1917年二月革命后,列宁面对西欧工人运动此起彼伏的形势,提出俄国革命是全欧洲社会主义革命“序幕”的思想,这是进行世界革命的社会主义战略思想。1920年底国内战争结束时,他鉴于苏维埃共和国一个国家能够存在于资本主义国家包围中的事... 1917年二月革命后,列宁面对西欧工人运动此起彼伏的形势,提出俄国革命是全欧洲社会主义革命“序幕”的思想,这是进行世界革命的社会主义战略思想。1920年底国内战争结束时,他鉴于苏维埃共和国一个国家能够存在于资本主义国家包围中的事实,提出苏俄进行新制度建设并在欧洲树立建设“榜样”的思想。为了达到苏俄树立“榜样”的目的,他提出了实现全国电气化、开展对外贸易、实施新经济政策等手段和途径。这是一个新的社会主义战略思想,即以苏俄新制度建设的成就对欧洲各国施加社会主义影响的思想。上述列宁社会主义战略思想的转变对于当代中国共产党人的实践具有思想启示意义。 展开更多

Screen image sequence compression method utilizing adaptive block size coding and hierarchical GOP structure

To compress screen image sequence in real-time remote and interactive applications,a novel compression method is proposed.The proposed method is named as CABHG.CABHG employs hybrid coding schemes that consist of intra-frame and inter-frame coding modes.The intra-frame coding is a rate-distortion optimized adaptive block size that can be also used for the compression of a single screen image.The inter-frame coding utilizes hierarchical group of pictures(GOP) structure to improve system performance during random accesses and fast-backward scans.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CABHG method has approximately 47%-48% higher compression ratio and 46%-53% lower CPU utilization than professional screen image sequence codecs such as TechSmith Ensharpen codec and Sorenson 3 codec.Compared with general video codecs such as H.264 codec,XviD MPEG-4 codec and Apple's Animation codec,CABHG also shows 87%-88% higher compression ratio and 64%-81% lower CPU utilization than these general video codecs. 展开更多

The aim of this work is to study the interaction of spoken words and images that are used within programs targeted to popularize knowledge among teenagers. We will look into the program Bit@bit developed by Television... The aim of this work is to study the interaction of spoken words and images that are used within programs targeted to popularize knowledge among teenagers. We will look into the program Bit@bit developed by Television de Catalunya, which is intended to disseminate computer concepts, tools and procedures. In this kind of program, one can find spoken language (on/off screen voices, interviews, etc.), other oral material (sounds, music, songs), written language (descriptions, title sequences, inserts and Uniform Resource Locator, or electronic addresses), and other visual material (film cut images, advertising, other TV programs, cartoons, films, both location or studio images, depicting reality, or computer screens, or logotypes). The profusion of multimodal elements used in this program helps to keep the young audience's attention. The use of references to their world or knowledge, as a target group, is based on interplay among different semiotic strategies. At the same time, the entire program's multi-segmentation into short video clips, combined with a fast paced sound track helps its audience to understand the specialized explanations presented. Of all the multimodal wealth that the program presents, we will concentrate only on the relationship between the words and the images (leaving other secondary semiotics to one side), the main strategy for achieving the objective of transmitting knowledge and winning adolescent audiences. 展开更多

In contrast with the large number of theatrical performances and filmic versions for television, both British and American, based on the play The Importance of Being Earnest (1975) by Oscar Wilde, there have only been, so far, three films made for the cinema. Although one of them was made in the United States by the American director Kurt Baker in 1992, this paper will address only the two English versions, chronologically separated by a 50-year time span. It will focus on the cinematic adaptations made by English directors Anthony Asquith and Oliver Parker, the former in 1952 and the latter in 2002. Based on the same play, this comparative approach may throw some light on the evolution of cinematographic conditions and techniques as well as relate them to the expectations of audiences in the mid 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century. 展开更多
