杜国庠在郭沫若主持的军政部第三厅是一个重要人物,他既是郭沫若的主要助手,也是郭沫若的“代理人”,曾长期代替郭沫若坐镇第三厅。职务上也有所变迁,在七处三科科长、五处一科科长、第一科科长、第二科科长等岗位上任职;主要工作有编撰审核一般文字宣传材料,领导抗敌宣传队、孩子剧团和新安旅行团工作,率领先遣队驻扎衡山,也处理科(厅)内人员的奖惩与调动。通过档案文书的梳理,可还原杜国庠在第三厅的具体工作情形。也可从另一角度,深入了解周恩来、郭沫若对第三厅的领导情况,以及第三厅在抗战宣传方面的工作实绩。

The Spirit of Craftsmanship and Industrial Civilization

The spirit of craftsmanship applies to every trade. In the context of opportunities arising from the new industrial revolution and China＇s transition towards high-end manufacturing, Premier Li Keqiang put forward the concept of the spirit of craftsmanship. This paper reckons that the spirit of craftsmanship can be defined from six dimensions including dedication, standard, precision, innovation, perfection and human care. In fact, the spirit of craftsmanship abounds in China, as illustrated by the examples of Tongrentang and Haier. In comparing the three manufacturing powers of Germany, Japan and the United States, this paper reveals the differences in the connotations of the spirit of craftsmanship across these countries. According to specific national conditions and development stage, China must achieve structural re-engineering of corporate organizations at the level of firms, products, divisions and modules. In a nutshell, the spirit of craftsmanship is a core component of corporate and industrial civilization and it holds an important historic position in industrial and social civilization.

The 1787 Drama Dictionary as an Instrument of Enlightenment in Imperial Russia

The Russian theatre has not been neglected in the studies on theatre history, literary criticism and dramatic arts. The paper attempts to have a look at the 1787 Drama Dictionary, the first theatre reference book published in the country （with a very long Russian title containing 35 words） as a cultural product of the Enlightenment Age produced by its representative. In the introduction to the dictionary the compiler says that the publication would help young people develop a taste for refined entertainment and reject violent leisure activities of the past, enjoy theatre and learn life moral lessons from it. He considers theatre as a powerful means of changing Russian society as has been demanded by the Enlightenment Age. The structural and sociocultural analyses of 1787 Drama Dictionary materials give us an insight into some ways of westernising Russian society through theatre and how this westernisation was reflected in the theatre terminology of the time. I have argued that Russian-European Relationships resulting in the westernisation of Russian theatre theory and practices went hand in hand with the Russian translation-adaptation of Western plays and adaptation of some Western cultural patterns of social thinking and behaviour without rejecting completely the national identity in newly-born Russian dramatic literature.

Consumption and Culture： Understanding the Shaping of the New Brazilian Middle Class

In a recent historical process of economic stabilization and of social policies focused on the disadvantaged, major changes in the composition of the Brazilian social pyramid are happening. Driven by the increase of employment and income, in conditions of low inflation and abundant credit, millions of Brazilians have increased in recent years their purchasing power and started to acquire their own home and car--gaudiest symbols of joining the middle class--as well as a wide range of consumer goods. It appears that this set of transformations profoundly altered the perceptions and strategies of social mobility. So this phenomenon is being called the shaping of the new Brazilian middle class. The fact is that there is a group growing, sustained mainly by a decrease in income inequality. In this study, we attempted to draw a clear overview and some disagreements about the emergence of a new Brazilian middle class. On the topic of the emergence of a new Brazilian middle class, one can say that it is not a completely true fact, and that there was actually an expansion of the income of families who still harbor extreme ties with the working classes and why not, popular classes. What to some scholars would be the emergence of a new working class, whose average income is approaching the middle income of what is considered as the lower middle class？

Division and integration tendency of college students＇ political socialization

the political socialization of college students is the purpose of the individual to accept political culture in the historical, social, cultural and the specific interaction, formation of political attitude, the practice process of shaping the political people. Our country is in the period of social transition, this period of transformation of political, economic and cultural construction of the China different from traditional political culture atmosphere, in the impact of the global political factors, college students＇ political psychology, political attitude and political behavior has undergone a series of changes. These changes impact on the existing college students＇ political socialization outcomes, so that students show the political and social highlights issues in the process of social transformation. In this case,we should only study the college students＇ optimization approach of political socialization carefully, improve the level of Chinese college students＇ political socialization, to ensure China＇ s social transition in a stable order smoothly, develop socialist political requirements of qualified university students, so as to make the socialism prosperous.

Marx＇s Concept of Alienation： With a Brief Assessment

Since the collapse of Euro-Communism in 1989, the ideas of Marx have largely been discarded as little more than historical relics. There is a good reason for the neglect. The governments that Marxism spawns are among the most brutal in history. Equally condemnable for a philosopher who bases his theory on a science of historical development, most of Marx＇s key predictions turn out to be incorrect. What then is left of Marx＇s principles？ This paper argues that Marx is best understood as a critic of the injustice of industrial societies. Marx＇s essential critical concept is alienation. The paper presents the first complete analysis of Marx＇s treatment of alienation and offers a brief assessment of how this concept applies to our time.

Analyses between Chinese and England Culture through＂Government Office Worker Craze＂

In recent years, more and more people choose to become civil servants for stability of the work and respect of the society. Civil servants not only have a better treatment, but also a higher social status. However, the condition is not true in England. This thesis will demonstrate the current condition of ＂Government Office Worker Craze＂, meanwhile, analyze the reasons of this phenomenon by comparing with England. The thesis will firstly display the advantages and disadvantages of this phenomenon; then demonstrate traditional understanding of the two countries separately to find out common characters; the reason of ＂Government Office Worker Craze ＂ in China by exploring the historical cultures; finally, the thesis shows intersections between the two countries and give proper suggestions.

The Desert Spontaneous Plants Used in Saharan Phytotherapy： Case of Tidikelt Region

The local plant resources adapted to the desert harsh geomorphologicl environment are a landmark that characterizes the Saharan region： erg, dunes, and wadis. This work emphasizes on some results obtained through a study conducted in 2011, based on surveys and field observations in the Tidikelt oases （in Salah, wilaya of Tamenrasset） which is implanted in the south of Algeria. The objective was the study of traditional herbal medicine using the spontaneous medicinal herbs, which constitute one of the socio-cultural aspects of Saharan society in Algeria. Traditional medicine is one reflect of the knowledge and how to live of the local population. Desert people know the various herbs ＇Achebe＇, and its nomenclature. They indicated their site or places of local presence, as well as its own peculiarities and their uses. Our goal is to contribute in enhancing the interest of valorization of these plants in the therapeutic and eventually industrial uses. For that, we need to integrate this perspective into local economic development policies valuing the diversity of plant resources from Tidikelt in the Algerian Sahara.

Performance and application of Chinese traditional culture in Folk Photography

Since the beginning of human civilization, the existence of a variety of production and life, etiquette and other social customs are obvious. The invention of photography is natural firstly used to the performance of various phenomena of human existence. Not until 1993 did Folk photography was formally proposed and was quickly accepted by the public. Folk photographer should have a certain amount of theoretical knowledge of folklore, ethnology, anthropology, and folklore should familiar with the laws of photography. Folk photographer should not only be able to skillfully use a variety of photographic techniques to create photographer, but also have the ability of folklore studies, which means a certain level of theory and master certain research methods. Folk photography creative process is a cultural experience and explores the process of discovery. Folk photography is methods and means to record, release and heritage attending profound traditional Chinese culture. Folk photography through a unique form of expression, with its visual image, embodies the academic value of folk history, the development of human history, cultural heritage and makes a positive contribution to the spread. In the 21st century, China＇ s social stable, economic development rapidly, which provide a good folk photography authoring environment. Folk photography range will also change with the development of folk and continuously expanding, concerns and reflections about the new folk themes have yet to be excavated, to meet the needs of social development.

Accounting Research： A Synthetic View of Epistemological Differences

In this paper, a number of basic differences in the contemporary accounting research are explored： （1） American versus European research perspectives; （2） mathematically-based versus non-mathematically-based research approaches; （3） positive versus naturalistic methodologies; （4） objectivist versus subjectivist assumptions concerning the accounting craft; and （5） functionalist versus interpretive paradigms on the accounting theory. In this paper, the accounting literature is discerned from its methodological characteristics combined with some basic metaphors of accounting （e.g., accounting as the economic goods, the political output, the social process, or the cultural product）. Facing these differences, a synthetic view is called for to recognize the unique strengths of different perspectives. It is believed that different perspectives can enrich themselves by learning from each other. The synthetic view can then enhance the overall quality of the accounting research. Facing the wide-ranging needs of the contemporary accounting research, the important strategy is to match research methods/perspectives with research questions/purposes.

A Case Study of Classic Prose as a Psychological Tool in Reflection Writing

This paper presents a case study of second language （L2） writing from a sociocultural perspective and highlights the mediational role of a piece of classic prose, ＂Youth,＂ as a psychological tool in the reflection writing process. Sixty English majors from a Chinese university participated in the study. Data were collected through reflection writing and interviews and were treated with the grounded theory method. The findings showed that in the appropriation of the classic prose, students not only improved their language skills but also deepened their understanding of the theme, which contributed to the buildup of their philosophy of life in a meaningful way.
