Methods: Seventy subjects with phlegm-dampness constitution were divided into treatment group and control group with a randomized digital table. Control group was given health education and dietary instructions, and treatment group was given acupuncture and scraping therapy besides health education and dietary instructions. After four-week treatments, the scores of obesity and phlegm-dampness constitution were recorded to assess the clinical efficacy. Results: There was a striking difference in the total effective rate in treating obesity between the two groups (P〈0.01); combined acupuncture and scraping therapy can relieve the phlegm-dampness symptoms (P〈0.01); but the phlegm-dampness symptoms were not improved in the control group (P〉0.05). Conclusion: Combined acupuncture and scraping therapy is quite effective for simple obesity and in improving phlegm-dampness constitution of simple obesity people.展开更多
Objective:To observe the effect of scraping therapy(ST)on the immune balance of serum helper T(Th)1/Th2 cells in autologous nucleus pulposus transplantation non-compressive lumbar disc herniation(LDH)model rats,and ex...Objective:To observe the effect of scraping therapy(ST)on the immune balance of serum helper T(Th)1/Th2 cells in autologous nucleus pulposus transplantation non-compressive lumbar disc herniation(LDH)model rats,and explore the immune mechanism of ST in reducing LDH pain.Methods:Seventy-two male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into a model group,a sham operation group and a ST group,with 24 rats in each group.Autologous nucleus pulposus transplantation non-compressive LDH models were established in the model group and ST group,while the rats in the sham operation group underwent sham operation without model establishment.On the fifth day after the model was successfully prepared,rats in the ST group received ST,once every other day,3 times as a course for a total of 3 courses.Six rats in each group were randomly selected to observe their pain thresholds,and peripheral blood of the rats was collected before the first scraping treatment and at the end of the first,second,and third courses of treatment.The serum was isolated and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied for the detection of rat serum interferon(IFN)-γ,interleukin(IL)-4 and IL-10.Results:Compared with the model group,the pain threshold in LDH rats in the ST group increased(P<0.05),the serum IFN-γlevel was significantly reduced(P<0.05),but the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 did not change significantly(both P>0.05).At the end of the second and third courses of treatment,the IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio was negatively correlated with the pain threshold in the rats,and the IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio was significantly reduced in the ST group(P<0.01).Conclusion:ST can help suppress the Th1 immunity in LDH rats triggered by the autologous nucleus pulposus,restore the immune balance of Th1/Th2,and reduce the pain of LDH.展开更多

Method: Thirty-eight cases were treated with scraping method on the Bladder Meridian once every 10-12 d, by follow up once every half a year, for 3 years continuously. The mean frequency of asthma acute attack was recorded every year. Result: The annual frequency of acute attack of asthma before scraping method was (2.3±1.3) times on average, and reduced to (0.6±0.4) times after scraping therapy. Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score was recorded before and after the scraping treatment. The patients were visited again at the second day to inspect the development of the disease, including whether the headache was relapsed or aggravated; how long it was between the relapse or aggravation and the scraping treatment; patients' behavior after the scraping treatment. Result: The VAS score ofpre-treatment was 6.45±1.95, and it was 1.43±0.65 after treatment. The results had statistical significance. In the revisit among the 45 patients, there were 39 patients whose headache didn't relapsed or aggravated. For the left 6 patients who got relapsed or aggravated headache, researcher found that they did not follow the doctor's order well. To date, the AFC power train ...An armored face conveyor(AFC) is a key piece of equipment for a fully mechanized long-wall mining system and is currently the only means for transporting bulk material in hard coal mines. To date, the AFC power train design has mainly been based on heuristics obtained via experience, coupled with simple calculations, which cannot take the dynamic behaviors and coupling effects of the components into consideration. Therefore, model-based and simulation-driven design is preferred. In this paper, a new design and analysis methodology for an AFC power train is presented to achieve the optimal dynamic characteristics and transmission performance. A preliminary design procedure for a power train is first introduced. Then, a system-level hydro-mechatronic model of the power train is built to evaluate and optimize the preliminary scheme. Sub-models, including those for the motors, fluid couplers, gearboxes, and chain, are obtained according to their individual disciplines and assembled to form the system-level model. The chain sub-system is discretized into multiple finite elements. Governing equations are established for each element based on the Newton Euler approach and assembled according to the topological structure of the chain system. In order to make the new approach applicable for engineers, a design and analysis software is developed, with a graphical user interface that involves the whole design process. MATLAB/SIMULINK is used as the computational engine, and Visual C++ is adopted to develop the interactive software framework. Simulations for the SGZ1000/2000 type AFC are provided as an illustrative case study to validate the effectiveness and practicality of the model and software package.展开更多
Light absorption plays an important role in improving the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of quantum dot-sensitized solar cells(QDSSCs).In this study,a multifunctional long-persistence phosphor(LPP)layer was introduce...Light absorption plays an important role in improving the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of quantum dot-sensitized solar cells(QDSSCs).In this study,a multifunctional long-persistence phosphor(LPP)layer was introduced into the CdS/CdSe QDSSCs via a simple doctor blade method.The LPP layer can simultaneously improve the light harvesting and photo charge transfer in CdS/CdSe QDSSCs.As a result,their short-circuit current and corresponding PCE are effectively enhanced.The PCE can reach up to 5.07%,which is about 24%larger than that of the conventional CdS/CdSe QDSSCs without LPP layer.The solar cells can work in dark for a while due to the long-lasting fluorescence of the LPP layer.This research provides an effective way to improve the PCE of QDSSCs,and finds the possibility for all-weather QDSSCs.展开更多
