The planning of dty fife stations is an important safeguard to improve the city fire security. Whetiief the planning is scientific and rational will affect the fire security of the entire dty directly. In this papei; road networks were built based on GIS, the service range of fire stations was calculated based on time cost, and the planning of fire stations in main districts of Hangzhou was evaluated in terms of security, efficiency,and balance The results showed that this planning made significant improvements in security and balance of fke fighting service provided by the main districts of Hangzhou, but few improvements were high in efficiency. On. tiie whole, Xiacheng District did the best job in fire control, and Xihu District was expected to make efforts to improve its fire security.展开更多
The intelligent vehicle network uses advanced information technology to establish an efficient integrated vehicle transport system, which has received great attention in industry and academia, lnternet of Vehicles (...The intelligent vehicle network uses advanced information technology to establish an efficient integrated vehicle transport system, which has received great attention in industry and academia, lnternet of Vehicles (loV) in an urban environment is operated in a wireless environment with high bit error rate and interference. In addition, the wireless link between vehicles is likely to be lost. All of this makes it an important challenge to provide reliable mobile routing in an urban traffic environment. In this paper, a reliable routing algorithm with network coding (RR_ NC) is proposed to solve the above problems. A routing node sequence is discovered in IoV from source to destination by multi-metric ant colony optimization algorithm (MACO), and then clusters are formed around every node in the sequence. By adding linear encoding into the transmission of data between vehicle's clusters, the RR_NC provides much more reliable transmission and can recover the original message in the event of disorder and loss of message. Simulations are taken under different scenarios, and the results prove that this novel algorithm can deliver the information more reliably between vehicles in real-time with lower data loss and communication overhead.展开更多

The review, then, moves to sustainable solutio...General as well as the municipal solid waste (MSW) management in Thailand is reviewed in this paper. Topics include the MSW generation, sources, composition and trends. The review, then, moves to sustainable solutions for MSW management and sustainable alternative approaches with an emphasis on an integrated MSW management. Information of waste in Thailand is also given at the beginning of this paper for better understanding of later contents. It is clear that no one single method of MSW disposal can deal with all materials in an environmentally sustainable way. As such, a suitable approach in MSW management should be an integrated approach that could deliver both environmental and economic sustainability. With increasing environmental concerns, the integrated MSW management system has a potential to maximize the useable waste materials as well as produce energy as a by-product. In Thailand, the compositions of waste (86%) are mainly organic waste, paper, plastic, glass and metal. As a result, the waste in Thailand is suitable for an integrated MSW management. Currently, the Thai national waste management policy starts to encourage the local administrations to gather into clusters, to establish central MSW disposal facilities with suitable technologies and reducing the disposal cost based on the amount of MSW generated.展开更多
