Finally, a special case is studied to verify that VMI is an effective supply chain strategy that can not only increase channel profit of supplier and customer but also improve full channel coordination, thereby reducing the bullwhip effect.展开更多

Among all othe...A gate-all-around cylindrical (GAAC) transistor for sub-10nm scaling is proposed. The GAAC transistor device physics,TCAD simulation,and proposed fabrication procedure are reported for the first time. Among all other novel FinFET devices, the gate-all-around cylindrical device can be particularly applied for reducing the problems of the conventional multi-gate FinFET and improving the device performance and the scale down capability. According to our simulation,the gate-all-around cylindrical device shows many benefits over conventional multi-gate FinFET, including gate-all- around rectangular (GAAR) devices. With gate-all-around cylindrical architecture,the transistor is controlled by an essen- tially infinite number of gates surrounding the entire cylinder-shaped channel. The electrical integrity within the channel is improved by reducing the leakage current due to the non-symmetrical field accumulation such as the corner effect. The proposed fabrication procedures for devices having GAAC device architecture are also discussed. The method is characterized by its simplicity and full compatibility with conventional planar CMOS technology.展开更多

METHODS:Studies using the EMR technique to resect large colorecta...AIM:To evaluate the proportion of successful complete cure en-bloc resections of large colorectal polyps achieved by endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR). METHODS:Studies using the EMR technique to resect large colorectal polyps were selected.Successful complete cure en-bloc resection was defined as one piece margin-free polyp resection.Articles were searched for in Medline,Pubmed,and the Cochrane Control Trial Registry,among other sources. RESULTS:An initial search identified 2620 reference articles,from which 429 relevant articles were selected and reviewed.Data was extracted from 25 studies(n =5221)which met the inclusion criteria.All the studies used snares to perform EMR.Pooled proportion of en-bloc resections using a random effect model was 62.85%(95%CI:51.50-73.52).The pooled proportion for complete cure en-bloc resections using a random effect model was 58.66%(95%CI:47.14-69.71).With higher patient load(>200 patients),this complete cure en-bloc resection rate improves from 44.19%(95%CI: 24.31-65.09)to 69.17%(95%CI:51.11-84.61). CONCLUSION:EMR is an effective technique for the resection of large colorectal polyps and offers an alternative to surgery.展开更多

The wave propagations in the outer and inner soil dynamic response of a large diameter pipe pile in viscoelastic are simulated by three-dimensional elastodynamic theory and those in the pile are simulated by Rayleigh-Love rod theory. The vertical and radial displacements of the outer and inner soil are obtained by utilizing Laplace transform technique and differentiation on the governing equations of soils. Then, based on the continuous conditions between the pile and soils, the displacements of the pile are derived. The frequency domain velocity admittance and time domain velocity response of the pile top are also presented. The solution is compared to a classical rod model solution to verify the validity. The influences of the radii and Poisson ratio of pile on the transverse inertia effect of pile are analyzed. The parametric study shows that Poisson ratio and outer radius of pile have significant influence on the transverse inertia effect of large diameter pipe piles, while the inner radius has little effect.展开更多

As a result, it has become difficult to decide which middleware i...The past decade has witnessed a huge increase in the number of proposed middleware solutions for robotic fleets operating in unstructured environments. As a result, it has become difficult to decide which middleware is the most appropriate for a specific application or application domain. In this paper we first extract a set of common and specific challenges that middlewares address, and group them according to the source domain they have originated within. These challenges are derived from a specific precision agriculture use-case based on the robotic fleet for weed control elaborated within the European project RHEA-robot fleets for highly effective agriculture and forestry management. Furthermore, the paper provides an analysis of a number of different middlewares and suggests a set of criteria for systemizing representative solutions. The aim of this analysis is to assist the process of finding an adequate middleware for a specific application domain.展开更多

Methods: The blood pressure-decreasing effects of single administration and 14-day consecutive administration of Compound Mistletoe Fluidextract (CMF) in SHR and RHD were investigated and compared with that of Niuhuang Jiangya Wan (牛黄降压丸 Bezoar Hypertension-relieving Pills). Results: Both single administration and 14-day consecutive administration of CMF had significant hypotensive effects in SHR and RHD. Conclusion: The hypotensive action of CMF is gradual, but lasts for a longer period, with a dose-effect relationship in a range of doses.展开更多

We report on SiNW surface treatments and dielectric ...We explore 10-nm wide Si nanowire (SiNW) field-effect transistors (FETs) for logic applications, via the fabrication and testing of SiNW-based ring oscillators. We report on SiNW surface treatments and dielectric annealing, for producing SiNW FETs that exhibit high performance in terms of large on/off-state current ratio (-10s), low drain-induced barrier lowering (-30 mV) and low subthreshold swing (-80 mV/decade). The performance of inverter and ring-oscillator circuits fabricated from these nanowire FETs are also explored. The inverter demonstrates the highest voltage gain (-148) reported for a SiNW-based NOT gate, and the ring oscillator exhibits near rail-to-rail oscillation centered at 13.4 MHz. The static and dynamic characteristics of these NW devices indicate that these SiNW-based FET circuits are excellent candidates for various high-performance nanoelectronic applications.展开更多

Yet t...The progressive stacking of chalcogenide single layers gives rise to two- dimensional semiconducting materials with tunable properties that can be exploited for new field-effect transistors and photonic devices. Yet the properties of some members of the chalcogenide family remain unexplored. Indium selenide (InSe) is attractive for applications due to its direct bandgap in the near infrared, controllable p- and n-type doping and high chemical stability. Here, we reveal the lattice dynamics, optical and electronic properties of atomically thin InSe flakes prepared by micromechanical cleavage. Raman active modes stiffen or soften in the flakes depending on which electronic bonds are excited. A progressive blue-shift of the photoluminescence peaks is observed for decreasing flake thickness (as large as 0.2 eV for three single layers). First-principles calculations predict an even larger increase in the bandgap, 0.40 eV, for three single layers, and as much as 1.1 eV for a single layer. These results are promising from the point of view of the versatility of this material for optoelectronic applications at the nanometer scale and compatible with Si and III-V technologies.展开更多

However, the performance of the solution-processed TFTs is generally lower than that of the vacuum-deposited ones. In this article, the full-solution processed TFTs with zinc-tin-oxide(ZTO) semiconductor and aluminium(Al_2O_3) dielectrics were fabricated, and their mobilities in the saturation region are high. Besides, the effect of the Al_2O_3 dielectrics' preparation technology on ZTO TFTs' performance was studied. Comparing the ZTO TFTs using the spin-coated Al_2O_3 dielectrics of 1–4 layers, the ZTO TFT with 3-layer Al_2O_3 dielectrics achieved the optimal performance as its field-effect carrier mobility in the saturation region is 112 cm^2/V s, its threshold voltage is 2.4 V, and its on-to-off current ratio is 2.8×105. This is also the highest reported carrier mobility of the solution-processed ZTO TFTs.展开更多

A 30-year plot e...Soil organic carbon (SOC) and iron (Fe)-oxides are important contributors of aggregate stability in highly weathered soils, and they are influenced by groundwater management and straw application. A 30-year plot experiment with early rice (Oryza sativa L.)-late rice-winter fallow rotations was conducted using a upland clay soil in cement pools under shallow groundwater table at a depth of 20 am (SGT) aud deep groundwater table at a depth of 80 cm (DGT) to simulate the groundwater tables of two types of important paddy soils, gleyed paddy soils and hydromorphic paddy soils, respectively, in subtropical China. Soil redox potential (Eh) was measured in situ, and 0-20 cm soil samples were collected for the analyses of soil Fe-oxides, SOC, and aggregates under SGT or DGT with different straw application treatments, in order to evaluate the interaction of groundwater management and straw application on paddy soil aggregation and the relative importance of SOC or Fe-oxides on soil aggregation. The results showed that soil Eh was restricted by irrigation, and its variation was more significant under DGT than under SGT. The decreased soil Eh or reduced drying and wetting cycles under SGT resulted in more SOC accumulation with the straw application, had no effect on soil free Fe-oxides (Fed), significantly increased the amorphous Fe-oxide (Feo) and complex Fe-oxide contents, but decreased the crystalline Fe-oxide content (Fed-Feo). The soils under DGT had more macroaggregates than those under SGT, but the difference decreased with the straw application. It could be concluded that soil Fe-oxides were the principal contributing factor to the aggregation of paddy soils in subtropical China and SOC was also an important contributing factor.展开更多
The optical effect of a nanometer or sub-nanometer interfacial layer of condensed molecules surrounding individual nanomaterials such as single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) has been studied theoretically and exp...The optical effect of a nanometer or sub-nanometer interfacial layer of condensed molecules surrounding individual nanomaterials such as single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) has been studied theoretically and experimentally. This interfacial layer, when illuminated by light, behaves as an optical dipole lattice and contributes an instantaneous near field which enhances the local field on neighboring atoms, molecules, or nanomaterials, which in turn may lead to enhanced Rayleigh scattering, Raman scattering, and fluorescence. The theory of this interface dipole enhanced effect (IDEE) predicts that a smaller distance between the nanomaterials and the plane of the interracial layer, or a larger ratio of the dielectric constants of the interfacial layer to the surrounding medium, will result in a larger field enhancement factor. This prediction is further experimentally verified by several implementations of enhanced Rayleigh scattering of SWCNTs as well as in situ Rayleigh scattering of gradually charged SWCNTs. The interface dipole enhanced Rayleigh scattering not only enables true-color real-time imaging of nanomaterials, but also provides an effective means to peer into the subtle interfacial phenomena.展开更多

文摘We explore 10-nm wide Si nanowire (SiNW) field-effect transistors (FETs) for logic applications, via the fabrication and testing of SiNW-based ring oscillators. We report on SiNW surface treatments and dielectric annealing, for producing SiNW FETs that exhibit high performance in terms of large on/off-state current ratio (-10s), low drain-induced barrier lowering (-30 mV) and low subthreshold swing (-80 mV/decade). The performance of inverter and ring-oscillator circuits fabricated from these nanowire FETs are also explored. The inverter demonstrates the highest voltage gain (-148) reported for a SiNW-based NOT gate, and the ring oscillator exhibits near rail-to-rail oscillation centered at 13.4 MHz. The static and dynamic characteristics of these NW devices indicate that these SiNW-based FET circuits are excellent candidates for various high-performance nanoelectronic applications.
文摘The progressive stacking of chalcogenide single layers gives rise to two- dimensional semiconducting materials with tunable properties that can be exploited for new field-effect transistors and photonic devices. Yet the properties of some members of the chalcogenide family remain unexplored. Indium selenide (InSe) is attractive for applications due to its direct bandgap in the near infrared, controllable p- and n-type doping and high chemical stability. Here, we reveal the lattice dynamics, optical and electronic properties of atomically thin InSe flakes prepared by micromechanical cleavage. Raman active modes stiffen or soften in the flakes depending on which electronic bonds are excited. A progressive blue-shift of the photoluminescence peaks is observed for decreasing flake thickness (as large as 0.2 eV for three single layers). First-principles calculations predict an even larger increase in the bandgap, 0.40 eV, for three single layers, and as much as 1.1 eV for a single layer. These results are promising from the point of view of the versatility of this material for optoelectronic applications at the nanometer scale and compatible with Si and III-V technologies.

文摘Design-manufacturing chain (D-MC) is the most important link of the supply chain with the greatest possibility in cost reduction. How to strengthen the effective management of interracial relationship between designer and manufacturer and increase the efficency of interface management concerns the efficiency of the whole supply chain. In order to evaluate and improve the impacts of D-MC interfacial relationship, first we should construct the evaluation index system and then we should analyze the total cost and benefit of the interfacial relationship betterment, including the cost of member units in D-MC, the opportunity cost of cooperation partners, and the market returns resulted from the interfacial relationship improvement, which will advance the whole supply chain efficiency as well as enhance the management performance of D-MC.

文摘The full solution-processed oxide thin-film-transistors(TFTs) have the advantages of transparency, ease of large-area fabrication, and low cost, offering great potential applications in switching and driving fields, and attracting extensive research interest. However, the performance of the solution-processed TFTs is generally lower than that of the vacuum-deposited ones. In this article, the full-solution processed TFTs with zinc-tin-oxide(ZTO) semiconductor and aluminium(Al_2O_3) dielectrics were fabricated, and their mobilities in the saturation region are high. Besides, the effect of the Al_2O_3 dielectrics' preparation technology on ZTO TFTs' performance was studied. Comparing the ZTO TFTs using the spin-coated Al_2O_3 dielectrics of 1–4 layers, the ZTO TFT with 3-layer Al_2O_3 dielectrics achieved the optimal performance as its field-effect carrier mobility in the saturation region is 112 cm^2/V s, its threshold voltage is 2.4 V, and its on-to-off current ratio is 2.8×105. This is also the highest reported carrier mobility of the solution-processed ZTO TFTs.

文摘Soil organic carbon (SOC) and iron (Fe)-oxides are important contributors of aggregate stability in highly weathered soils, and they are influenced by groundwater management and straw application. A 30-year plot experiment with early rice (Oryza sativa L.)-late rice-winter fallow rotations was conducted using a upland clay soil in cement pools under shallow groundwater table at a depth of 20 am (SGT) aud deep groundwater table at a depth of 80 cm (DGT) to simulate the groundwater tables of two types of important paddy soils, gleyed paddy soils and hydromorphic paddy soils, respectively, in subtropical China. Soil redox potential (Eh) was measured in situ, and 0-20 cm soil samples were collected for the analyses of soil Fe-oxides, SOC, and aggregates under SGT or DGT with different straw application treatments, in order to evaluate the interaction of groundwater management and straw application on paddy soil aggregation and the relative importance of SOC or Fe-oxides on soil aggregation. The results showed that soil Eh was restricted by irrigation, and its variation was more significant under DGT than under SGT. The decreased soil Eh or reduced drying and wetting cycles under SGT resulted in more SOC accumulation with the straw application, had no effect on soil free Fe-oxides (Fed), significantly increased the amorphous Fe-oxide (Feo) and complex Fe-oxide contents, but decreased the crystalline Fe-oxide content (Fed-Feo). The soils under DGT had more macroaggregates than those under SGT, but the difference decreased with the straw application. It could be concluded that soil Fe-oxides were the principal contributing factor to the aggregation of paddy soils in subtropical China and SOC was also an important contributing factor.
文摘The optical effect of a nanometer or sub-nanometer interfacial layer of condensed molecules surrounding individual nanomaterials such as single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) has been studied theoretically and experimentally. This interfacial layer, when illuminated by light, behaves as an optical dipole lattice and contributes an instantaneous near field which enhances the local field on neighboring atoms, molecules, or nanomaterials, which in turn may lead to enhanced Rayleigh scattering, Raman scattering, and fluorescence. The theory of this interface dipole enhanced effect (IDEE) predicts that a smaller distance between the nanomaterials and the plane of the interracial layer, or a larger ratio of the dielectric constants of the interfacial layer to the surrounding medium, will result in a larger field enhancement factor. This prediction is further experimentally verified by several implementations of enhanced Rayleigh scattering of SWCNTs as well as in situ Rayleigh scattering of gradually charged SWCNTs. The interface dipole enhanced Rayleigh scattering not only enables true-color real-time imaging of nanomaterials, but also provides an effective means to peer into the subtle interfacial phenomena.
