The proposed model abandons the traditional concept of elastic-plastic yield surface and can better reflect the real behavior of rolled control concrete. Basic equations were proposed for the fluid-solid coupling analysis, and the relationships among the corresponding key physical parameters were also put forward. One three-dimensional finite element method (FEM) program was obtained by studying the FEM type of the seepage-stress coupling intersection of the RCCD. The method was applied to an actual project, and the results show that the fluid-solid interaction influences dam deformation and dam abutment stability, which is in accordance with practice. Therefore, this model provides a new method for revealing the mechanical behavior of RCCD under the coupling field.展开更多

Two theories are used. One is fully nonlinear theory; the other is time domain second order theory. A liquid sloshing in a rectangular container subjected to a horizontal excitation is simulated using these two theories. Numerical results are obtained and comparisons are made. It is found that a good agreement is obtained for the case of small amplitude oscillation. For the situation of large amplitude excitation, although the differences between using the two theories are obvious the second order solution can still exhibit typical nonlinear features of nonlinear wave.展开更多

First, the BCN under consideration is split into a finite number of subsystems with no time delays. Second, the observability of the BCN is verified by testing the observability of the so-called observability constructed path(a special subsystem without time delays) based on graph theory. These results extend the recent related results on the observability of BCNs. Examples are shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.展开更多

Thirdly, the combination of the mass entransy dissipation ex- tremum principle and the constructal theory for optimizing the mass transfer processes of disc-to-point and volume-to-point problems are summarized. The scientific features of the mass entransy dissipation extremam principle are emphasized.展开更多
