NJ298 which could produce carotenoids was isolated from Antarctic sea ice. The major carotenoid was identified as astaxanthin by Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS), and its content accounted for 87.62% of total carotenoids (1,786 μg/g). High Performance Liquid Chromatogrephy (HPLC) analysis showed that the purity of the astaxanthin reached about 96. 16% through a simple purification. Maximum astaxanthin production (1,908μg/g) was obtained when the yeast was grown at 10 ℃ in seawater medium containing 5 g/L sodium acetate, 5 g/L peptone, 0.5 g/L NaC1, 0.01 g/L KH2PO4; 0.01 g/L MgSO4·7H20 and 0.001 g/L FeSO4·7H20 at pH 7.5.展开更多

The former is mainly composed of zircon, garnet inclusions, indicating that its mother rocks are mainly metamorphic rocks. Gas and zircon, iron ore, carbon grain inclusions is common in the front of Qimantage mountain, indicating that its mother rock are mainly magmatite and mixed metamorphic rocks. The supply resource is abundant and tectonic movement is active in the joint of the two mountains. The western Qaidamu basin is further divided into 6 heavy mineral sub-regions according to their features of association and stable coefficient of heavy mineral. They are approximately corresponding to their sedimentary environment. Of the 6 sub-regions, the unstable region is corresponding to fluvial fan, middle stable re- gion is corresponding to river-alluvial plain-delta, stable region is corresponding to river-alluvial plain -delta-offshore. The fragment transported distance is presumed based on stable coefficient. In vertical, stable coefficient of heavy min- eral becomes small from Xiaganchai formation to Xiayoushashan formation, indicating that the supply resource be- came nearer and nearer.展开更多
To understand how hydrological and biological factors affect near-to off-shore variations in the siphonophore community,we sampled zooplankton at 82 stations in the northern South China Sea during summer,winter,and sp...To understand how hydrological and biological factors affect near-to off-shore variations in the siphonophore community,we sampled zooplankton at 82 stations in the northern South China Sea during summer,winter,and spring.Forty-one species of siphonophore were collected by vertical trawling.The species richness of siphonophores increased from the nearshore to offshore regions in all three seasons of investigation,with maximum richness in summer and minimum richness in winter.The abundance of siphonophores was also higher in summer than in spring and winter,concentrated in the nearshore region in the warm season and scattered in the offshore region in the cold season.Four siphonophore groups were classified according to the frequency of occurrence:nearshore,near-offshore,offshore,and tropical pelagic.Among them,the nearshore group had higher abundance nearshore compared with the offshore.The tropical pelagic group had higher species number offshore than nearshore.Spatial and temporal fluctuations in taxonomic composition and abundance of siphonophores were due to the influence of the coastal upwelling and surface ocean currents of the South China Sea,driven by the East Asia monsoonal system.展开更多

Fifty female animals collected from the North-Eastern area of Thailand were slaughtered in the different age groups as 0, 1, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 and 6 months of age, respectively (each group = 5 pigs), for monitoring corpus luteum (CL) occurrence on ovarian surface and some changes of reproductive structure. CL was clearly found for the first time in the 4.5 months age group (P 〈 0.05) which was defined as the first ovulation; nevertheless, group of follicles with 〉 2.0 mm in diameter appeared for the first time in the 3.5 month age group (P 〈 0.05). For other conformations, size of uterine horns, oviducts or ovaries, including weight of ovaries or whole reproductive tracts, were significantly developed (P 〈 0.05) that was initially taken place in the 3.5 months age group onwards. Thus, it was summarized that the onset of puberty in Thai indigenous gilts, affirmed by CL appearance at the first time, should be happened between 4.0 and 4.5 months of age; however, the development of reproductive structure and follicles to prepare in approaching puberty should be started before 3.5 months of age.展开更多

In view of the difficulties of installing these documentary systems in developing countries, in particularly the countries of sub-Saharan Africa, the new strategies of traceability emerge. Among the new tools of tracing the products of vegetable origin, a "biological code bar" based on the analysis of the DNA of micro-organisms present on the fruits is an interesting tool. A molecular technique employing 26S rDNA profiles generated by PCR-DGGE was used to detect the variation in yeast community structures of Shea tree fruits (Vitellaria paradoxa) from Senegal, Ghana and Mali. When the 26S rDNA profiles were analyzed by image analysis and multivariate analysis, distinct microbial communities were detected on Shea tree fruits. The band profiles of yeasts from different countries were specific for each location and could be used as a bar code to discriminate the origin of the fruits. This method is a new traceability tool which provides fruit products with an unique biological bar code and makes it possible to trace back the fruits to their original location.展开更多

[Method] After the activated wine yeast was added to the apple juice by sizing classification, rinsing, falling to pieces and squeezing, the pre...[Objective] The aim was to study the brewing technology of apple brandy. [Method] After the activated wine yeast was added to the apple juice by sizing classification, rinsing, falling to pieces and squeezing, the preceding fermentation began. Every other day, parameters of fer- mentation broth such as temperature, pH, acidity, sugar content and bubble nurdbers were detected. Once the sugar content of the fermentation suspension was approaching 5 -6 °Bx, the following fermentation would start via pouring wine. After 20 -30 days, the cider was changed into origi- nal apple brandy by distillation. The last procedure was aging which included man-made speediness aging and oak wood aging about 20 days. The physical and chemical compositions before and after aging were measured. [ Result] 22.5 kg apple resulted into 16.56 L of juice. The juice yield was about 73.6% (10 ml/kg). The alcohol rate of distilled apple juice was 20.0%. The color of apple brandy was darker than that of original apple brandy. Alcohol level reduced, but total acidity, fixed acid, lipid and furfural content rose. [ Conclusion] The apple brandy was of particular flavor and high quality by selecting befitting fruit, activated wine yeast and feasible brewing, distillation and aging technology. It will be conductive to the development of apple processing industry and the research and development of key brandy technique.展开更多
The Qilishan gold deposit is located in the southern Zhaolai gold ore belt in the northwestern Jiaodong region.A total of seven gold ore bodies have been found in the mining area.Linglong gneissic biotite granite and ...The Qilishan gold deposit is located in the southern Zhaolai gold ore belt in the northwestern Jiaodong region.A total of seven gold ore bodies have been found in the mining area.Linglong gneissic biotite granite and the NE trending Lingbei fracture control the output and distribution of the gold deposit.The ore bodies with veined or irregular shape occur in the structural alteration zone.The ore bodies of different sizes are NE trending and SE dipping.The constituent minerals of the ores mainly include pyrite,chalcopyrite,native gold,electrum,argentite,matildite,hematite,quartz and calcite.The ores are characterized by metasomatic dissolution structure,as well as veined and brecciated structures.The ore-forming process is divided into four stages,namely quartz-,pyrite-,polymetallic-and carbonate stages.Study on fluid inclusion shows that the deposit is composed of gas-liquid two-phase inclusions (Ⅰ) and three-phase inclusions containing CO2 (Ⅱ),and that the former dominates.The homogenization temperature is 259.6℃-373.7℃ ; the salinity of three-phase inclusions containing CO2is 5.77%-9.84% (NaCl) ; the salinity of gas-liquid two-phase inclusions is 6.58%-8.54% (NaCl) ; and the estimated ore-forming pressure is 55.2-82.2 MPa.According to the nonlinear relationship between the depth and pressure of the fluid in the fracture zone,the ore-forming depth of the Qilishan gold deposit is calculated as 5.95-7.14 km.It is preliminarily determined that the deposit is a mesophilic and hypothermal gold deposit.展开更多

The present study pointed out microbial investigating of date palm collected from National wholesale market in Fez city in the center north of Morocco. The results reveal that samples dates studied are contaminated by bacteria such as TAMF (total aerobic mesophilic flora), ASR (anaerobic sulfite reducing), yeasts and molds. The percentage of yeasts isolated is 50% for Saccharomyces cervisae, 10% for Zygosaccharomyces fermentati, 20% for Hansenula anomala, 10% for Lodderomyces elongisporus and 10% for Kluyveromyces fragilis. The frequency of molds distribution is 51% for Aspergillus niger, 33% for Penicillium notatum and 16% for Rhizopus oryzae. Newman and keuls grouping test shows that fungal germs distribution is equal for yeast and molds in all samples analyzed. In the opposite bacterial grouping test shows greet difference between groups of bacteria isolated from date's samples.展开更多

The formation age and petrogenesis of the granite are ...Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology and geochemical analyses are undertaken for the garnet-bear-ing muscovite monzogranite in Yitong area, central Jilin Province. The formation age and petrogenesis of the granite are determined, and the regional tectonic background is discussed. Zircons from the granite are euhe-dral-subhedral in shape, and display fine-scale oscillatory growth zoning, indicating a magmatie origin. LA- ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating result indicates that the garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites formed in the mid-dle Triassic (243 Ma ). The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites have high SiO2 (SiO2 = 74.1%- 76.49% ), rich aluminum (A1203 = 14.47%-14.68% ) and alkali ( NazO + K20 = 4.31%-7.9% ), low Fe203T and MgO (MgO =0.1%-0. 13% , Fe203T =0.46%-1.02% ). The ratio of CaO/Na20 is between 0.17--0. 21. The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong region are relatively enriched in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs) , and depleted of heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) and high field strength elements (HFSEs). They are characterized by high Sr and Ba, poor Rb and Y, and negative Eu abnormally (δEu =0.48-0.62) , with Rb/Sr 〈 1. The εHf(t) values and TDM2 of zircons range from + 6. 10 to + 8.00 and from 725 Ma to 814 Ma, respectively. The above features indicate that gar- net-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong area were derived from partial melting of metasedimentary rock. These granites have high Sr/Y ratios, which suggest they formed in a thickened continental crust. Combined with the coeval granitic rocks in central Jilin Province, we suggested that a significant eollisional and thickening event took place during the Middle Triassic.展开更多

These two countries tried to introduce as well as adapt English education and policy toward globalization. First of all, the two initiated mandatory elementary English education and then acknowledged the significance of English CLT (Communication Language Teaching). Thus, curriculum and policy for English education based on globalization oriented to the introduction of English native speakers and English-only classes. Based on these situations, Korea created EPIK (English Program in Korea) and NEST (Native English Speaking Teacher) respectively for inviting English native teachers. In the similar educational conditions, the recognitions of elementary school students of Korea and Taiwan regarding on English-only classes by native English speakers showed the relatively meaningful results. Compared with Taiwan Residents students, first, Korean students have greater ability in understanding of English-only class. Second, Korean students respond that native English speaking teachers' class helps them improve English better. Third, Korean students tend to use Korean and English together to improve their understanding. Fourth, Korean students respond English-only class reduces fear about English. Fifth, Korean students experience less difficulties in communicating with native English speaking teachers due to culture differences. Korean elementary students relatively have a higher understanding rate about native English speaking teacher's class.展开更多

The res...The authors studied geochronology and geochemical data of the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite in the southern Zhangguangcai Range in order to determine its formation age,magma source,and tectonic environment. The results indicate that the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite was formed in the Middle Jurassic with an age of 168. 2 ± 2. 0 Ma( MSWD = 0. 93). The monzogranite was characterized by high alkali and low Ca O and Mg O,belonging to high-potassium calc-alkaline,metaluminous I-type granite. The rock is enriched in large ion lithophile elements such as Rb,Ba,and K and strongly depleted high field strength elements such as P,Ti,Nb,and Ta. It is concluded that the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite was derived from partial melting of amphibolite facies metamorphism mafic lower-crust and its formation was controlled by the Pacific Plate subduction.展开更多

After meiosis reinitiation induced by DTT solution, the germinal vesicle (GV) migrates towards the protuberance. The GV breaks down after it migrates to the oocyte membrane on the protuberance side. The protuberance then contracts back into the oocyte and the first polar body extrudes from the site of the former protuberance. The second polar body forms beneath the first. Objectives of this study were to investigate the efficacy of dexamethasone in combination with estradiol benzoate in controlled induction of parturition in heifers, especially in the subjects of retained fetal membran...Objectives of this study were to investigate the efficacy of dexamethasone in combination with estradiol benzoate in controlled induction of parturition in heifers, especially in the subjects of retained fetal membranes and dystocia caused by fetal oversize. A total number of 100 Holstein-Friesian heifers aged 24-25 months, mean weight 450 kg and body condition score of 3-4 from a dairy herd located in the suburb of Tabriz with similar nutrition and management systems were allocated at random into two groups. Group A (Control, n = 50) heifers, after passing the minimum 270 d of pregnancy were injected with 30 mg dexamethasone IM. Group B (Treatment, n = 50) heifers with the same period of pregnancy received 30 mg dexamethasone plus 20 mg estradiol benzoate IM on the same days of pregnancy. The overall durations of initial treatments to induction of parturition were (41.50 ~ 2.65) h in group A and (37.50 :i: 1.27) h in group B. In group A, more dystocia cases were observed than in group B. After parturition, group A showed a higher percentage of retention of fetal membranes as well as the calf mortality and dystocia compared to group B. The differences between two groups were statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). In conclusion, our results indicate that induction of parturition by estradiol benzoate and dexamethasone together will be more effective than dexamethasone alone because of the less retention of fetal membranes, easy calving and shorter time from induction to parturition.展开更多

文摘The Qilishan gold deposit is located in the southern Zhaolai gold ore belt in the northwestern Jiaodong region.A total of seven gold ore bodies have been found in the mining area.Linglong gneissic biotite granite and the NE trending Lingbei fracture control the output and distribution of the gold deposit.The ore bodies with veined or irregular shape occur in the structural alteration zone.The ore bodies of different sizes are NE trending and SE dipping.The constituent minerals of the ores mainly include pyrite,chalcopyrite,native gold,electrum,argentite,matildite,hematite,quartz and calcite.The ores are characterized by metasomatic dissolution structure,as well as veined and brecciated structures.The ore-forming process is divided into four stages,namely quartz-,pyrite-,polymetallic-and carbonate stages.Study on fluid inclusion shows that the deposit is composed of gas-liquid two-phase inclusions (Ⅰ) and three-phase inclusions containing CO2 (Ⅱ),and that the former dominates.The homogenization temperature is 259.6℃-373.7℃ ; the salinity of three-phase inclusions containing CO2is 5.77%-9.84% (NaCl) ; the salinity of gas-liquid two-phase inclusions is 6.58%-8.54% (NaCl) ; and the estimated ore-forming pressure is 55.2-82.2 MPa.According to the nonlinear relationship between the depth and pressure of the fluid in the fracture zone,the ore-forming depth of the Qilishan gold deposit is calculated as 5.95-7.14 km.It is preliminarily determined that the deposit is a mesophilic and hypothermal gold deposit.
文摘Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) fruit is an important component in arid and semi-arid diet regions of the world. The present study pointed out microbial investigating of date palm collected from National wholesale market in Fez city in the center north of Morocco. The results reveal that samples dates studied are contaminated by bacteria such as TAMF (total aerobic mesophilic flora), ASR (anaerobic sulfite reducing), yeasts and molds. The percentage of yeasts isolated is 50% for Saccharomyces cervisae, 10% for Zygosaccharomyces fermentati, 20% for Hansenula anomala, 10% for Lodderomyces elongisporus and 10% for Kluyveromyces fragilis. The frequency of molds distribution is 51% for Aspergillus niger, 33% for Penicillium notatum and 16% for Rhizopus oryzae. Newman and keuls grouping test shows that fungal germs distribution is equal for yeast and molds in all samples analyzed. In the opposite bacterial grouping test shows greet difference between groups of bacteria isolated from date's samples.

文摘Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology and geochemical analyses are undertaken for the garnet-bear-ing muscovite monzogranite in Yitong area, central Jilin Province. The formation age and petrogenesis of the granite are determined, and the regional tectonic background is discussed. Zircons from the granite are euhe-dral-subhedral in shape, and display fine-scale oscillatory growth zoning, indicating a magmatie origin. LA- ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating result indicates that the garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites formed in the mid-dle Triassic (243 Ma ). The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites have high SiO2 (SiO2 = 74.1%- 76.49% ), rich aluminum (A1203 = 14.47%-14.68% ) and alkali ( NazO + K20 = 4.31%-7.9% ), low Fe203T and MgO (MgO =0.1%-0. 13% , Fe203T =0.46%-1.02% ). The ratio of CaO/Na20 is between 0.17--0. 21. The garnet-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong region are relatively enriched in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs) , and depleted of heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) and high field strength elements (HFSEs). They are characterized by high Sr and Ba, poor Rb and Y, and negative Eu abnormally (δEu =0.48-0.62) , with Rb/Sr 〈 1. The εHf(t) values and TDM2 of zircons range from + 6. 10 to + 8.00 and from 725 Ma to 814 Ma, respectively. The above features indicate that gar- net-bearing muscovite monzogranites in Yitong area were derived from partial melting of metasedimentary rock. These granites have high Sr/Y ratios, which suggest they formed in a thickened continental crust. Combined with the coeval granitic rocks in central Jilin Province, we suggested that a significant eollisional and thickening event took place during the Middle Triassic.
文摘This study is a comparative research regarding English-only classes by native English speakers at the elementary schools in two countries, Korea and Taiwan. These two countries tried to introduce as well as adapt English education and policy toward globalization. First of all, the two initiated mandatory elementary English education and then acknowledged the significance of English CLT (Communication Language Teaching). Thus, curriculum and policy for English education based on globalization oriented to the introduction of English native speakers and English-only classes. Based on these situations, Korea created EPIK (English Program in Korea) and NEST (Native English Speaking Teacher) respectively for inviting English native teachers. In the similar educational conditions, the recognitions of elementary school students of Korea and Taiwan regarding on English-only classes by native English speakers showed the relatively meaningful results. Compared with Taiwan Residents students, first, Korean students have greater ability in understanding of English-only class. Second, Korean students respond that native English speaking teachers' class helps them improve English better. Third, Korean students tend to use Korean and English together to improve their understanding. Fourth, Korean students respond English-only class reduces fear about English. Fifth, Korean students experience less difficulties in communicating with native English speaking teachers due to culture differences. Korean elementary students relatively have a higher understanding rate about native English speaking teacher's class.

文摘The authors studied geochronology and geochemical data of the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite in the southern Zhangguangcai Range in order to determine its formation age,magma source,and tectonic environment. The results indicate that the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite was formed in the Middle Jurassic with an age of 168. 2 ± 2. 0 Ma( MSWD = 0. 93). The monzogranite was characterized by high alkali and low Ca O and Mg O,belonging to high-potassium calc-alkaline,metaluminous I-type granite. The rock is enriched in large ion lithophile elements such as Rb,Ba,and K and strongly depleted high field strength elements such as P,Ti,Nb,and Ta. It is concluded that the Songjianghe biotite monzogranite was derived from partial melting of amphibolite facies metamorphism mafic lower-crust and its formation was controlled by the Pacific Plate subduction.

文摘Fully grown oocytes of Apostichopus japonicus have a cytoplasmic protuberance where the oocyte attaches to the follicle. The protuberance and the oolamina located on the opposite side of the oocyte indicate the animal-vegetal axis. Two pre-meiotic centrosomes are anchored to the protuberance by microtubules between centrosomes and protuberance. After meiosis reinitiation induced by DTT solution, the germinal vesicle (GV) migrates towards the protuberance. The GV breaks down after it migrates to the oocyte membrane on the protuberance side. The protuberance then contracts back into the oocyte and the first polar body extrudes from the site of the former protuberance. The second polar body forms beneath the first. Thus the oocyte protuberance indicates the presumptive animal pole well before maturation of the oocyte.
文摘Objectives of this study were to investigate the efficacy of dexamethasone in combination with estradiol benzoate in controlled induction of parturition in heifers, especially in the subjects of retained fetal membranes and dystocia caused by fetal oversize. A total number of 100 Holstein-Friesian heifers aged 24-25 months, mean weight 450 kg and body condition score of 3-4 from a dairy herd located in the suburb of Tabriz with similar nutrition and management systems were allocated at random into two groups. Group A (Control, n = 50) heifers, after passing the minimum 270 d of pregnancy were injected with 30 mg dexamethasone IM. Group B (Treatment, n = 50) heifers with the same period of pregnancy received 30 mg dexamethasone plus 20 mg estradiol benzoate IM on the same days of pregnancy. The overall durations of initial treatments to induction of parturition were (41.50 ~ 2.65) h in group A and (37.50 :i: 1.27) h in group B. In group A, more dystocia cases were observed than in group B. After parturition, group A showed a higher percentage of retention of fetal membranes as well as the calf mortality and dystocia compared to group B. The differences between two groups were statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). In conclusion, our results indicate that induction of parturition by estradiol benzoate and dexamethasone together will be more effective than dexamethasone alone because of the less retention of fetal membranes, easy calving and shorter time from induction to parturition.
