文化生产还是文化再生产?——“学一代”与“学二代”的教育冲突与反思

本研究以10位“学一代”及其部分“学二代”子女为研究对象,借助深度访谈和自传社会学方法,探究代际流动中的“学一代”发展历程及其对下一代教养实践的影响。研究发现,“学一代”在个人发展历程中形成了“吃过苦”、恢复高考及社会地位变迁的集体记忆,这些集体记忆影响了其对“学二代”的教养实践,具体体现在对“学二代”的吃苦式培育、重视教育及精心规划学业等方面。但在“学一代”对“学二代”的教养实践中,存在一种代际间的反差,造成文化生产与文化再生产的对峙。研究认为,代际流动具有双向性,“学一代”应进一步反思“学二代”的自身情况和需求,助力“学二代”全面发展。

Motivating in the Production-Oriented Approach:From Theory to Practice

Motivating is the most creative phase of the Production-Oriented Approach(POA),making it different from other teaching approaches from the outset.This study aims to introduce the theory of motivating and its application to College English teaching practice by adopting dialectal research(DR).First,it gives an overall introduction to motivating,including its function,steps,and categories.Then it demonstrates two rounds of motivating practice in teaching College English by using the POA-based textbook iEnglish.The first round of motivating practice mainly focuses on how to follow the three steps of motivating in a specific case,namely,the teacher providing scenarios,the students trying out the productive activity,and the teacher explaining the productive objectives.The second round attempts to apply the criteria of motivating effectiveness to practice,namely,authentic communication,cognitive challenges and appropriate productive objectives.Furthermore,the teaching effectiveness of the motivating practice is appraised by both the teacher’s and students’retrospective evaluations.Finally,some suggestions for motivating design and future research are proposed.

Feasibility of a finger prick-based self-testing kit in first- and second-degree relatives of children with coeliac disease

AIM:To assess feasibility of a finger prick-based kit as method for self-testing of first and second-degree relatives of coeliac disease (CD) patients. METHODS:A total number of 379 subjects were invited to participate in this study,consisting of 197 first- degree and 182 second-degree relatives of CD patients. The self-testing kit (BiocardTM) was sent out with included instructions for use. Completed tests were sent back to the study coordinator for assessment. RESULTS:One hundred and ninety-six invited relatives carried out the BiocardTM test at home. Amongst these,70% were children. In 97% of the cases the test was performed correctly. Three tests revealed a positive result,all of which were later confirmed by serology and histology as coeliac disease.CONCLUSION:Our study indicates that BiocardTM test is a reliable,easy to use and well-accepted tool for home testing of first- and second-degree relatives of CD patients.

On Importance of Posters in Psychological Warfare Dissemination

Posters are an usual means of wartime disseminating psychological warfare. In World War I and World War II and even the cold war period, it obtained a good performance, so its importance is self-evident. However, with the high-end development of modern science and technology, Intemet transmission replace and people＇ s self-cognition awakening, the psychological warfare dissemination means of simply by posters to expand influence has become obsolete, but it doesn＇ t mean that we don＇ t need these means. Most of the time, in such a complex social environment and interpersonal environment, the most original and most straightforward method is the most likely weapon to move people＇ s thought. This paper reviews the posters in World War I, World War II and cold war period in disseminating psychological warfare success to illustrate the importance of this means in wartime psychological warfare dissemination process. At the same time, it analyzes the feature of modern dissemination psychological warfare, mining new communication means with traditional publicity method and re-constructing the function application of posters in dissemination psychological warfare and other business expanding.
