西学“存在论”与中学“本体论”

Ontology是西方哲学的核心概念,可称为西学“存在论”,“本体”则是中国哲学的核心概念,有关“本体”的思想即是中学的“本体论”。以“本体论”译Ontology并不确切,但不能由于约定俗成的译名的不确切而否定中学“本体论”思想的存在。西方传统Ontology作为“是论”与中学精神比较隔膜,而西方哲学“传统本体论”向“现代存在论”的转换,则为西学“存在论”和中学“本体论”的深层次比较提供了契机。

论中国共产党人的“存在论”自觉

哲学自觉是一个政党思想上成熟的重要标志,而“存在论”自觉是哲学自觉的思想前提。中国共产党从接受马克思主义起,就注重从哲学的层面理解和把握马克思主义,并逐步构筑起自己的“存在论”基础。马克思通过“存在论”革命开启了“关于现实的人及其历史发展”的新的哲学范式;中国共产党始终把马克思主义作为自己的信仰和认识工具,在推进马克思主义中国化的过程中不断实现自身的哲学自觉;以习近平为代表的新时代中国共产党人赓续了中国共产党百年奋斗的精神血脉,承袭了一百多年来马克思主义中国化的思想传统,不断推进具有鲜明时代特点和当代实践内涵的马克思主义理论创新,进一步增强了当代中国共产党人的“存在论”自觉。

存在与本质之争

美学在现代经历了传统本体论的转换,“存在论”美学与“本质论”美学之间的对峙似乎要达到前者对后者的消解。文章试图在论述这一转变过程的同时,阐述“存在”与“本质”的关系,以便对这一问题作出一定的解答,并对后现代现象略作评述。

Bipolar Theory of MOS Field-Effect Transistors and Experiments

The bipolar theory of field-effect transistor is introduced to replace the 55-year-old classic unipolar theory invented by Shockley in 1952 in order to account for the characteristics observed in recent double-gate nanometer silicon MOS field-effect transistors. Two electron and two hole surface channels are simultaneously present in all channel current ranges. Output and transfer characteristics are computed over practical base and gate oxide thicknesses. The bipolar theory corroborates well with experimental data reported recently for FinFETs with metal/silicon and p/n junction source/drain contacts. Single-device realization of CMOS inverter and SRAM memory circuit functions are recognized.

By utilizing a fixed point theorem on cone, some new results on the existence ofpositive periodic solutions for nonautonomous differential equations with delay are derived.

ON THE EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR THE THIRD-ORDER NONLINEAR ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Abstract In this paper,the existence of periodic solution for the third order nonlinear ordinary differential equation of the form x…+f()+g()+h(x)=p(t) is considered,where f,g,h and p are the continuous functions,and p(t+T)=p(t). By using the Leray Schauder degree method,some sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of T periodic solution for the equation are obtained.Some previous results are extended and improved.

A Brief Analysis of the Non-commercial Forest Compensation System in China

The non-commercial forest is an important natural resource protecting the environment and contributing to the sustainable development of a nation. Due to its crucial positive external effects, it is inevitable policy that non-commercial forestry should be invested by government, thereby formulates the non-commercial forestry compensation system. This paper first discusses the theoretical basis of non-commercial forestry compensation system and the process of establishment of non-commercial forestry compensation system in China, and then analyzes the deficiency in the current compensation system.

Interaction of Units and Research Methods of Control Performances of Distributed Manufacturing Information System

In order to analyze the function demand of the distributed manufacturing information system as well as its control demand, and eliminate information ambiguity among system units to integrate semantics, the abstract Agent model and computational structure of each unit was presented based on flexible coupling automata. The autonomy of each unit was investigated in this foundation. The system unit was described using the Web Ontology Language (OWL) ontology. And the system semantics was also integrated. On these basics the communication among the system units was analyzed with an example of interaction between a machine and a warehouse. The control performances of information system units were investigated using Boolean matrix as a substitute for traditional process in RW theory, which reduced the computational complexity. This work established the foundation for the demand analysis, design and development of the distributed manufacture information system.

Escaping and Transforming Consciousness, Emotions, and Body

＂Emotion is a specific manner of apprehending the world＂ and transforming the world rather than an ＂accidental modification of a subject who is surrounded by an unchanged world,＂ according to Jean-Paul Sartre. Both Sketch for a Theory of the Emotions and Being and Nothingness set out to investigate these relationships in broadly two ways. One, consciousness of the world of others is experienced through our emotions （anger, fear, shame, and pride for instance） as a body that escapes our grasp in being-seen-by-another. Two, we apprehend the world through our emotions in the process of magical transformation （for example, fear, melancholy, and sadness）. This paper examines emotions on two levels： how we experience our ontological state as being-for-itself-in-itself and being-in-the-world-for-others; and how we conceive emotions as ＂magic＂ changing its relationship with the world ＂so that the world should change its qualities.＂ What is of critical interest here is the relationship between consciousness and emotions. Situating this discussion in the context of Satre＇s critique on psychology, it proceeds to advance his existential psychoanalysis, starting with establishing a place for emotions and concluding with its transformative power to escape their situations.

The History Continues： Reflections About the Theory of the End of History From Francis Fukuyama

Fukuyama＇s thesis about ＂the end of history＂ is controversial. History is not an ideology. History cannot be ended, if by history we mean the past, which we remember and interpret for the purpose of orientating ourselves in the present and the future. Fukuyama has a right to declare the victory of liberal democracy, but other political ideologies have not become extinct. If we look at the thesis of the ＂end of history＂ from a scientific point of view, then we can conclude that such a thing is impossible： for after the ＂end of history＂, history continues. Therefore, there is no real end to history. It is continuing a quarter of a century after the Fukyama＇s thesis was published. Even if we can accept the thesis of the end of history as an ideology, we still cannot accept the end of philosophy. Phenomenology, Critical Realism, Existentialist Philosophy Hermeneutics, Structuralism, etc. are just some of the evidence that contemporary philosophy continues to exist and evolve despite the rising and falling of various ideologies in the twentieth century and the early twenty-first century. This can also be said about art, culture, and history as a science

The Historical Forms of Materialism and the Philosophical Domain of Historical Materialism

Natural materialism, humanistic materialism and historical materialism are the three historical forms of materialism. The ＂material＂ in historical materialism is a social thing which is ＂perceptible and imperceptible by the senses＂ and connotes social relations; and the ＂history＂ in historical materialism is the realm in which contradictions between man and nature and between man and society are able to unfold, so historical materialism is ＂actually a critical view of the world＂ that inherently contains dialectics in a ＂rational form.＂ The formulation of historical materialism opened a new path for the development of materialism and even philosophy as a whole. In the course of its critique of capitalist society, which unfolds with capital as a core category, historical materialism sublates abstract existence and discovers real social existence, thus putting an end to metaphysics, which is grounded in abstract ontology.

TRAVELING WAVE SOLUTIONS FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR DISPERSIVE EQUATIONS

The method of the phase plane is emploied to investigate the solitary and periodic traveling waves for a class of nonlinear dispersive partial differential equations.By using the bifurcation theory of dynamical systems to do qualitative analysis,all possible phase portraits in the parametric space for the traveling wave systems are obtained.It can be shown that the existence of a singular straight line in the traveling wave system is the reason why smooth solitary wave solutions converge to solitary cusp wave solution when parameters are varied.The different parameter conditions for the existence of solitary and periodic wave solutions of different kinds are rigorously determined.

Existence results for degenerate p(x)-Laplace equations with Leray-Lions type operators

We show the existence and multiplicity of solutions to degenerate p(x)-Laplace equations with Leray-Lions type operators using direct methods and critical point theories in Calculus of Variations and prove the uniqueness and nonnegativeness of solutions when the principal operator is monotone and the nonlinearity is nonincreasing. Our operator is of the most general form containing all previous ones and we also weaken assumptions on the operator and the nonlinearity to get the above results. Moreover, we do not impose the restricted condition on p(x) and the uniform monotonicity of the operator to show the existence of three distinct solutions.

Quasi-periodic Solutions for the Derivative Nonlinear Schrdinger Equation with Finitely Differentiable Nonlinearities

The authors are concerned with a class of derivative nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation iu_t + u_(xx) + i?f(u, ū, ωt)u_x=0,(t, x) ∈ R × [0, π],subject to Dirichlet boundary condition, where the nonlinearity f(z1, z2, ?) is merely finitely differentiable with respect to all variables rather than analytic and quasi-periodically forced in time. By developing a smoothing and approximation theory, the existence of many quasi-periodic solutions of the above equation is proved.

Degenerate Nonlinear Elliptic Equations Lacking in Compactness

In this paper, the authors prove the existence of solutions for degenerate elliptic equations of the form-div(a(x)▽_p u(x)) = g(λ, x, |u|^(p-2)u) in R^N, where ▽_pu =|▽u|^(p-2)▽u and a(x) is a degenerate nonnegative weight. The authors also investigate a related nonlinear eigenvalue problem obtaining an existence result which contains information about the location and multiplicity of eigensolutions. The proofs of the main results are obtained by using the critical point theory in Sobolev weighted spaces combined with a Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg-type inequality and by using a specific minimax method, but without making use of the Palais-Smale condition.
