Being a principle of high value, socialist core values guide the direction of TikTok, TikTok also provides a new path for the cultivation of socialist core values of college students. For the cultivation of socialist core values, TikTok’s decentralization enhances its subjectivity, entertainment enriches content and form, fragmentation breaks the limits of time and space. However, TikTok itself has the characteristics of pan-liberalization, pan-entertainment and pan-fragmentation, resulting in the individualism, hedonism, utilitarianism values.
