分别源于 2 0世纪 2 0年代和 2 0世纪 6 0年代美国的工业关系 (IR)和人力资源管理 (HRM )研究随着时代的变迁正发生着变化 ,目前的一种趋势是以HRM逐渐代替IR描述整个雇佣关系领域的研究 ;而在中国 ,IR和HRM研究的现状和发展前景如何 ?对此 ,本文在追溯美国IR和HRM研究的演变和比较两个领域研究内容和假设的异同的基础上 ,研究了中国IR和HRM研究的起源、现状和发展前景。

Assessment of nurses’workplace silence behaviour motives:A crosssectional study

Objectives:The motives that lead to nurses’workplace silence behaviour are essential to understand,as the failure to voice their concerns and maintain silence may cause various adverse outcomes,including burnout,turnover,job dissatisfaction,low productivity,and mental and moral distress.This study aimed to identify the level and influencing motives of the workplace silence behaviour among nurses at the National Guard Hospital in Madinah.Methods:A descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted in January and February 2023.The participants completed a questionnaire with two parts:the sociodemographic data form and the Workplace Silence Behavior Nursing Motives Scale.Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics and the chi-square test.Results:The overall level for all workplace silence behavior motives is moderate(3.29±0.69),with Avoidance Motives dimension receiving the highest scores(3.62±0.75)and Organization-Oriented Motives dimension receiving the lowest(3.15±0.86).Chi-square test showed that Saudi nationality(X^(2)=0.015,P=0.019)and monthly income(X^(2)=0.045,P?0.013)are factors in high-moderate levels of silence behaviour.Conclusions:The overall level of workplace silence behaviour motives was found to be moderate,nurses have higher monthly salaries and non-Saudi nationals tend to have higher levels of workplace silence behaviour motives.The study results provide a reference for nursing managers to pay attention to nurses’workplace silence behavior and take corresponding intervention measures.

Downscaling and Disaggregating NAO-conflict Nexus in Pre-industrial Europe

Recently, the desiccation effect of the North Atlantic Oscillation(NAO) is found to be positively correlated with violent conflict in pre-industrial Europe, with agricultural shrinkage and its subsequent economic shocks to be their causal link. However, it remains unexplored whether the correlation persists if the study period is extended backward in time, a different definition of violent conflict is applied, or the relationship is examined at lower geographic levels. In this study, we based on 835 internal disturbance incidents in Europe during 1049–1800 to conduct long-temporal and multi-scalar examination on the NAO-conflict nexus. ′Time-series′ and ′panel data′ disaggregation approaches, together with Granger Causality, Multiple Regression, and Survival Analyses were applied to verify the nexus quantitatively. Results show that the positive NAO-conflict correlation was significant at the continent and physiographic zone levels. During the positive NAO phases, the annual probability of internal disturbance outbreak increased by 70.0% in the southern Europe and the Mediterranean, a zone most affected by the NAO-induced desiccation effect. Yet, the NAO-conflict correlation was rather inconsistent when it was downscaled to the sub-regional level. Moreover, the NAO-conflict correlation was inflated under the time-series approach, while the panel data approach demonstrated the region-specific nature of the NAO forcing more clearly. The associated implications in examining climate-conflict nexus are discussed. Our findings may be crucial in examining violent conflict in the northwestern Africa, a highly agricultural region affected by the NAO.

Application of Big Data Technology in Evaluation of Operating Status of High-pressure Hydrogenation Heat Exchanger

The high-pressure hydrogenation heat exchanger is an impoltmlt equipment of the refinery, but it is exposed tothe problem of leakage caused by ammonium salt corrosion. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the operating statusof flae hydrogenation heat exchanger. To improve flae method for evaluating the operating status of hydrogenation heat ex-chmagers by using flae traditional method, flais paper proposes a new method for evaluating the operation of hydrogenationheat exchangers based on big data. To address flae noisy data common in flae industry, this paper proposes an automatednoisy interval detection algorithm. To deal with flae problem that the sensor parameters have voluminous and mtrelateddimensions, flais paper proposes a key parameter detection algorithm based on flae Pearson correlation coefficient. Finally,this paper presents a system-based health scoring algorithm based on PCA （Principal Component Analysis） to assist site op-erators in assessing the healfla of hydrogenation heat exchangers. The evaluation of flae operating status of flae hydrorefiningheat exchange device based on big data technology will help the operators to more accurately grasp the status of flae indus-trial system mad have positive guiding significance for the early warning offlae failure.

China-Singapore Intergovernmental Cooperation and Economic and Trade Relations

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore in 1990, both the economic and political ties between the two countries have experienced a substantial growth. China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, China-Singapore （Chongqing） Demonstrative Initiative on Strategic Connectivity, and the compatibility between Singapore ~ development strategy and China＇ s Belt and Road initiative are testimony to the ever-growing bilateral economic and trade links. The deepening and expanding economic and trade relations between China and Singapore enhance political mutual trust, propelling China＇s economic and industrial upgrading. At the same time, they exert a positive influence on the development of China-ASEAN relations and an effective implementation of the Belt and Road initiative in Southeast Asia.

China’s Imports Technology Structure and Its Relationship with Trade Partners:1995-2011

This paper uses the latest data to analyze the historical patterns and the current situation of the technology structure of China＇ commodities imports, the structure of China＇s commodities imports from 19 countries and regions, and China＇s interdependent relationship with its trade partners on the basis of studying 230 kinds of manufactured products categorized by their technological intensity. The results show that during the period of 1995-2011, the share of low technology （low-tech） products and medium technology （medium-tech） products declined,＂ the share of primary products, resource- based products, and high technology （high-tech） products increased; high-tech products had taken the largest share, bypassing low-tech and medium-tech products, as early as 2000; different types of countries exported different kinds of commodities to China and had different positions in China＇s imports; China had relatively high interdependent relations with Japan, South Korea and China＇s Taiwan; China had relatively low interdependent relations with the United States, Germany, France and the Netherlands; China＇s import dependence on major developing countries and emerging developing countries was less than these countries＇ export dependence on China; China was the leading export destination for major developing countries and emerging developing countries. Generally speaking, the development of China＇s import trade is inclusive, and China shares its growth with other countries. It not only promotes developing countries＇exports but also enhances developed countries＇ exports.

Emotional Intelligence and Belief in Just World Among Engineering Students

The present study is an attempt to find out relation between emotional intelligence and Belief in Just World （BJW） among engineering students of Pune city. The sample consisted of 217 second year engineering students from various engineering colleges of Pune city. Emotional intelligence was measured with the help of one of the popular measures of emotional intelligence developed by Schutte et al. in 1998 （SE1S）. BJW was measured with the help of General Belief in a Just World scale by Dalbert et al. in 1987. Pearson＇s Product moment correlation was used to find out correlation between BJW and emotional intelligence and test was used to find out gender differences on the variables of the study. Obtained results showed a significant positive correlation between BJW and emotional intelligence. The results demonstrated sex differences in general belief in a just world and also on emotional intelligence. Implications of the study in the light of engineering course have been discussed.
