After the introduction of the basic theory, the function model, classifications and mathematical methods of MSIF, a structural damage detection method based on MSIF is presented, which is to fuse two or more damage character vectors from different structural damage diagnosis methods on the character-level. In an experiment of concrete plates, modal information is measured and analyzed. The structural damage detection method based on MSIF is taken to localize cracks of concrete plates and it is proved to be effective. Results of damage detection by the method based on MSIF are compared with those from the modal strain energy method and the flexibility method. Damage, which can hardly be detected by using the single damage identification method, can be diagnosed by the damage detection method based on the character-level MSIF technique. Meanwhile multi-location damage can be identified by the method based on MSIF. This method is sensitive to structural damage and different mathematical methods for MSIF have different preconditions and applicabilities for diversified structures. How to choose mathematical methods for MSIF should be discussed in detail in health monitoring systems of actual structures.展开更多

However,the information is modeled and fused traditionally in particular,name some of the known theories: evidential,fuzzy sets,possibilistic,rough sets or conditional events,etc. For several years,researchers have explored the unification of theories enabling the fusion of multisource information and have finally considered random set theory as a powerful mathematical tool. This paper attempts to overall review the close relationships between random set theory and other theories,and introduce recent research results which present how different types of information can be dealt with in this unified framework. According to the characteristics of "large volume", "species diversity", "sparse value density", "fast speed" of the power big data, a prediction model of multi-source information fusion for large data is established, the fusion prediction of various parameters of the same object is realized. A combined algorithm of Map Reduce and neural network is used in this paper. Using clustering and nonlinear mapping ability of neural network, it can effectively solve the problem of nonlinear objective function approximation, and neural network is applied to the prediction of fusion. In this paper, neural network model using multi layer feed forward network--BP neural network. Simultaneously, to achieve large-scale data sets in parallel computing, the parallelism and real-time property of the algorithm should be considered, further combined with Reduce Map model, to realize the parallel processing of the algorithm, making it more suitable for the study of the fusion of large data. And finally, through simulation, it verifies the feasibility of the proposed model and algorithm.展开更多
