Internet of Things （IoT） devices are increasingly being fotmd in civilian and military contexts, ranging from smart cities and smart grids to Internet-of-Medical-Things, Internet-of-Vehicles, Internet-of-Military-Th...Internet of Things （IoT） devices are increasingly being fotmd in civilian and military contexts, ranging from smart cities and smart grids to Internet-of-Medical-Things, Internet-of-Vehicles, Internet-of-Military-Things, Internet-of- Battlefield-Things, etc. In this paper, we survey articles presenting IoT security solutions published in English since January 2016. We make a nmnber of observations, including the lack of publicly available loT datasets that can be used by the research and practitioner communities. Given the potentially sensitive nature of IoT datasets, there is a need to develop a standard for sharing IoT datasets among the research and practitioner communities and other relevant stakeholders. Thus, we posit the potential for blockehain technology in facilitating secure sharing of IoT datasets （e.g., using blockchain to ensure the integrity of shared datasets） and securing loT systems, before presenting two conceptual blockchain-based approaches. We then conclude this paper with nine potential research questions.展开更多

Beijing's MCI cluster is emerging as far as the competence of the industryand its spatial concentration are concerned, although it is not the type of the cluster describedby PORTER due to the low competence of indigenous firms. The formation of the cluster can beexplained by means of the factor and demand conditions of Beijing. However, it is mostly determinedby the multinationals that promote the growth of the industry and the formation of the cluster, andby the government that also plays a key role in many ways. As a matter of fact, the interactionbetween the multinationals and the local government is the key to understanding the formation of thecluster. All in all, Beijing's emerging MCI cluster is a value-chain, geographically concentratedbut non-localized cluster, which is highly dominated by the multinationals and the local government.Its special characteristics bear some policy implications as to the change of the roles of thelocal government and the localization of multinationals, etc.展开更多

The study area--Pull area--is a place to stop along the way to the two most popular international destinations--Sun Moon Lake and Qing-Jing Farm of Central Taiwan. Pull area once was the tourism community providing dining and accommodation facilities for the travelers heading to the two international destinations, but since the availability of National Highway 6 more efficiently connects to National Highway 1 to the public, travelers get to the two international destinations becoming easier. Pull area definitely transformed its nodal function of tourism, and further reconstructed the new spatial relationships among the travel nodes of destinations after the transportation revolution. In this research, the author termed this phenomenon of travel nodes of secondary nodes or primary nodes emerging on rapidly in tourism development after transportation revolution to ＂vine effect＂.展开更多

This paper analyzes the current situation of personal accounts in our country, and puts forward that the account rate of bank deposit can not resist inflation, and can not reflect the real return rate of China＇s pension funds, which is not conducive to the preservation and appreciation of personal account funds. On the basis of the above, the paper puts forward that the account rate should not only consider the level of economic development and inflation, but also to adapt to the financial payment ability, and establish the personal account risk reserve fund system and other improvement measures, and strive to achieve the sustainable development of the personal account system.展开更多
