[Method] Thermotolerance gene was introduced into sensitive variety Ou17 by developing NILs and recurrent backcross,then through six generations of backcross,thermotolerance-assisted selection,and two generations of self-cross. [Result] Bombyx mori NILs carrying thermotolerance gene (new germplasm) were produced. Meanwhile,thermotolerance level of progenies of each backcross and molecular markers of NILs were determined,and then attempts were made to produce practical thermotolerance hybrids by using thermotolerance varieties whose thermotolerance gene is linked to SSR markers. [Conclusion] The study successfully construct thermotolerance NILs,monitor thermotolerance level and breeding results of progenies of each backcross,and determine molecular marker of NILs.展开更多

This paper briefl...The dry-hot valleys (DHV) are located mainly in the deeply incised v alleys along the upper streams of several international and domestically rivers, like Yangtz, Zhu, Lanchang, Hong, and Nu rivers. This paper briefly described t he reasons of formation of DHV from view of climate and geographical conditions, and by referring to great deal of documents, analyzed the historical case and p resent status of the vegetations in DHV. The environment in DHV is facing the se rious vulnerable period in the history due to its nature situation of half-year dry period, fragile geological structure and shallow soil, and its social situat ion of over dense population and over farming. The primary vegetation is broad l eaf forest and it was denuded in the history. The current local vegetation is th e degraded secondary vegetation: savanna and succulent thorny shrub. Since the e nvironmental situation in valley influenced directly the water body of river, th e soil erosion control and re-vegetation in DHV is the most urgent task in the p rocess of environmental harness along the rivers. Quite a few pilot research pro jects have been carried out.on demonstrating new silviculture techniques for re- vegetation in DHV, but there still exist great difficulties in carrying out larg e-scale afforestation engineering.展开更多

[Objective] The aim was to study the techniques for the tissue culture,rapid propagation and transplantation of Anthurium andraeanum.[Method] The leaf,leaf stalk,spathe and spadix of the pot flower variety and cut flo...[Objective] The aim was to study the techniques for the tissue culture,rapid propagation and transplantation of Anthurium andraeanum.[Method] The leaf,leaf stalk,spathe and spadix of the pot flower variety and cut flower variety of A.andraeanum were used as explants,in order to investigate the influences of the explants selection,disinfection conditions and different media on the callus induction,proliferation and rooting.[Result] The leaf stalk of A.andraeanum was the optimum explant,with the highest callus induction rate(78.3%).The best disinfecting effect could be obtained when the explants was sterilized with 0.1% HgCl2 for 8 min.The optimum media for the callus induction of Ping Champion and MIDORI were respectively 1/2 MS+1.50 mg/L 6-BA+0.50 mg/L 2,4-D+0.10 mg/L NAA and 1/2 MS+1.50 mg/L 6-BA+1.00 mg/L KT+0.10 mg/L 2,4-D,while the optimum media for callus subculture of Ping Champion and MIDORI were respectively MS+1.00 mg/L 6-BA+0.50 mg/L NAA+0.30 mg/L 2,4-D and MS+0.50 mg/L 6-BA+0.50 mg/L KT+0.10 mg/L NAA.It was beneficial for the proliferation and growth of cluster buds while 10%(w/v)of coconut water or banana jam was added to MS medium at the proliferation stage,and the proliferation rate could be increased by 2.83 fold.At the rooting stage,the medium 1/2 MS+0.10 mg/L NAA+0.10 mg/L IAA was the optimum medium for rooting,and the rooting rate was up to 100%.[Conservation] The research results will lay a foundation for the establishment of the industrial seedling breeding system of A.andraeanum,and it will be significant for the development of A.andraeanum industry.展开更多

A study was conducted to determine the influences of initial planting densities, thinning intensities, exposures and slope sites on physical property (wood density) and mechanical properties such as modulus of elast...A study was conducted to determine the influences of initial planting densities, thinning intensities, exposures and slope sites on physical property (wood density) and mechanical properties such as modulus of elasticity (MOE), bending strength, impact strength, compression strength along grain and hardness) of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica plantation in Mao'ershan Forest Farm, Northeast China. Results show that the different initial planting densities (1.5 m×1.0 m, 1.5 m×2.0 m and 1.5 m×2.5 m) had significant effects on wood density and MOE, and the highest mean wood density and indexes of mechanical properties occurred in the stand with an initial planting density of 1.5 m×1.0 m. The indexes of mechanical properties such as hardness of end, bending strength, MOE and compression strength along grain of wood increased after mild thinning, but decreased after violent thinning. The exposures (sunny slope and shady slope) had a significant effect on MOE, and the highest mean MOE occurred on sunny slope. The slope sites (upper site and lower site) had a significant effect on wood density and main mechanical properties, except hardness. [Method] With wild large-grain foxtail millet as an original material, foxtail millet variety Jicaog...[Objective] This study was conducted to solve the problem of the lacking of special forage foxtail millet varieties. [Method] With wild large-grain foxtail millet as an original material, foxtail millet variety Jicaogu 1 (S724) for forage use was bred. [Result] Jicaogu 1 has following outstanding characteristics: (1) high content of crude protein: quality detection showed that the millet straw had a high content of crude protein up to 9.8%; (2) high yields of fresh grass and hay: in field detection, the average yield of fresh grass was 58 308.15 kg/hm2, which was higher than Sicao 2 (35 763.00 kg/hm2) by 58.29%, and the hay yield was 15 922.65 kg/hm2, which was higher than Sicao 2 (11 548.05 kg/hm2) by 37.88%; and (3) biological characteristics: Jicaogu 1 shows young seedlings with a growth period of 122 d, a plant height of 198.22 cm, an ear length of 23.65 cm, a stem/leaf ratio of 1.43 and a fresh weight/dry weight ratio of 37.86, there are 2-3 tillers generally, and the seed yield is 3 383.40 kg/hm2. [Conclusion] Summer seeding in vacant field in North China or spring seeding in Inner Mongolia could be carried out with Jicaogu 1, which is also adapt to mechanized harvest. The development of forage foxtail millet could be promoted by strengthening the extension of Jicaogu 1.展开更多

It...Akebia is a wild fruit originating in the Yangtse river valley and the surrounding areas. It includes mainly three species (subspecies): Akebia trifoliata, Akebia trifoliata subsp, australis, and Akebia quinata. It has many good traits, such as large fruit size, early fruit-setting and high yield, excellent eating quality, and good environmental adaptability. However, there are some shortcomings with the fruit, including thick skin, excessive number of seeds, and relatively small proportion of edible flesh. Akebia is also a traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of relieving internal heat and diuresis, dredging venation and improving blood circulation, cleansing facial chloasma, detoxication and anti-cancer activities. Akebia can be used as fresh fruit, for processing, and for pharmaceutical purposes. We have been undertaking a series of research on the domestication and utilization of Akebia, including cultivar selection, techniques for cultivation, storage and processing, and related basic studies. A Chinese trade name “Hehuanguo” and an English trade name “Joyfruit” have been registered for Akebia to facilitate its commercial development.展开更多
[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at di...[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at different temperatures.During cultivation,varied initial feeds were put in to explore the optimal choice of hormones,temperature and initial feed.[Result] According to the test,fecundity of female loach is directly proportional to gonad maturity,namely,the higher gonad maturity,the more fecundity.For example,for a female loach whose maturity coefficient was 24%,absolute and relative fecundity rates were 62 142 and 990.In contrast,for a female whose maturity coefficient was 9%,the rates were 18 207 and 367,respectively.The induced effect differs upon hormones and the test demonstrated that LRH-A2 is better in improving fertility rate compared with HCG.For example,the fertility rate in the group with HCG was 78.84 and in the group with LRH-A2 was 83.04%.It is notable that the mixture of the two at a certain ratio would enhance induced effect and the fertility rate can be as high as 89.17%.With temperature in a certain range,the higher temperature,the better induced effect.The test indicated that water temperature at (30±0.5) ℃ is an optimal one and the effect horizon is 6-8 h.In group 4,induced rate was 93.33% and the fertility rate was 89.26%.The research indicated that the survival rate was the highest if wheel animalcule,dominated by Brachionus calyciflorus and Brachionus angularis,was taken as an initial feed,followed by artemia nauplii and corpuscule.In addition,loach fry in the group with yolk and wheel animalcule grew about 1.21 times than the group with only yolk,1.04 times than the group with only fairy shrimp,and 1.1 times than the group with fairy shrimp.[Conclusion] The research provides scientific references for scale loach farming.展开更多
This study was conducted for the purposes of reducing consumption of wild resources of Paris polyphylla Smith, satisfying the market demand, saving the production cost, improving utilization rate of forest land, incre...This study was conducted for the purposes of reducing consumption of wild resources of Paris polyphylla Smith, satisfying the market demand, saving the production cost, improving utilization rate of forest land, increasing income of foresters and protecting ecological environment. Three types of fores{ land, i.e., the evergreen forest land (China fir forest), deciduous forest land (walnut forest) and shrub land (honey suckle forest.) were selected, and seeds and cut rhizomes of Paris polyphylla Smith produced in Bamian Mountain, Hunan, were used in the study on understory seedling raising and cultivation techniques. The results showed that: when using different propagation materials, seed propagation could be adopted to reduce the consumption of wild resources and provide a large number of seedlings, and was beneficial to large-scale planting; and when conducing seedling and plantlet raising followed by transplanting and direct seeding and planting using different propagation materials in large-scale understory cultivation, direct seeding/ planting was appropriate for saving save production cost with the advantage of early production. Among the 3 different types of forest land, the best choice was broad- leaved forest land, which could achieve better economic benefit because of con- forming with the ecological habit and growth and development law of Paris poly- phylla Smith.展开更多

The results indicate that germination of the second taro happened from 46 d after sprouting (7-8 leaves); the first taro began to expand, from 125 d after sprouting (12 leaves) when the the second taro was been formed; the third taro began to form from 141 to 150 d after sprouting (15-16 leaves). The fresh weight of the second and third taros quickly increased from the time of 15 leaves to harvest. Early September is a transformation term of Xiangsha taro from vegetative body dominant to corm growth dominant.展开更多
Shuangyou 092, a Brassica napus cultivar with high oil content, high quality and high yield, was bred by Institute of Industrial Crops of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences with Zhongshuang 9 as female parent, and...Shuangyou 092, a Brassica napus cultivar with high oil content, high quality and high yield, was bred by Institute of Industrial Crops of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences with Zhongshuang 9 as female parent, and the cytoplasmic male sterility maintainer line 32B as male parent. It was registered and released in 2014. The average yield was 2 858.5 kg/hm^2 in Henan province regional test of high quality, 12.43% higher than the check variety Fengyou 9 in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Its yield was 3 478.8 kg/ha in Henan Province productive test of high quality,9.52% higher than the check variety Fengyou 9 in 2012-2013. According to the test results in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013, the seeds quality of Shuangyou 092 was very good with near zero erucic acid (0.0%, 0.1%) in fat acid, 17.19 μmol/g and 19.78 μmol/g glucosinolates in its meal, the oil content of 46.60% and 45.76%. The cultivar was resistant (tolerant) to Sclerotinia, virus diseases, cold, and lodging. Its high yield and high quality can be obtained by planting in large scale, sowing at right time, rational close planting, balancing fertilizer and harvesting at right time.展开更多

Changes in the pattern of organization of microtubules in the meiotic stages of development of pollen (i.e. from pre-meiotic interphase to more or less metaphase I) of a normal (IR36) and a temperature/photoperiod sen...Changes in the pattern of organization of microtubules in the meiotic stages of development of pollen (i.e. from pre-meiotic interphase to more or less metaphase I) of a normal (IR36) and a temperature/photoperiod sensitive male sterile line (Peiai 64S) of rice were studied using immunofluorescence confocal microscopy. In IR36, from pre-meiotic interphase to metaphase I, the pattern of microtubule distribution in the meiocytes underwent a series of changes. Some new organizational patterns of microtubules (that have not been described before) were observed during microsporogenesis, including the existence of a broad band of perinuclear microtubules at the diakinesis stage of development. The pattern of microtubule distribution in the meiocytes of the male sterile line, Peiai 64S, was quite different front that seen in IR36. In Peiai 64S, the microtubules showed abnormal patterns of distribution from pre-meiotic interphase to metaphase I. For example the broad band of perinuclear microtubules seen at diakinesis in IR36 was much disorganized and loosened in Peiai 64S. The spindles formed were also very abnormal and different from the normal spindle. The appearance of abnormal microtubule distribution in the early stages of microsporogenesis may contribute to the malformation and ultimate abortion of pollen in Peiai 64S.展开更多

[Result] Jicaogu 1 has following outstanding characteristics: (1) high content of crude protein: quality detection showed that the millet straw had a high content of crude protein up to 9.8%; (2) high yields of fresh grass and hay: in field detection, the average yield of fresh grass was 58 308.15 kg/hm2, which was higher than Sicao 2 (35 763.00 kg/hm2) by 58.29%, and the hay yield was 15 922.65 kg/hm2, which was higher than Sicao 2 (11 548.05 kg/hm2) by 37.88%; and (3) biological characteristics: Jicaogu 1 shows young seedlings with a growth period of 122 d, a plant height of 198.22 cm, an ear length of 23.65 cm, a stem/leaf ratio of 1.43 and a fresh weight/dry weight ratio of 37.86, there are 2-3 tillers generally, and the seed yield is 3 383.40 kg/hm2. [Conclusion] Summer seeding in vacant field in North China or spring seeding in Inner Mongolia could be carried out with Jicaogu 1, which is also adapt to mechanized harvest. The development of forage foxtail millet could be promoted by strengthening the extension of Jicaogu 1.
文摘Akebia is a wild fruit originating in the Yangtse river valley and the surrounding areas. It includes mainly three species (subspecies): Akebia trifoliata, Akebia trifoliata subsp, australis, and Akebia quinata. It has many good traits, such as large fruit size, early fruit-setting and high yield, excellent eating quality, and good environmental adaptability. However, there are some shortcomings with the fruit, including thick skin, excessive number of seeds, and relatively small proportion of edible flesh. Akebia is also a traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of relieving internal heat and diuresis, dredging venation and improving blood circulation, cleansing facial chloasma, detoxication and anti-cancer activities. Akebia can be used as fresh fruit, for processing, and for pharmaceutical purposes. We have been undertaking a series of research on the domestication and utilization of Akebia, including cultivar selection, techniques for cultivation, storage and processing, and related basic studies. A Chinese trade name “Hehuanguo” and an English trade name “Joyfruit” have been registered for Akebia to facilitate its commercial development.
文摘[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at different temperatures.During cultivation,varied initial feeds were put in to explore the optimal choice of hormones,temperature and initial feed.[Result] According to the test,fecundity of female loach is directly proportional to gonad maturity,namely,the higher gonad maturity,the more fecundity.For example,for a female loach whose maturity coefficient was 24%,absolute and relative fecundity rates were 62 142 and 990.In contrast,for a female whose maturity coefficient was 9%,the rates were 18 207 and 367,respectively.The induced effect differs upon hormones and the test demonstrated that LRH-A2 is better in improving fertility rate compared with HCG.For example,the fertility rate in the group with HCG was 78.84 and in the group with LRH-A2 was 83.04%.It is notable that the mixture of the two at a certain ratio would enhance induced effect and the fertility rate can be as high as 89.17%.With temperature in a certain range,the higher temperature,the better induced effect.The test indicated that water temperature at (30±0.5) ℃ is an optimal one and the effect horizon is 6-8 h.In group 4,induced rate was 93.33% and the fertility rate was 89.26%.The research indicated that the survival rate was the highest if wheel animalcule,dominated by Brachionus calyciflorus and Brachionus angularis,was taken as an initial feed,followed by artemia nauplii and corpuscule.In addition,loach fry in the group with yolk and wheel animalcule grew about 1.21 times than the group with only yolk,1.04 times than the group with only fairy shrimp,and 1.1 times than the group with fairy shrimp.[Conclusion] The research provides scientific references for scale loach farming.

文摘This study was conducted for the purposes of reducing consumption of wild resources of Paris polyphylla Smith, satisfying the market demand, saving the production cost, improving utilization rate of forest land, increasing income of foresters and protecting ecological environment. Three types of fores{ land, i.e., the evergreen forest land (China fir forest), deciduous forest land (walnut forest) and shrub land (honey suckle forest.) were selected, and seeds and cut rhizomes of Paris polyphylla Smith produced in Bamian Mountain, Hunan, were used in the study on understory seedling raising and cultivation techniques. The results showed that: when using different propagation materials, seed propagation could be adopted to reduce the consumption of wild resources and provide a large number of seedlings, and was beneficial to large-scale planting; and when conducing seedling and plantlet raising followed by transplanting and direct seeding and planting using different propagation materials in large-scale understory cultivation, direct seeding/ planting was appropriate for saving save production cost with the advantage of early production. Among the 3 different types of forest land, the best choice was broad- leaved forest land, which could achieve better economic benefit because of con- forming with the ecological habit and growth and development law of Paris poly- phylla Smith.

文摘The growth and development of Jingjiang Taro [Colocasia esculenta(L.) Schott] were observed, laying foundation for highly-yielding cultivation technology system of Xiangsha taro. The results indicate that germination of the second taro happened from 46 d after sprouting (7-8 leaves); the first taro began to expand, from 125 d after sprouting (12 leaves) when the the second taro was been formed; the third taro began to form from 141 to 150 d after sprouting (15-16 leaves). The fresh weight of the second and third taros quickly increased from the time of 15 leaves to harvest. Early September is a transformation term of Xiangsha taro from vegetative body dominant to corm growth dominant.
文摘Shuangyou 092, a Brassica napus cultivar with high oil content, high quality and high yield, was bred by Institute of Industrial Crops of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences with Zhongshuang 9 as female parent, and the cytoplasmic male sterility maintainer line 32B as male parent. It was registered and released in 2014. The average yield was 2 858.5 kg/hm^2 in Henan province regional test of high quality, 12.43% higher than the check variety Fengyou 9 in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Its yield was 3 478.8 kg/ha in Henan Province productive test of high quality,9.52% higher than the check variety Fengyou 9 in 2012-2013. According to the test results in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013, the seeds quality of Shuangyou 092 was very good with near zero erucic acid (0.0%, 0.1%) in fat acid, 17.19 μmol/g and 19.78 μmol/g glucosinolates in its meal, the oil content of 46.60% and 45.76%. The cultivar was resistant (tolerant) to Sclerotinia, virus diseases, cold, and lodging. Its high yield and high quality can be obtained by planting in large scale, sowing at right time, rational close planting, balancing fertilizer and harvesting at right time.

文摘[Objective] This study was to investigate the in vitro culture of unfertilized ovary of strawberry.[Methods] Employing single factor experiment,we investigated six key factors including genotype,extrinsic hormone,sucrose concentration,low temperature pretreatment,growth environment and development status,and illumination condition on induction of gynogenesis in vitro of unfertilized ovary,on the induction of gynogenesis in vitro of unfertilized ovary.[Results] The optimal conditions for in vitro culture of unfertilized ovary of strawberry were as follows:the primary flower buds cultured on bare land as explants,selection of appropriate genotype,2,4-D as external hormone,sucrose at the concentration of 6%,low temperature pretreatment for 48 hours and dark culture under alternated temperature.[Conclusion] The research provided reference for ploidy breeding in strawberry.
文摘Changes in the pattern of organization of microtubules in the meiotic stages of development of pollen (i.e. from pre-meiotic interphase to more or less metaphase I) of a normal (IR36) and a temperature/photoperiod sensitive male sterile line (Peiai 64S) of rice were studied using immunofluorescence confocal microscopy. In IR36, from pre-meiotic interphase to metaphase I, the pattern of microtubule distribution in the meiocytes underwent a series of changes. Some new organizational patterns of microtubules (that have not been described before) were observed during microsporogenesis, including the existence of a broad band of perinuclear microtubules at the diakinesis stage of development. The pattern of microtubule distribution in the meiocytes of the male sterile line, Peiai 64S, was quite different front that seen in IR36. In Peiai 64S, the microtubules showed abnormal patterns of distribution from pre-meiotic interphase to metaphase I. For example the broad band of perinuclear microtubules seen at diakinesis in IR36 was much disorganized and loosened in Peiai 64S. The spindles formed were also very abnormal and different from the normal spindle. The appearance of abnormal microtubule distribution in the early stages of microsporogenesis may contribute to the malformation and ultimate abortion of pollen in Peiai 64S.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to observe embryogenesis and development of isolated microspores of Raphanus sativus.[Method] By using Chinese radish variety Shandong Huaye Xinlimei as the experimental materials,the caryocinesia features and development of isolated microspores in radish were studied.[Result] Two types of cell division appeared in the isolated microspore:unequal division and equational division.The unequal divided microspores had two different size nucleuses,while the equational divided microspores had two same size nucleuses.The equational divided microspores developed to 4-cell structure,multi-cell structure,ball-shaped embryos,heart-shaped embryos,torpedo-stage embryos and cotyledon-stage embryos.[Conclusion] This result will provide cytological basis for the isolated microspore culture of radish.
