An optimization model of underground mining method selection was established on the basis of the unascertained measurement theory.Considering the geologic conditions,technology,economy and safety production,ten main factors influencing the selection of mining method were taken into account,and the comprehensive evaluation index system of mining method selection was constructed.The unascertained evaluation indices corresponding to the selected factors for the actual situation were solved both qualitatively and quantitatively.New measurement standards were constructed.Then,the unascertained measurement function of each evaluation index was established.The index weights of the factors were calculated by entropy theory,and credible degree recognition criteria were established according to the unascertained measurement theory.The results of mining method evaluation were obtained using the credible degree criteria,thus the best underground mining method was determined.Furthermore,this model was employed for the comprehensive evaluation and selection of the chosen standard mining methods in Xinli Gold Mine in Sanshandao of China.The results show that the relative superiority degrees of mining methods can be calculated using the unascertained measurement optimization model,so the optimal method can be easily determined.Meanwhile,the proposed method can take into account large amount of uncertain information in mining method selection,which can provide an effective way for selecting the optimal underground mining method. 展开更多

It starts from discussing aerosol filtration theory, followed by a brief review on the advancement of filtration media. After that, filtration applications in respiratory protection, dust collection, and engine in-take air cleaning are elaborated. These are the areas that the author sees as the typical needed ones in China's fast pace economical development endeavor, where air filtration enables the protection of human health, environment and equipment for sustainability. 展开更多

It has become essential for some telecommunication companies to focus on customer satisfaction with industrial products used by the government and enterprise customers. Following the review of a previous study of customer satisfaction and with the help of experiential level theory,this article attempts to establish a Satisfaction Factors Model for researching customer satisfaction with industry applications. We chose a product named "Mobile Monitor" and investigated the emotional satisfaction of 127 users and company leaders from different walks of life,and showed that 7 of the product's features affected the customers' overall emotional satisfaction. Lastly,this paper points out management implications of this application based on quantitative results. It presents a preliminary exploration program for customer satisfaction research in this specific field. The empirical research on a specific product based on experimental level theory may serve as a reference for other companies that desire to carry out similar surveys in future. 展开更多

In order to analyze the mechanism of deep hole high pressure hydraulic fracturing, nonlinear dynamic theory, damage mechanics, elastic-plastic mechanics are used, and the law of crack propagation and stress transfer under two deep hole hydraulic fracturing in tectonic stress areas is studied using seepage-stress coupling models with RFPA simulation software. In addition, the effects of rock burst control are tested using multiple methods, either in the stress field or in the energy field. The research findings show that with two deep holes hydraulic fracturing in tectonic stress areas, the direction of the main crack propagation under shear-tensile stress is parallel to the greatest principal stress direction. High-pressure hydraulic fracturing water seepage can result in the destruction of the coal structure, while also weakening the physical and mechanical properties of coal and rock. Therefore the impact of high stress concentration in hazardous areas will level off, which has an effect on rock burst prevention and control in the region. 展开更多

A fiber Bragg grating temperature sensor network was designed to implement the real-time health monitoring of the aluminum reduction cell. The heat transfer process was simulated using software ANSYS, and an on-line shell monitoring system was established based on optical sensing technology. According to aluminum reduction cell heat transfer theory, the 2D slice finite element model was developed. The relationship between shell temperature and cell status was discussed. Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) was chosen as the temperature sensor in light of its unique advantages. The accuracy of designed FBG temperature sensors exceeds 2 ~C, and good repeatability was exhibited. An interrogation system with 104 sensors based on VPG (volume phase grating) filter was established. Through the long-term monitoring on running state, the status of the aluminum reduction cell, including security and fatigue life could be acquired and estimated exactly. The obtained results provide the foundation for the production status monitoring and fault diagnosis. Long-term test results show good stability and repeatability which are compatible with electrolysis process. 展开更多

Based on this theory, I develop an Algorithm-Error (A-E) equation of potential field transformations in the wavenumber domain, which not only gives a more flexible algorithm of potential field transformations, but also reveals the law of error of potential field transformations in the wavenumber domain. The DFT0η η(0.5, 0.5) reduction-to-pole (RTP) technique derived from the A-E equation significantly improves the resolution and accuracy of RTP anomalies at low magnetic latitudes, including the magnetic equator. The law (origin, form mechanism, and essential properties) of the edge oscillation revealed by the A-E equation points out theoretically a way of improving the effect of existing padding methods in high-pass transformations in the wavenumber domain. 展开更多

Bijie prefecture of Guizhou province served as a case in this study. Bijie prefecture is one of the least-developed areas in China. In Bijie, the physical and chemical characteristics of karst as well as the rapid economic development lead to the scarcities of cultivated land-water resources (CL-WR). On the basis of analysis on the subsystems of Bijie CL.WRCC system, the fundamental feedback structure of CL-WRCC was presented by causal loop diagram. Considering the three alms (" poverty alleviation and development, ecological construction, and population control") of Bijie as the major goals, Bijie CL-WRCC SD model was developed. Three scenarios, resource-saving and environment-friendly development-oriented scenario (Scenario 1 ), fast economic development-oriented scenario ( Scenario 2 ), and coordinated development-oriented scenario (Scenario 3 ), were investigated. Simulation results indicate that Scenario 3 which takes social economic development, environment protection, and cultivated land- water resources utilization into account, is the best alternative scenario. It can promote the coordination development of society, economy, cultivated land, water resources, and environment. In this study, the technological support and the decision-making for the rational use of CL-WR are provided not only in Bijie, but also in other similar regions of China. 展开更多

The individual classifier is designed based on a refined Nearest Feature Line (NFL),which is called Center-based Nearest Neighbor (CNN). CNN retains the advantages of NFL while it has relatively low computational cost. Different member classifiers are trained based on different feature spaces respectively. Corresponding mass functions can be generated based on proposed mass function determination approach. The classification decision can be made based on the combined evidence and better classification performance can be expected. The Natures of Microscopic Particles Depicted by Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation in Quantum Systems

When the microscopic particles was depicted by linear Schrodinger equation, we find that the particles have only a wave feature, thus, a series of difficulties and intense disputations occur in quantum mechanics. These problems excite us to consider the nonlinear interactions among the particles or between the particle and background field, which is completely ignored in quantum mechanics. Thus we use the nonlinear Schrodinger equation to describe the natures of microscopic particles. In this case the natures and features of microscopic particles are considerably different from those in quantum mechanics, where the microscopic particles are localized and have truly a wave-particle duality. Meanwhile, they satisfy both the classical dynamics equation and Lagrangian and Hamilton equations and obey the conservation laws of mass, energy and momentum. These natures and features are due to the nonlinear interactions, which are generated in virtue of the interaction between the moved particles and background field through the mechanisms of self-trapping, self-focus and self-condensation. Finally, we verified experimentally the localization and wave-corpuscle features of microscopic particles described by the nonlinear Schrodinger equation using the properties of water soliton and optical-soliton depicted also by the nonlinear Schrodinger equation in water and optical fiber, respectively. Therefore, the new nonlinear quantum theory established on the basis of nonlinear Schrodinger equation is correct and credible. From this investigation we can not only solve difficulties and problems disputed for about a century by plenty of scientists in quantum mechanics but also promote the development of physics and enhance the knowledge and recognition levels to the essences of microscopic matter. 展开更多

Nature and its exploration is one of the most frequent objects of scientific research. Phenology can be described either as the study of natural events, or of biological events, in relation to climate. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute operates phenological network (45 wild plants) with allergology important species within the observation program (the program includes among other species also the Common Hazel (Corylus avellana L.), the Common Alder (Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaert.), the Silver Birch (Betula pendula Roth.), the Meadow Foxtail (Alopecurus pratensis L.) and the Cocks Foot (Dactyl& glomerata L.)). We have statistically evaluated the phenological stages closely connected with the pollen grains release into the air (the beginning of flowering-BBCH 61 and the end of flowering-BBCH 69) including maps creation. The processed period was within last twenty years 1991-2010. The maps were processed using geographic information systems (Application Clidata-GIS, method Clidata-DEM). The input data were used the mean dates of phenophase entrance from the twenty year period 1991-2010. The mean onset date of the beginning of flowering was between 24th February and the 24th March (the Common Hazel), between 6th March and 2nd April (the Common Alder), between 13th April and 7th May (the Silver Birch), between 5thMay and 23rd May (the Meadow Foxtail) and between 16th May and 12th June (the Cocks Foot). The mean onset date of the end of flowering was from 18th March till the 15th April (the Common Hazel), from 27th March till 19th April (the Common Alder), from 28th April till 21st May (the Silver Birch), from 25th May till 6th June (the Meadow Foxtail) and from 7th May till 23rd June (the Cocks Foot). The duration of flowering lasts on average with selected allergens as follows: 22-23 days with standard deviation 2.3-5.3 days (the Common Hazel), 14-15 days with standard deviation 2.1-2.7 days (the Common Alder), 17-21 days with standard deviation 1.8-4.2 days (the Silver Birch), 20 days with standard deviations 1.0-2.7 days (the Meadow Foxtail) and 20-22 days with standard deviation 1.3-4.0 days (the Cocks Foot). The phenological phases were much precipitated in the years 2000, 2007 and 2009, on the contrary the onsets were much delayed in the years 1991 and 1996. Part of selected species show an overall tendency to the earlierst onset on the low level of the statistics significance during the 20-year processed period. 展开更多

Here we present Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and Fourier transform Raman (FT-Raman) spectra of black pepper powder, which reveal the presence of some specific functional groups, attributed to the different vibrational bands present. Through the assignment of the vibrational bands, black pepper is shown to have enough carboxyl dimer character, a feature that could make it effective in the treatment of the deadly disease vitiligo. The different methods used to identify the materials of mud brick, limestone, plaster, mortar and pigments, collected from different sites and periods from Egypt, in order to identify and characterize the materials, their structure, composition and their mineralogical compounds were: (Op) optical microscopy, which was used to examine and to identify the materials structures. Methods used in initial examination were: (1) (MCA): Micro-chemical analysis, to identify the nature of the materials and for water-soluble salts, to identify sulphates, chlorides, carbonates, nitrites and nitrates; (2) (SM): Standard methods of wet chemical analysis were used to identify the quantitative and qualitative nature of the, mud building, mortars and their mixtures; (3) (SEM & EDS): Analytical scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray analysis system was used to examine the micro-morphology and determine the chemical composition of the different materials; (4) (XRD & XRPD): X-ray diffraction to identify the mineralogical compound of the plaster, limestone, mortars and pigments used. From all the results obtained, it was possible to establish the nature of the mortars and their binders as well as some other inclusion. In addition to the identification of the stratigraphy of the layers applied in some samples, the examination and analysis gave details of the materials and the approximate ratio of the amount of additives used. Furthermore, the mineralogical analysis provided information on the main mineralogical phases present in the materials analyzed from the different periods. 展开更多
