马克思“对象性”思维方式研究的重要意义--马克思唯物史观制定的方法论研究

"对象性"思维方式是马克思在《1844年经济学哲学手稿》中批判黑格尔思辨辩证法提出和使用的。"对象性"思维方式表示的是与1843年《批判手稿》对黑格尔《法哲学原理》不同的又一次"头足倒置"的批判。这次批判的重要特点,使唯物史观的制定从市民社会进到政治经济学;所以,是历史观启开经济学大门的一把钥匙。"对象性"思维方式在内容上体现了两个特点:一是研究对象的具体性,马克思称为"严格现实主义的";二是辩证法关注的是揭示事物发展的历史规律。马克思称自己的辩证法为"科学辩证法",以便与黑格尔的只注重观念与逻辑的思辨辩证法相对立。"对象性"思维方式是与唯物史观理论制定的"推广论""应用说"根本对立的。

仪式音乐表演民族志旨在揭示并阐释仪式表演过程中,执仪者脑海中的音乐文化观念模式--音乐象征符号("归属性"模型/models of)如何经由表演转化为一系列音声景观(Sound scape)与符号表征("对象性"模型/models for)的过程。从仪式音乐表演民族志视角审视瑜伽焰口仪式音乐,可深入探究文化主体内在的文化精神与观念构型,由此揭示出仪式行为及其产品--仪式表演行为与仪式音乐之间的深层关联,进而达到对表演语境(contexts)与社会结构的整体认知,实现文化的阐释。瑜伽焰口仪式音乐表演,犹如一部内容宏富、形式综合的仪式音乐剧,具有虚拟性、艺术性、功能性与音声两极渐变性等特征,观察其仪式表演中所呈现的象征符号与符号表征,阐释其隐喻的文化义涵,揭示出一整套佛教"三密合一"、阈限期等文化观念模型主导下的仪式音乐符号表达系统。

Study of Object Oriented Petri Net and Its Application in Flexible Manufacturing Cells

This paper presents an object oriented Petri net (OOPN) schema to model the dynamic behaviors of a flexible manufacturing cells (FMCs). The OOPN paradigm incorporates the characteristics of a Petri net and OOP. It increases the maintainability and reusability of objects in Petri net modeling, thus it has more powerful modeling and analysis abilities.

A Study of Language Sexism from Linguistic Asymmetry

Sexism of language can be defined as prejudice or discrimination against people, especially women, showing in actual language use. This paper attempts to explore sexism in language system through examining various asymmetric phenomena in language forms, word meanings and address forms.

Motion connectivity-based initial video object extraction

In order to obtain the initial video objects from the video sequences, an improved initial video object extraction algorithm based on motion connectivity is proposed. Moving objects in video sequences are highly connected and structured, which makes motion connectivity an advanced feature for segmentation. Accordingly, after sharp noise elimination, the cumulated difference image, which exhibits the coherent motion of the moving object, is adaptively thresholded. Then the maximal connected region is labeled, post-processed and output as the final segmenting mask. Hence the initial video object is effectively extracted. Comparative experimental results show that the proposed algorithm extracts the initial video object automatically, promptly and properly, thereby achieving satisfactory subjective and objective performance.

Gender Recognition with Face Images Based on Partially Connected Neural Evolutionary

In this paper,a new type of neural network model - Partially Connected Neural Evolutionary (PARCONE) was introduced to recognize a face gender. The neural network has a mesh structure in which each neuron didn't connect to all other neurons but maintain a fixed number of connections with other neurons. In training,the evolutionary computation method was used to improve the neural network performance by change the connection neurons and its connection weights. With this new model,no feature extraction is needed and all of the pixels of a sample image can be used as the inputs of the neural network. The gender recognition experiment was made on 490 face images (245 females and 245 males from Color FERET database),which include not only frontal faces but also the faces rotated from-40°-40° in the direction of horizontal. After 300-600 generations' evolution,the gender recognition rate,rejection rate and error rate of the positive examples respectively are 96.2%,1.1%,and 2.7%. Furthermore,a large-scale GPU parallel computing method was used to accelerate neural network training. The experimental results show that the new neural model has a better pattern recognition ability and may be applied to many other pattern recognitions which need a large amount of input information.

Revisiting Asymmetry for the Decaying Phases of El Ni?o and La Ni?a

This study investigated the relationship be- tween the asymmetry in the duration of El Nifio and La Nina and the length of their decaying phases. The results suggested that the duration asymmetry comes from the long decaying ENSO cases rather than the short decaying ones. The evolutions of short decaying El Nino and La Nina are approximately a mirror image with a rapid decline in the following summer for the warm and cold events. However, a robust asymmetry was found in long decaying cases, with a prolonged and re-intensified La Nina in the following winter. The asymmetry for long decaying cases starts from the westward extension of the zonal wind anomalies in a mature winter, and is further contributed to by the air-sea interaction over the tropical Pacific in the following seasons.

Contrast enhancement in retinal image via multi-scale geometrical analysis

We present a new multi-scale geometrical analysis method for ophthalmic image contrast enhancement based on the contourlet transform. The contourlet transform has better performance in representing edges than wavelets due to its anisotropy and directionality,and is therefore well-suited for multiscale edge enhancement. We modify the contourlet coefficients in corresponding subband and take the noise into account for mere precise reconstruction and better visualization. We compare this approach with enhancement based on the ourvelet transform,and the traditional Histogram Stretching （HS）. Our findings are that contourlet based enhancement out-performs other enhancement methods on low contrast and dynamic range images,and can clearly identify the vessels and nerves in an ophthalmic image.

Intra-Palm Propagation Signals as Suitable Biometrics for Successive Authentication

We propose the use of intra-palm propagation signals as biometrics. The intra-palm propagation signal is a signal that is propagated in the shallow part of the skin of a palm. In this paper, we prepare dedicated measuring devices and measure intra-palm propagation signals from twenty-one experimental subjects. We also evaluate the verification performance based on Euclidian distance or SVM （support vector machine）. The equal error rate in the case of SVM is aovroximatelv 24%.

The Hind as the Ancestress, Ergo Virgin Mary-- Comparative Study About the Common Origin Myth of the Hun and Hungarian People

Numerous legends are known in Eurasia, in which one or more hunters are trying to get a stag, and then the hunters will find a new homeland, or establish a new cathedral at the location where the deer appeared earlier. According to the structure of the legend, the Eastern legend type is more ancient. In its most archaic version the sole hero spots a doe, who later turns out to be the daughter of a king, later marrying the hero and then they found a new homeland where his people may reproduce. This totemic tradition of the origins can he seen in the Hungarian myths of origin, as well as in the oral ritual texts related to wedding ceremonies which connect Central Eurasia with Europe through the Hun origin myths. The doe appearing in the Eastern Legends is the symbol of the Sun and the ancestress of the culture hero＇s nation. And this symbolic role descends to the cultural heritage of the Christian era later in the person of Virgin Mary. The aim of the paper is to find whether there are any correspondences between the two branches and if there are, the sort is to be determined; furthermore, the purposes of the Hungarian legends are to be sought out about the Miracle Stag in possible relation to the deer legends on the two continents linked together by the Eurasian steppes.

The development of applications is related to the evolution of paradigms and approaches to developing them. This paper presents different approaches and paradigms of development starting with the procedural approach, coming up for service, through the component and object-oriented approaches. Also, for each of the approaches we determine the advantages and limitations.

Creating customized data services from web pages

To extract structured data from a web page with customized requirements,a user labels some DOM elements on the page with attribute names.The common features of the labeled elements are utilized to guide the user through the labeling process to minimize user efforts,and are also utilized to retrieve attribute values.To turn the attribute values into a structured result,the attribute pattern needs to be induced.For this purpose,a space-optimized suffix tree called attribute tree is built to transform the document object model(DOM) tree into a simpler form while preserving its useful properties such as attribute sequence order.The pattern is induced bottom-up on the attribute tree,and is further used to build the structured result.Experiments are conducted and show high performance of our approach in terms of precision,recall and structural correctness.

Applying systematic conservation planning to constitute a protection strategy for broad-leaved Korean pine forests in Changbai Mountains, China

The broad-leaved Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis) forest is one of the most biodiverse zonal communities in the North Temperate Zone and an important habitat for many endangered species.Broad-leaved Korean pine forests(BKPFs) are shrinking quickly due to deforestation and rapid urbanization. Thus, scientific protection strategies are urgently needed to change this status. Changbai Mountains contains one of the largest BKPFs and is considered a priority biodiversity conservation area in China. Guided by systematic conservation planning(SCP) methods and procedures, we chose representative species and communities in BKPFs ecosystem as priority conservation objects, and set quantitative conservation target, which is in the light of the biodiversity characteristic of BKPFs. The watershed area is used as planning unit. We used CPlan software to calculate the irreplaceability(Ir)value of each planning unit and the contribution value(Ti) of each conservation object to(1) assess the conservation efficiency;(2) identify the conservation gap of the existing conservation network. Then wecalculated a human disturbance index(HDI) for planning units in the conservation gaps and combine this with the Ir value to design three conservation scenarios to optimize the conservation network.Results show that planning units with high conservation value 14.16% of the total area, with3084.36 km2 were covered by the existing conservation network. 79.28% of planning units with high conservation value have not been protected which were concentrated mainly in the eight gap areas.Only 25.3% of protection objects achieved their conservation target with the existing conservation network. Conservation efficiency is low. Three conservation scenarios are constituted, each prioritizing a different aim:(1) ecological value;(2)species rescue; and(3) economical avoidance. The three conservation schemes potentially enable 93%,88% and 51% of conservation objects, respectively, to achieve identified conservation targets, thereby improving conservation efficiency significantly.

Nonlinear model predictive control based on support vector machine and genetic algorithm

This paper presents a nonlinear model predictive control(NMPC) approach based on support vector machine(SVM) and genetic algorithm(GA) for multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) nonlinear systems.Individual SVM is used to approximate each output of the controlled plant Then the model is used in MPC control scheme to predict the outputs of the controlled plant.The optimal control sequence is calculated using GA with elite preserve strategy.Simulation results of a typical MIMO nonlinear system show that this method has a good ability of set points tracking and disturbance rejection.

Education is a mental effort that an individual performs alone or in a group for the purpose of perceiving the surrounding, understanding, and putting a meaning on it. In this sense, it would be a reasonable idea that an individual should benefit from art education in order to have a complete education, since art is not just creating an aesthetic object or being aware of staying against an aesthetic object. Analysis of the Approach on Usability and Ergonomics in Handling and Transporting Packaging

The purpose of this research is to explore the principle of the man-object relationship to identify the issues shown when handling packaging and emphasizing the usability aspect. For that, the theoretical reference of the research involves the analysis of the parameters according to the aspects that involve the use interactions of packaging in agreement with the definition and scientific concepts of ergonomics, allied to the development of product projects, discussing forms, handling, load transportation and the support of the product. Therefore, improperly handling of the packaging may cause damages to the products and even potential accidents. Coding and decoding are significant to facilitate the use recognition within the individual＇s repertoire. The packaging, within the macro-ergonomics universe, may be the object of ergonomics, whose contribution to solve problems is related to labor activities, by dealing with packaging, transportation and load resulting from the man-object interaction. The incorrect identification of information may lead to problems of interpretation and misuse, from the handling to the disposal of packaging. For this reason, this research suggests the adjustment of the man-object interface which may lead users to make mistakes regarding use and important choices, through adequate handling actions.

Geometry Is the Common Thread in a Grand Unified Field Theory

The consequence of the wave-particle duality is a pointer to the fact that everything in the universe, including light and gravity, can be described in terms of particles. These particles have a property called spin. What the spin of a particle really tells us is what the particle looks like from different directions, in other words it is nothing more than a geometrical property. The motivation for this work stems from the fact that geometry has always played a fundamental role in physics, macroscopic and microscopic, relativistic and non-relativistic. Our belief is that if a GUT （Grand Unified Theory） is to be established at all, then geometry must be the common thread connecting all the different aspects of the already known theories. We propose a new way to visualize the concept of four-dimensional space-time in simple geometrical terms. It is observed that our time frame becomes curved, just as the space-frame, in the presence of a massive gravitating body. Specifically, in the event horizon of a black hole, where time seems to grind to a halt for external observers, the time frame appears to curve in on itself, forming an imaginary loop. This results in extreme time dilation, due to the strong gravitational field. Finally we adopt a descriptive view of a GUT called Quantum Necklace GUT which attempts to connect gravity together the other three fundamental forces of nature, namely the strong, weak and electromagnetic interactions.
