The ZnO architecture is assembled with ultra thin sheets, which consist of numbers of nanoparticles and pores, and the size of the nanoparticles can be controlled by adjusting the electrodepo- sition time or calcination temperature. It is worth noting that this synthetic method can provide an effective route for other porous metal oxide nanostructure films. Moreover, the photocatalytic performance shows the porous ZnO is an ideal photocatalyst. 展开更多

A Y-zeolite-containing composite material with micro/mesoporous structure had been synthesized from kaolin by means of the in-situ crystallization method. A Y-zeolite-containing composite material with micro/mesoporous structure had been synthesized from kaolin by means of the in-situ crystallization method. The obtained samples were investigated by XRD and BET methods. Evaluation of catalytic activity of both the commercial Y-zeolite and the novel Y-zeolite-containing composite material was carried out in the pulse micro-chromatography platform with two probe molecules of different molecular sizes: VGO feedstock and 1,3,5 tri-isopropyl benzene. It was found that the Y-zeolite-containing composite material was richer in external surface and meso-/macro-pores; the Y-zeolite-containing composite material demonstrated a smaller rate of deactivation compared to the commercial Y-zeolite. 展开更多

Here, a simple post-synthesis procedure has been developed to synthesize SBA-15 with further expanded pore diameter to above 10 nm simply by a solvothermal treatment replacing traditional hydrothermal step for mesopore template removal, which results in efficient pore expansion and the significantly promoted condensation of silica framework as well. This facile approach is believed applicable for pore expansions of other kinds of mesoporous silica materials. 展开更多

The coefficient of thermal diffusivity has been assumed to be the sum of the molecular diffusivity and the dynamic diffusivity due to mechanical dispersion. The effects of transverse magnetic field parameter (Hartmann number Ha), Reynolds number Re (different velocities), Prandtl number Pr (different types of fluids) and dispersion parameter on the wall shear stress and the heat transfer rate are discussed. 展开更多
