Qingshankou shale(Gulong area,China)exhibits strong acoustic anisotropy characteristics,posing significant challenges to its exploration and development.In this study,the five full elastic constants and multipole resp...Qingshankou shale(Gulong area,China)exhibits strong acoustic anisotropy characteristics,posing significant challenges to its exploration and development.In this study,the five full elastic constants and multipole response law of the Qingshankou shale were studied using experimental measurements.Analyses show that the anisotropy parametersϵandγin the study region are greater than 0.4,whereas the anisotropy parameterδis smaller,generally 0.1.Numerical simulations show that the longitudinal and transverse wave velocities of these strong anisotropic rocks vary significantly with inclination angle,and significant differences in group velocity and phase velocity are also present.Acoustic logging measures the group velocity in dipped boreholes;this differs from the phase velocity to some extent.As the dip angle increases,the longitudinal and SH wave velocities increase accordingly,while the qSV-wave velocity initially increases and then decreases,reaching its maximum value at a dip of approximately 40°.These results provide an effective guide for the correction and modeling of acoustic logging time differences in the region.展开更多

The predicted protein sequence of GhMADS3 showed 85%, 73%, and 62% identity with Theobroma cacao TcAG, Antirrhinum majus FAR, and Arabidopsis thaliana AG, respectively, and was grouped with AG homologues when the full length sequences excluding N-extensions were compared. GhMADS3 expressed in the wild type cotton flower primarily in stamens and carpels, which was comparable to AG in Arabidopsis. However, it was not expressed in floral buds of a homeotic cotton variant chvl. Ectopic expression of GhMADS3 in tobacco （Nicotiana tabacum L.） resulted in flowers with sepal-to-carpel and petal-to-stamen transformation. The carpelloid first whorl organs, with stigmatic tissue on their upper edges, had a white appearance when compared with the dark green color of the wild type sepals. At times, long filaments were observed at the fusion site of the first carpelloid oranges. The second whorl organs in staminoid were usually smaller than the wild type and the color was changed from pink to white. These results suggest that GhMADS3 has a homeotic role in flower development.展开更多
Mitochondrial 12S and 16S ribosomal RNA genes sequences were sequenced using dye-labeled terminator on an ABI 377 automated sequencer in 11 individuals and 1 species' sequences were gained from GenBank,representin...Mitochondrial 12S and 16S ribosomal RNA genes sequences were sequenced using dye-labeled terminator on an ABI 377 automated sequencer in 11 individuals and 1 species' sequences were gained from GenBank,representing 6 genera of family Tetrigidae.The collated sequences were aligned using Clustal X version 1.81 and then,the sequence variability and heredity distances based on Kimura 2-parameter model were calculated using Mega 2.1.In obtained sequences (736 bp),the average A+T content is 73.9%,ranging from 71.2% to 77.5%;the overall G+C content is 26.1%,ranging from 22.5% to 28.8%.Based on alignment of the combined sequences,185 parsimony-informative sites were revealed in 755 available base pairs.Phylogenetic trees were reconstructed using NJ,MP and ML methods with Cylindraustralia kochii as outgroup.The results indicated that the monophyletic nature of Tetrix is questioned and suggest that T.tubercarina may be given tribal rank.Our results also show that Coptltettix huanjiangensis and C.gongshanensis are the same species,i.e.Coptltettix gongshanensis Zheng,and C.huanjiangensis is the synonyms of C.gongshanensis.展开更多

Five arbitrary primers were screened which showed differences in DNA amplified polymorphism between the variant and its wild line. Some new proteins appeared in the salt tolerant plant under salt stress. Electrophoresis of peroxidase and esterase also showed some differences in isozyme expression between them. The chlorophyll content of the variant was higher than that of the original variety, whether the plants were under salt stress or not.展开更多

The results showed that malic enzyme exists in heart, gonads, eyes and gills tissues in both female and male V. macrolepis. There was only one ME-2 in heart and ME-1 in eye of female fish, while there were ME-1 and ME-2 in heart and ME-2 in eyes of male fish. Ovary contained ME-1 and ME-2, while spermary only contained ME-1. In kidney and spleen tissues, malic enzyme was found only in female fish, while in muscle, malic enzyme existed only in male fish. The phenotypic of malic enzyme had obvious differences no matter in the same organ of different sexes in V. macrolepis or different organs in the same sex. But there were no differences among different individuals of the same sex. The results will provide basic data for developmental genetics, breed improvement and directed breeding of V. macrolepis, and lay a foundation for its development and protection.展开更多

According to the mRNA and amino acid sequence, the character of mPDI such as the physical and chemical properties, hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity, signal peptide, secondary structure, coiled coil, transmembrane domains, O-glycogylation site, active site, subcellular localization, functional structural domains and three-dimensional structure were analyzed by a series of bioinformatics software. The results showed that mPDI was a hydrophobic and stable protein with 3 coiled coils, 30-glycogylation sites, 2 structural domains of thioredoxin, 2 active sites of thioredoxin, and located in rough endoplasmic reticulum. It has 512 amino acids, the theoretical pl is 4.98, and signal peptide located in 1-24AA. In the secondary structure, a-helix, random coil, extended chain is 26.37%, 53.32%, 20.31% respectively. The validation of modeling accords with the stereochemistry.展开更多

MethodsBALB/c and C57BL/6 mice splenocytes were harves...Aim To investigate the mechanism of anti-CD132 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)inhibiting T cells proliferation in vitro, and their potential values for clinical use. MethodsBALB/c and C57BL/6 mice splenocytes were harvested for two-ways mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC).Anti-CD132 mAbs (final concentration 100 mg·L^(-1)) were added in MLC on day 0 (group 1) or day 3(group 2). Fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) was used to measure the proliferation(carboxy-fluorescein dia cetate, succinimidyl ester, CFSE), apoptosis of T cells (PE-CD3,FTTC-annexin-v), and cell cycle (pro-pidium iodide stain) . The expression of survivin in T cellswas detected by immunochemical stai-ning. Re-sults Multi-generation CFSE-labeled splenocytes werefound dividing and their fluorescent strength decreased in MLC. There was no noticeable change influorescent intensity in group 1 and group 2. On day 3, apoptosis induced by anti-CD132 mAbs wasdetected in part of T cells, but was not detected in the former two days in group 1. In group 2, thenumber of cells in M phase (activated T cells) decreased and apoptot-ic cells increased on day 4.The phenomena were not observed in control group (P < 0.01). Expression of survivin in T cells wasdetected in control group but not in groups 1 and 2. Conclusion Blockade of CD132 signaling pathwayinhibits T cell proliferation in vitro by means of inducing activated alloreactive T cell apoptosisbut not the resting T cells. Owing to the different attitudes of various cultures in different spatial-times, it was more depressed rather than accepted, but as an objective being in histor）; it shows itself a static state accompanying the whole human history. Today homosexuality has been one of the mainstreams in western intellectual movement and it is vitally important for us to give it a reasonable, precise definition in order to build up a harmonious society. This article tries to break through the bondage of material determinism and economical monism. It will be guided by the principle to delve into the human sub-consciousness to find the same essence between homosexuality and heterosexuality, to trace back to the origin of homosexuality in archetypal approach in order to reveal the anxiety of the legality of human existence and its poetic construction, which is hidden behind the cultural phenomenon.展开更多
