This model used the mechanism of sorption-diffusion-desorption and introduced a diffusion coefficient, which was dependent on the feed concentration and temperature. Regarding the strong coupling effect in the mass transfer, the concentration distribution in membrane was predicted using the Flory-Huggins thermodynamic theory. The batch experiments and other experiments with constant composition-were conducted-using a modified chitosan pervaporatioffmembrane to separate tert-butyl alcohol (TBA)-water mixtures. The parameters of the mass transfer model were obtained from the flux of the experiments with a constant composition and the activity coefficients available through phase equilibrium equation, using the Willson equation in the feed side and the Flory-Huggins thermodynamic theory within the membrane The simulation results of the experiments .are in good agreement with the results, of the experiments.展开更多

The analysis is a case study of the urban agglomeration on different levels of global, national, provincial and local scales, on the basis of those conclusions are drawn: 1) Within the scope of the urban agglomeration, the cities should be reasonably sized and appropriately densified; the spatial combination of the urban agglomeration ought to be orderly, and its eco-spatial structure ought to be optimized and efficient; the relationship between the economic society and eco-spatial environment ought to be that of mutual benefit and co-evolution. 2) “The mode of corridor group network” is a certain trend evoked from the spatial structure of urban agglomeration. 3) The eco-spatial structure of urban agglomeration under “the mode of corridor group network” can further increase the environmental capacity of urban agglomeration, and is in favor of the harmonious relationship between man and nature.展开更多

Performance evaluation on field synergy and composite regeneration of the diesel particulate filter was conducted by using the vortex crushing combustion and field synergy mathematical models. The results show that the peak temperature of the particulate filter body reaches 1180-1190 K when the regeneration time is 175 s, and there are optimal coordination degree between the velocity vector and temperature gradient of the filter body and the maximum ratio0.56-0.60 of the best burning regeneration region is obtained. Accordingly, the largest regeneration combustion rate inside the particulate filter body and the highest regeneration efficiency at the moment are achieved.展开更多

To achieve the optimal solution for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that are car- rying out a sensing task, this paper presents a Markov decision evolutionary game (MDEG) based learning algorithm. Each in- dividual in the algorithm follows a Markov decision strategy to maximize its payoff against the well known Tit-for-Tat strate- gy. Simulation results demonstrate that the MDEG theory based approach effectively improves the collective payoff of the roam. The proposed algorithm can not only obtain the best action sequence but also a sub-optimal Markov policy that is inde- pendent of the game duration. Furthermore, the paper also studies the emergence of cooperation in the evolution of self-regarded UAVs. The results show that it is the adaptive ability of the MDEG based approach as well as the perfect balance between revenge and forgiveness of the Tit-for-Tat strategy that the emergence of cooperation should be attributed to.展开更多
