Reasons and realities such as being non-linear of dynamical equations,being lightweight and unstable nature of quadrotor,along with internal and external disturbances and parametric uncertainties,have caused that the ...Reasons and realities such as being non-linear of dynamical equations,being lightweight and unstable nature of quadrotor,along with internal and external disturbances and parametric uncertainties,have caused that the controller design for these quadrotors is considered the challenging issue of the day.In this work,an adaptive sliding mode controller based on neural network is proposed to control the altitude of a quadrotor.The error and error derivative of the altitude of a quadrotor are the inputs of neural network and altitude sliding surface variable is its output.Neural network estimates the sliding surface variable adaptively according to the conditions of quadrotor and sets the altitude of a quadrotor equal to the desired value.The proposed controller stability has been proven by Lyapunov theory and it is shown that all system states reach to sliding surface and are remaining in it.The superiority of the proposed control method has been proven by comparison and simulation results.展开更多

AIM:To investigate the effect of transgenic expression of kallistatin(Kal) on carbon tetrachloride(CCl 4)induced liver injury by intramuscular(im) electrotransfer of a Kal-encoding plasmid formulated with poly-Lglutam...AIM:To investigate the effect of transgenic expression of kallistatin(Kal) on carbon tetrachloride(CCl 4)induced liver injury by intramuscular(im) electrotransfer of a Kal-encoding plasmid formulated with poly-Lglutamate(PLG).METHODS:The pKal plasmid encoding Kal gene was formulated with PLG and electrotransferred into mice skeletal muscle before the administration of CCl 4.The expression level of Kal was measured.The serum biomarker levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),malonyldialdehyde(MDA),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α were monitored.The extent of CCl 4-induced liver injury was analyzed histopathologically.RESULTS:The transgene of Kal was sufficiently expressed after an im injection of plasmid formulated with PLG followed by electroporation.In the Kal gene-transferred mice,protection against CCl 4-induced liver injury was reflected by significantly decreased serum ALT,AST,MDA and TNF-α levels compared to those in control mice(P < 0.01 to 0.05 in a dose-dependent manner).Histological observations also revealed that hepatocyte necrosis,hemorrhage,vacuolar change and hydropic degeneration were apparent in mice after CCl 4 administration.In contrast,the damage was markedly attenuated in the Kal gene-transferred mice.The expression of hepatic fibrogenesis marker transforming growth factor-β1 was also reduced in the pKal transferred mice.CONCLUSION:Intramuscular electrotransfer of plasmid pKal which was formulated with PLG significantly alleviated the CCl 4-induced oxidative stress and inflammatory response,and reduced the liver damage in a mouse model.展开更多

We reported a case of mese...Although mesenterioaxial gastric volvulus is an uncommon entity characterized by rotation at the transverse axis of the stomach, laparoscopic repair procedures have still been controversial. We reported a case of mesenterioaxial intrathoracic gastric volvulus, which was successfully treated with laparoscopic repair of the diaphragmatic hiatal defect using a polytetrafluoroethylene mesh associated with Toupet fundoplication. A 70-year-old Japanese woman was admitted to our hospital because of sudden onset of upper abdominal pain. An upper gastrointestinal series revealed an incarcerated intrathoracic mesenterioaxial volvulus of the distal portion of the stomach and the duodenum. The complete laparoscopic approach was used to repair the volvulus. The laparoscopic procedures involved the repair of the hiatal hernia using polytetrafluoroethylene mesh and Toupet fundoplication. This case highlights the feasibility and effectiveness of the laparoscopic procedure, and laparoscopic repair of the hiatal defect using a polytetrafluoroethylene mesh associated with Toupet fundoplication may be useful for preventing postoperative recurrence of hiatal her-nia, volvulus, and gastroesophageal reflux.展开更多

A GPS receiver working in Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) mode can offer c...Position and orientation estimation with high accuracy based on GPS and encoders for a four-wheel-steering vehicle (4WS) mobile robot is presented. A GPS receiver working in Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) mode can offer centimeter-level accuracy for our vehicle. In addition to GPS, the vehicle is equipped with four incremental encoders and two absolute encoders to provide information on wheels for estimation of velocity and sideslip angle of vehicle. The proposed architecture of position and orientation estimation consists of two extended Kalman filters and a processing unit of Runga-Kutta based dead reckoning. The first EKF fuses data from six encoders to estimate the vehicle velocity and the sideslip angle. The second EKF is applied to the estimation of position and orientation based on the measurement from precise RTK GPS data and output from first EKF. To obtain higher accuracy of estimation, an arbitrator is designed to switch between EKF2 and dead reckoning. The results and analysis of experiments are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Limitations of the proposed approach and future works are also pointed out and discussed in this paper.展开更多
Iron-based single-atom catalysts with nitrogen-doped carbon as support(Fe-SA/NPC)are considered effective alternatives to replace Pt-group metals for scalable application in fuel cells.However,synthesizing high-loadin...Iron-based single-atom catalysts with nitrogen-doped carbon as support(Fe-SA/NPC)are considered effective alternatives to replace Pt-group metals for scalable application in fuel cells.However,synthesizing high-loading Fe-SA catalysts by a simple procedure remains challenging.Herein,we report a high-loading(7.5 wt%)Fe-SA/NPC catalyst prepared by carbon-assisted pyrolysis of metal complexes.Both the nitrogen-doped porous carbon(NPC)support with high specific surface area and ο-phenylenediamine(o-PD)play key roles role in the preparation of high-loading Fe-SA/NPC catalysts.The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy experiments show that the Fe atoms are anchored on the carbon carriers in a single-atom site configuration and coordinated with four of the doped nitrogen atoms of the carbon substrates(Fe-N_(4)).The activities of the Fe-SA/NPC catalysts in the oxygen reduction reaction increased with increasing iron loading.The optimized 250Fe-SA/NPC-800 catalyst exhibited an onset potential 0.97 V of and a half-wave potential of 0.85 V.Our study provides a simple approach for the large-scale synthesis of high-loading single-atom catalysts.展开更多

Blockade of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone-system (RAAS) attenuates hepatic fibrosis. The aim of the present study was to determine the mechanism of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) on the progression of rat hepatic fibrosis. METHODS: Forty male Wistar rats were divided into three groups. Model group (Mo): The rats were injected subcutaneously with 40% of CCl4 0.25 mL/100 g. Perindopril group (Pe): The rats were injected subcutaneously with 40% of CCl4. Perindopril, equivalent to 2 mg/(kg·d), was administrated. Control group (Nc): the rats were treated with olive oil only. After 4 and 6 wk, the rats were killed. The liver sections were stained with Masson. The protein expressions of ATIR, TGF-β1 and PDGF-BB were examined by Western blot. Nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) DNA binding activity was examined by EMSA (Electrophoretic gel mobility shift assay). Matrix metalloproteinase-2,9 (MMP-2,9) activity was assessed by zymography. Serum laminin (LN) and hyaluronic acid (HA) were measured using radioimmunoassays. RESULTS: Using Western blot, we clearly provided direct evidence for the expression of ATIR in liver. The expression was up-regulated when fibrogenesis occurred. Perindopril treatment significantly reduced mean fibrosis score, protein levels of ATIR, TGF-β1 and PDGF-BB, serum levels of HA and LN, and the activity of MMP-2,9. NF-κB DNA bindingactivity markedly increased in model group, perindopril treatment considerably reduced NF-κB DNA binding activity.CONCLUSION: Perindopril attenuates CCl4-induced hepatic fibrogenesis of rat by inhibiting TGF-β1, PDGF-BB, NF-BB and MMP-2,9.展开更多

High nondegeneration FWM is observed for a detuning range over 3 THz. This scheme has better conversion efficiency than that of conventional single semiconductor optical amplifier converter.展开更多

This new engine comprises an energy conversion system and a differential velocity drive mechanism (DVDM). Two special geared four-bar mechanisms, DVDM-1 and DVDM-2, were utilized and compared. Based on the closed loop vector method, a mathematical model for position, velocity, and acceleration of the two mechanisms was established. Numerical examples illustrate that the kinematic characteristics were presented. Expression of the displacement and compression ratio of the two engine mechanisms were derived and compared. It is concluded that both DVDM-1 and DVDM-2 adopted in the proposed TRPE with six vane pistons create thirty-six power strokes per revolution of the output shaft, and the summation of two angles covered by each rocker is always 2x/N as the output shaft rotates an angle of x/N. In DVDM-1, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.2°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 10; in DVDM-2, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.6°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 4.3.展开更多

The oscillations contain a perturbation with the same frequency of EP violation signal, which is mitigated by two different methods as in Galileo Galilei (GG) mission and μSCOPE. In GG the sensor for readout is sensitive to differential forces in the orbital plane perpendicular to spin axis of test cylinders. In order to mitigate the nutational oscillatory effect, test mass should be rapidly rotated with the spin axis. However, in μSCOPE, the readout sensitive axis is the symmetry axis in the orbital plane. This nutational oscillation will produce a second order effect in the rotation amplitude at twice the signal frequency, and could be subtracted easily, too.展开更多

With this, the gaits transferring could be continuous. 文摘The pivot turning function of quadruped bionic robots can improve their mobility in unstructured environment.A kind of bionic flexible body mechanism for quadruped robot was proposed in this paper,which is composed of one bionic spine and four pneumatic artificial muscles(PAMs).The coordinated movement of the bionic flexible body and the leg mechanism can achieve pivot turning gait.First,the pivot turning gait planning of quadruped robot was analyzed,and the coordinated movement sequence chart of pivot turning was presented.Then the kinematics modeling of leg side swing and body bending for pivot turning was derived,which should meet the condition of the coordinated movement between bionic flexible body and leg mechanism.The PAM experiment was conducted to analyze its contraction characteristic.The study on pivot turning of the quadruped robot will lay a theoretical foundation for the further research on dynamic walking stability of the quadruped robot in unstructured environment.

文摘A fully transparent wavelength converter is demonstrated based on four-wave mixing (FWM) in a semiconductor optical amplifier-fiber ring laser. Two WDM signals at the wavelength of 1 549.3 nm and 1 550.9 nm are respectively converted simultaneously with a maximum wavelength shift of 6.4 nm for the first time. High nondegeneration FWM is observed for a detuning range over 3 THz. This scheme has better conversion efficiency than that of conventional single semiconductor optical amplifier converter.

文摘A novel twin-rotor piston engine (TRPE) mechanism with high volumetric output and power density was introduced. This new engine comprises an energy conversion system and a differential velocity drive mechanism (DVDM). Two special geared four-bar mechanisms, DVDM-1 and DVDM-2, were utilized and compared. Based on the closed loop vector method, a mathematical model for position, velocity, and acceleration of the two mechanisms was established. Numerical examples illustrate that the kinematic characteristics were presented. Expression of the displacement and compression ratio of the two engine mechanisms were derived and compared. It is concluded that both DVDM-1 and DVDM-2 adopted in the proposed TRPE with six vane pistons create thirty-six power strokes per revolution of the output shaft, and the summation of two angles covered by each rocker is always 2x/N as the output shaft rotates an angle of x/N. In DVDM-1, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.2°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 10; in DVDM-2, the span angle of a vane piston should be designed to be 10.6°, and the compression ratio should be equal to 4.3.

文摘The significance of quadrupole gravitational force is discussed for test mass in equivalence principle (EP), and the angular moment acting on a cylindrically symmetrical body due to quadrupole force is calculated, which will result in nutational oscillatory effect. The oscillations contain a perturbation with the same frequency of EP violation signal, which is mitigated by two different methods as in Galileo Galilei (GG) mission and μSCOPE. In GG the sensor for readout is sensitive to differential forces in the orbital plane perpendicular to spin axis of test cylinders. In order to mitigate the nutational oscillatory effect, test mass should be rapidly rotated with the spin axis. However, in μSCOPE, the readout sensitive axis is the symmetry axis in the orbital plane. This nutational oscillation will produce a second order effect in the rotation amplitude at twice the signal frequency, and could be subtracted easily, too.
文摘The hysteresis control combined with PWM control non-inverting buck-boost was proposed to improve the light load efficiency and power density.The constant inductor current control(CICC)was established to mitigate the dependence on the external components and device variation and make smooth transition between hysteresis control loop and pulse width modulation(PWM)control loop.The small signal model was deduced for the buck and boost operation mode.The inductor current slope control(ICSC)was proposed to implement the automatic mode transition between buck and boost mode in one switching cycle.The results show that the converter prototype has good dynamic response capability,achieving 94%efficiency and 95%peak efficiency at full 10 A load current.

文摘In nature, quadrupeds as horses or cats change their gait to be suited to their motion speed. This fact is very important to realize smooth motion with different gaits. In this article a method of the gait transition for the quadruped walking machine is proposed. With analyzing the accustomed gaits of quadruped, some standard gaits and the relationships between duty factor and the phasic differences of the legs corresponding to the first leg could be concluded. With this, the gaits transferring could be continuous. Besides, celerity and on line method for generation and modifying gaits is studied, which can make the robot have a smooth motion to adapt the uncharted rough terrain.

文摘We study the interaction of a weak probe field, having two circular polarized components, i.e., cr- and a+ polarization, with an optically dense medium of four-level atoms in a double-A configuration, which is mediated by the electromagnetically induced transparency with a polarized control light with spatially inhomogeneous profile. We analyse the deflection of the polarized probe light and we find that we can selectively determine which circular component will be deflected after the polarized probe light enters the atom medium via adjusting the polarization and detuning of the control field.
