The detached electron wave function is obtained as a superposition of two coherent waves originating from each center. The photo-detached electron flux is evaluated on a screen placed at a large distance from the negative molecular ion. The electron flux on the screen displays strong interferences, the peak positions are related to the distance between the two centers in the negative molecular ion. We a/so obtained a simple analytical formula for the total photodetachment cross section. It approaches one and two times of the cross section for the one-center system in the high and lowphoton energy limits respectively.展开更多

For nanoscale applications, quantum confinement of the inversion carriers must be taken into account. Based on the previous work of Ge, we establish an expression for the surface potential with respect to Qi, and form an implicit equation, from which Qi can be solved. Results predicted by our model are compared to published data as well as results from Schred,a popular 1D numerical solver that solves the Poisson's and Schr6dinger equa- tions self-consistently. Good agreement is obtained for a wide range of silicon layer thickness, confirming the supe- riority of this model over previous work in this field.展开更多

From the numerical results, we find that the new physics contributions cannot provide very large enhancement to the branching ratios and the theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the SM ones. The T2HDM effects on FBAs of these decays are small. Precision measurements of the dilepton invariant mass distributions, especially in the lower dilepton mass region, and the FBAs in the decays Bu^+ → π^+ (ρ^+ )e^+ e^- will greatly help in discriminating among the SM and the new physics models.展开更多

Using the precision data, we obtain the bounds on the parameter space of the T2HDM: (a) For fixed MH = 400 GeV and 5= [0°, 60°], the upper bound on tan β is tan β≤ 30 after the inclusion of major theoretical uncertainties; (b) For the case of tan β≤ 20, a light charged Higgs boson with a mass around 300 GeV is allowed; and (c) The bounds on tan β and MH are strongly correlated: a smaller (larger) tan β means a lighter (heavier) charged Higgs boson.展开更多

We analyze the entanglement dynamics of two-mode squeezed thermal state in this model and show that its entanglement dynamics is strongly determined by the two-mode squeezing parameter and the purity. In particular, we find that two-mode squeezed thermal state with the squeezing parameter r ≤ -(1/2) In √u is extremely fragile and almost does not survive in a common vacuum environment. We investigate the time evolution of nonlocality for two-mode squeezed thermal state in such an environment. It is found that the evolved state loses its nonlocality in the beginning of the evolution, but after a time, the revival of nonlocality can occur.展开更多

On the basis of instanton technique in the spin-coherent-state path-integral representation, both the rigorous Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin exponent and pre-exponential factor for the ground-state tunnel splitting are obtained. We find that the quantum fluctuations around the classical paths can not only induce a new quantum phase previously reported by Chiolero and Loss (Phys. Rev. Lett. 80 (1998) 169), but also have great influence on the intensity of the ground-state tunnel splitting. Those features clearly have no analogue in the ferromagnetic molecular magnets. We suggest that they may be the universal behaviors in all antiferromagnetic molecular magnets. The analytical results are complemented by exact diagonalization calculation.展开更多

The effective S-D wave transition interactions induced by gluon and Goldstone bosonexchanges decrease quickly as the increasing of the channel strangeness. The K and η meson tensorcontribution is negligible in this model. No six-quark state in the light Savor world can become abound one by the help of these tensor interactions except the deuteron. The partial D-wave decaywidth of I J~p = (1/2) 2~+ NΩ state to spin 0, 1 ΛΞ final state is 20.7 keV and 63.1 keVrespectively. It is a very narrow dibaryon resonance and might be detected in the relativistic heavyion reaction by the existing RHIC detectors through the reconstruction of the ΛΞ vertex mass andthe future COMPAS detector at CERN and FAIR project in Germany.展开更多

There are two or four peaks in the concurrence of the bipartite entanglement when the amplitudes of the magnetic fields are. differently distributed between the three qubits. It is very interesting to note that there is no tangle of tripartite entanglement between the three qubits when the amplitudes of the magnetic fieMs are varied. However, the variation of the magnetic field direction can induce the tangle. The tangle is periodic about the angle between the magnetic field and the z axis of the spin.展开更多
