A case of a 46-year-old woman with adenocarcinoma arising from intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas is reported herein. Computed tomography demonstrated a mass located in the bile duct of the left hepatic lobe. Pathological examination revealed a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma arising from intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas with nerve infiltration. This may be the first reported case of adenocarcinoma arising from intrahepatic heterotopic pancreas.展开更多

Methods: A case of recurrent central nervous system lymphoma in a 46-year-old male was treated with temozolomide 150 mg/m2 per day for 5 days; rituximab 750 mg/m2 on dl and d8, injected from Ommaya capsule to lateral ventricle, cycles were repeated every 28 days. Results: The patient achieved complete remission and the side effects was light after the treatment. Conclusion: Using this therapy method had certain curative effect on recurrent central nervous system lymphoma. Further studies should be needed on its indication.展开更多

In this article, we want to share our experience of proper dynamization of interlocking intramedullary nail for nonunion after proximal femoral intercalary allograft reconstruction. In this report, a 19-year-old girl was diagnosed proximal femoral fibroblast osteosarcoma (Enneking lib). After neoadjuvant chemotherapy, she underwent proximal femoral intercalary allograft reconstruction fixed by retrograde interlocking intramedullary nail. At her follow-up point of one year postoperatively, nonunion was observed in the proximal host-allograft junction. Therefore she underwent the second surgery of dynamization of the interlocking intramedullary nail. After 12 months' partial and full weight bearing exercise, bone union occurred. Our early observations show that dynamization of interlocking intramedullary nail can still be a useful means to treat nonunion of host- allograft junction if the local condition of the host and allograft bone are good enough.展开更多

However, it is difficult to achieve high recommendation accuracy and low time complexity because it is often very large and sparse and different citations have different purposes. What's more, some citations include unreasonable information, such as in case of intentional self-citation. To improve the accuracy of citation network-based academic recommendation and reduce the time complexity, we propose an academic recommendation method for recommending authors and papers. In which, an author-paper bilayer citation network is built, then an enhanced topic model, Author Community Topic Time Model(ACTTM) is proposed to detect high quality author communities in the author layer, and a set of attributes are proposed to comprehensively depict the author/paper nodes in the bilayer citation network. Experimental results prove that the proposed ACTTM can detect high quality author communities and facilitate low time complexity, and the proposed academic recommendation method can effectively improve the recommendation accuracy.展开更多

And loss of CD20 may contribute to it. Here we presented a case of loss of CD20 expression in relapsed diffuse large B cell lymphoma treated with rituximab and discuss the incidence, mechanism, influence factors, specific markers, prognosis and treatment of this disease. These results suggested that a post-relapse biopsy after rituximab treatment shguld be performed. CD79a and Pax-5 should be used as the first-line B lineage-specific markers for these patients. Though mechanisms of CD20 decrement are not fully elucidated, the down-regulation of CD20 mRNA is the most probable hypothesis. Recently various new agents are developed, but the prognosis is still poor. Further studies for new treatments are needed.展开更多

In this article, we reported one case of a 45-year-old woman who was admitted to our hospital (The Second People's Hospital of Hefei, China) for retroperitoneal neoplasm with perivascular epithelioid cell differentiation. The B ultrasonic examination showed echopoor in the region of cavitas pelvis. The histologic characteristics and immunohistochemical phenotype both revealed the neoplasm with perivascular epithelioid cell differentiation.展开更多
