现代教育环境下理论课教学中“多媒体语言”的运用与思考

Processing and optimization of UMQL-based multimedia queries

Through the mapping from UMQL ( unified multimedia query language) conditional expressions to UMQA (unified multimedia query algebra) query operations, a translation algorithm from a UMQL query to a UMQA query pla... Through the mapping from UMQL ( unified multimedia query language) conditional expressions to UMQA (unified multimedia query algebra) query operations, a translation algorithm from a UMQL query to a UMQA query plan is put forward, which can generate an equivalent UMQA internal query plan for any UMQL query. Then, to improve the execution costs of UMQA query plans effectively, equivalent UMQA translation formulae and general optimization strategies are studied, and an optimization algorithm for UMQA internal query plans is presented. This algorithm uses equivalent UMQA translation formulae to optimize query plans, and makes the optimized query plans accord with the optimization strategies as much as possible. Finally, the logic implementation methods of UMQA plans, i.e., logic implementation methods of UMQA operators, are discussed to obtain useful target data from a muifirnedia database. All of these algorithms are implemented in a UMQL prototype system. Application results show that these query processing techniques are feasible and applicable. 展开更多

For a long time, inefficiency exists in teaching or learning. Under the learning environment surrounded by native speakers, English, as a symbolic system, appears dull, or even because there is no information given appropriate experience and it becomes abstract. Many students are reluctant to learn after learning for a time, because it is difficult for reality, and it is not easy to consolidate, that 45 minutes of English learning environment also appears to be a little frustrated, as many students who have been admitted to the University said during the learning process of the entire university, they spent seventy percent of their energy to foreign language learning rather than their own major. This not only illustrates the importance of English teaching but also shows its difficult nature, the main reason is our bad English language teaching environment, there is a lack of communication in English language environment, however, the network information and the development of modern multimedia technology has greatly improve the English teaching environment. Unquestionably, anyone born to Urhobo parents, being biologically Urhobo, should speak the Urhobo language. But does everybody born by an Urhobo parent speak Urhobo? From our observation, the answer to this question ... Unquestionably, anyone born to Urhobo parents, being biologically Urhobo, should speak the Urhobo language. But does everybody born by an Urhobo parent speak Urhobo? From our observation, the answer to this question is clearly "no". Many of the Urhobo people in the Diaspora as well as those at home have chosen to shift from their own language to other languages. Hence Urhobo language has gradually acquired the status of a second language. Therefore, its teaching would also veer away from language teaching methods that are used for first languages. Based on Noam Chomsky's theory of Generative Grammar, aspects of the Urhobo grammar will be treated as we present specifically the verb "edia"/"to be". As it is, it is being presented as a second language bearing in mind the great population of Urhobo people in the Diaspora as well as Mowarin's "miguo generation" of Urhobo children back home in Urhobo land. This being so, the methods applied in this study are the Grammar Translation Method Approach as well as the Direct Method Approach.
