中国“情”文化影响下的古代送别诗

中国古代产生了世界上无以伦比的送别诗,受中国伦理观念的影响,中国古代送别诗可以说是"情"文化的送别诗,蕴含着深沉厚重的亲情、友情以及"忧国忧民、建功立业、报效国家"的爱国情。

跨文化交际与“红楼梦”的“情”文化

当今社会,跨文化交际活动日趋频繁。一直以来跨文化交际研究主要集中于不同国家民族的主流文化之间,对于同一文化中的不同群体间的跨文化交际研究相对较少。而中国古典名著“红楼梦”对众多人物间纷繁复杂的关系的描写正体现了这种跨文化交际。在研究分析这些交际的同时,笔者发现这些跨文化交际与书中的“情”文化有着密不可分的联系。可以说,“情”文化奠定了跨文化交际成功的基础。本文尝试对“红楼梦”一书中这种群体间跨文化交际进行初步的探讨,并在此基础上剖析“情”文化对于跨文化交际的重要性,从文学作品中提炼出对社会语言学有价值的东西。

论“情”文化的审美功用与现代价值

"情文化"孕育于重情,重悟的中国古典艺术,因此审美情感占据了重要的地位。富有中华民族情感特征的审美情感由"情"字起源,又随着"情"的语义发展而迁移,呈现出四个层面的审美内涵,承担起互补式的审美功用。"情文化"在现代社会中以丰厚的审美底蕴,奠定了现代修辞诗学基础,同时,能够很好地实现现代美学教育价值的转化,丰富自己,走向世界。

面向国际中文教育的中医文化教学体系构想

中文和中医同属于中国文化,也存在显著的专业差异。在国际中文教育的背景下考察中医文化教学,既需要遵循国际中文教育的一般规律,还应考虑中医学的专业属性。国际中文教学中的中医文化具有不同的主题类别和呈现方式。依据《国际中文教育用中国文化和国情教学参考框架》,同时参照非物质文化遗产的类别划分,从中医的专业性和文化的层级性两个向度,对中医文化的知识内容与元素作出合适的定位,并且提出中医文化教学体系的构想。

“情暖路桥”文化与员工幸福奋斗观塑造研究

文章基于广西路桥工程集团有限公司文化建设工作实际,研究了"情暖路桥"文化的内涵及主要模式,将"情暖路桥"划分为文化活动类(主题文化活动、职工家属工地探亲活动、冬送温暖及夏送清凉活动、集体生日及主题节庆活动、星级项目食堂及金牌厨师评比活动)、制度设计类(大病互助保障制度、工地大课堂、导师带徒制度、职业双通道制度)和设施建设类(标准化驻地建设、职工之家建设)等三种模式,提出"情暖路桥"文化为员工幸福奋斗观塑造提供了内生动力,进而有效推动了品质工程建设。

Runoff Change of Naoli River in Northeast China in 1955–2009 and Its Influencing Factors

Runoff change and trend of the Naoli River Basin were studied through the time series analysis using the data from the hydrological and meteorological stations. Time series of hydrological data were from 1957 to 2009 for Bao′an station, from 1955 to 2009 for Baoqing station, from 1956 to 2009 for Caizuizi station and from 1978 to 2009 for Hongqiling station. The influences of climate change and human activities on runoff change were investigated, and the causes of hydrological regime change were revealed. The seasonal runoff distribution of the Naoli River was extremely uneven, and the annual change was great. Overall, the annual runoff showed a significant decreasing trend. The annual runoff of Bao′an, Baoqing, and Caizuizi stations in 2009 decreased by 64.1%, 76.3%, and 84.3%, respectively, compared with their beginning data recorded. The wet and dry years of the Naoli River have changed in the study period. The frequency of wet year occurrence decreased and lasted longer, whereas that of dry year occurrence increased. The frequency of dry year occurrence increased from 25.0%-27.8% to 83.9%-87.5%. The years before the 1970s were mostly wet, whereas those after the 1970s were mostly dry. Precipitation reduction and land use changes contributed to the decrease in annual runoff. Rising temperature and water project construction have also contributed important effects on the runoff change of the Naoli River.

Re-examining the Past： Elements of Postmodern Memory in Toni Morrison＇s Love

Toni Morrison＇s fiction may arguably be characterized as postmodern discourse on memory, history and culture. In her novels, the Nobel laureate frequently returns to the past to search for answers to the questions she poses about African American realities in the contemporary United States. In doing so, Morrison often creates alternative histories or, more specifically, a usable past----one that allows her to engage in a literary （re-）construction of the Black historical and cultural material which traditional histories have chosen to ignore or disremember. Therefore, as a present-day writer of African American descent, Morrison attempts to reassemble all the fragmentary historical and cultural accounts available to her as a novelist and narrate them in the form of a convincing story. With regard to the above considerations, this article seeks to discuss some of the mechanisms employed by Morrison for weaving her postmodern, memory-filled narrative on the example of her eighth novel, Love （2003）. In particular, the analysis focuses on the book＇s central figure, Bill Cosey, and his Southern ocean-side resort--both seen against the backdrop of the pre- and post-World War II racist America, followed by the 1960s decade of the Civil Rights Movement. Finally, it is also demonstrated how the author＇s use of split narrative as well as the ＂I＂ narrator-cum-character technique contribute to recounting in retrospect Love＇s main, historicized story---one viewed and judged from a present-time perspective.

A Study on Chinese English Leamers＇ Use of Emotion Words

Most educated Chinese take English as an important communication tool and the language has been increasingly frequently used in all walks of life in the country. This paper is to examine the use of English emotion words on the target group of English learners in China. The study is designed to find out the relationship between the use of emotion words and such relevant variables as language proficiency, gender, and age. The results demonstrate that the use of emotion words is significantly linked to the level of proficiency as well as gender. Age is found to have slight effect on the use of emotion words. The study also reveals that more positive emotion words are produced than negative ones in the speech. Based on the major findings, some implications and suggestions are offered： Firstly, English learners in China are expected to improve their language proficiency, particularly that of listening and speaking. Secondly, they are supposed to enhance their culture awareness of English by means of exposing themselves to as much authentic language as possible.

Under the Skin. Intangible Components as the Basic Realities of Contemporary Post-bureaucratic Organizations： A Sociological Perspective

This article attempts to analyze, through a re-reading of the present sociological literature on the organization （that explores the organizations themselves in terms of ＂tacit＂ rather than ＂explicit＂, ＂socio-cultural systems＂ rather than ＂socio-technical systems＂）, the main intangible components that may affect the organizational live and all the organizing in general for the good or the evil, with respect to the ＂success＂ rather than the ＂failure＂ of the ＂in and out＂ organizational acting. There are then some sorts of ＂basic assumptions＂, deemed indispensable, also because they are still there and live in organizations but they do not always have a careful importance. Therefore the objective of the article is to describe them highlighting their salience and attempt to define parameters for further in-depth studies.

The Power of Reality： How Radio Documents Stimulate Listeners＇ Imagination and Emotions？

Sound has great power to move listeners＇ imagination and stimulate listeners＇ emotions. Sound makes the imagination work, and mind creates a sequence of associations, obvious and surprising, but always interesting. The sound is strength because of its delicacy. Because it does not create images, it evokes creativity. We see a picture, we even feel its movement. The sound＇s power of stimulating our imagination is known by the feature makers who-as John Biewen claims-use sound to tell story artfully. The author presents a visualization of sound, paying attention to a few aspects of this visualization, such as using a microphone like a camera, the role of pause/silence as photographs, audioscenography, and suggestiveness of human voice.

Following Domo-Kun： The Commoditization of Cultural Objects in the Global Market

This paper analyzes and attempts to bridge the gap between popular culture＇s aesthetics, popularized by Camille Paglia and her work Sex, Art and American Culture： Essays （1992], and international marketing culture＇s aesthetics, as described by Schmitt and Simonson （1997）. Popular culture and marketing rarely share the same realm of research. However, these theories start to influence each other, which are especially visible when compared with international marketing as the framework. In order to analyze the gap between popular culture and marketing culture, the author followed a cultural object, Domo-kun, as it entered the US market. Domo-kun gradually changed, including its marketing aesthetics, its significance, and meaning within popular culture after it entered the market. These meaning changes are through the process of commoditization, emotional value, and how they are reinterpreted within cultural frames and reference groups.

Discussion on Dong Ethnic Minority＇s Folk Culture and Aesthetic Psychology from the Perspective of Song and Dance ＂Duoye＂

In this paper, Dong ethnic minority＇s folk customs and aesthetic psychology are understood from the perspective of the nationality culture reflected in Dong song and dance ＂Duoye＂ so as to excavate the nationality spirit, and also the connotation and spiritual foundation of the humanity structure are explored, in which the dignified history, rich nationality characteristics, and elegant artistic quality are integrated together, for the purpose of inheriting the traditional culture and continuously innovating and developing the nationality culture.

解构爱情话语——重读《聊斋志异》

本文通过对"爱情"观念的解析,指出用"爱情"来指称《聊斋志异》的故事,是一个时代错误。今天,对这些文本进行"重读",将"情"文化还原到当时的历史语境中,对了解前现代的性文化和性别话语,以及解构现代中国文学批评话语,都具有十分重要的意义。

唐传奇《霍小玉传》新解

本文在三个层面上对唐传奇名篇《霍小玉传》作了新的阐释:从男主人公的角度,认为李益是迫于客观压力的“负约”,而非主观感情上的“负心”。从女主人公的角度,指出霍小玉的八年“短愿”,是她“至情”追求的集中表现,是对真爱的弘扬与对婚姻的超越,是对不平社会另一种形式的抗争。从作品文化意蕴的角度,提出小说的深层蕴涵在于揭示唐代门第观念与婚姻制度扭曲青年男女美好感情的功利性与落后性,认为应该重点挖掘男女主人公爱情悲剧后面的社会文化原因,而非着重批判个人道德方面的问题。

Situation-Bound Utterances and Formulaic Competence: The Case of Chinese Learners of English as a Foreign Language

This study investigated the relationship between situation-bound utterances （SBUs thereafter） and formulaic competence, focusing on the acquisition of three subcategories of SBUs among early intermediate and early advanced Chinese learners of English as a foreign language （EFL）. A group of native English speakers also participated in this study to provide baseline data. One-way ANOVA analysis and post hoc tests confirmed that linguistic competence usually preceded formulaic competence for EFL learners. The findings also showed no statistically significant difference existing between the three groups of participants in the use of plain SBUs, and this could be attributed to the low degree of cultural-embeddedness and high semantic transparency of plain SBUs. It was further argued that a threshold has to be reached for EFL learners to go through a movement from rules to wholes.

Caring to Teach: Exploring the Affective Economies of English Teachers in Singapore

The ethical project of education hinges on the ideal of caring relations between teachers and students, an ideal that entails deep emotional commitments on the part of teachers. Drawing on interview data from a larger study of teachers’ lived experiences in Singapore’s secondary schools,this paper examines the cultural politics of caring as an emotional practice in teaching. The ethic of care serves to construct normative accounts of good teaching based on "feeling rules," and becomes a disciplinary technology for evaluating the professional, social and emotional competencies of teachers. I suggest that this project in turn entails an ideological effort to mobilize teachers’ emotional attachment to this ethical ideal. The ethic of care shapes the subjectivities, beliefs, and practices of English teachers, particularly as they circulate through the neoliberal imperatives of educational accountability regimes.

The Bloomsbury Short Story

This article examines the importance of the short story form for the Bloomsbury writers and how their aesthetic theories influenced its composition, structure and content. Often overlooked in the history of the genre, the Bloomsbury short story has a claim to be an important aspect of the twentieth-century accounts of the short story form. Attention to Virginia and Leonard Woolf, Katherine Mansfield, Vita Sackville- West, E.M. Forster and others, such as Arnold Bennett and D.H. Lawrence, indicates their widespread engagement with the genre and the ways in which they treated it from fragmented conversation, as in Woolf s ＂The String Quartet,＂ to Foster＇s employment of linear narrative detail in ＂The Road from Colonus.＂ Formal experiments with syntax, imagery, and vocabulary and prose rhythm exhibit the seriousness of the short story for Bloomsbury authors. The influence of the Russians is particularly important with Che- kov dominating the reading and writing of Woolf, Mansfield, Lawrence and others. The very form of publication--mostly journals and magazines--is also crucial in shaping the length and structure of the short story. Attention to experimentation, as well as renewal, of the genre balances the impact of the short story on writers today and the question of a successor to the efforts and achievements of Bloomsbury＇s authors. A reading of the short stories of Julian Barnes explores this possibility.
