The upper level selects parkers' average satisfaction and the violation rate during peak hours as indices in object function, and sets probability distribution models describing dynamic parking demand of each site, the feasibility of shared parking scenarios and occupancy requirements during peak hours of each parking lot as restrictions. The simulation model in the lower level sets up rules to assign each parker in the random parking demand series to the proper parking lot. An iterative method is proposed to confirm the state of each parking lot at the start of formal simulations. Besides, two patterns linking initialization and formal simulation are presented to acquire multiple solutions. The results of the numerical examples indicate the effectiveness of the model and solution methods.展开更多
In order to explore the influence of welding parameters and to investigate the Al alloy (AA) nugget formation process, a comprehensive model involving electrical-thermal-mechanical and metallurgical analysis was estab...In order to explore the influence of welding parameters and to investigate the Al alloy (AA) nugget formation process, a comprehensive model involving electrical-thermal-mechanical and metallurgical analysis was established to numerically display the resistance spot welding (RSW) process within multiple fields and understand the AA-RSW physics. A multi-disciplinary finite element method (FEM) framework and a empirical sub-model were built to analyze the affecting factors on weld nugget and the underlying nature of welding physics with dynamic simulation procedure. Specifically, a counter-intuitive phenomenon of the resistance time-variation caused by the transient inverse virtual variation (TIVV) effect was highlighted and analyzed on the basis of welding current and temperature distribution simulation. The empirical model describing the TIVV phenomenon was used for modifying the dynamic resistance simulation during the AA spot welding process. The numerical and experimental results show that the proposed multi-field FEM model agrees with the measured AA welding feature, and the modified dynamic resistance model captures the physics of nugget growth and the electrical-thermal behavior under varying welding current and fluctuating heat input.展开更多

Industrial symbiosis, a sub-field of industrial ecology, engages traditionally separate industries in a collective approach, involving exchange of materials, energy, water, and/or by-products, to enhance competitive ability and environmental performance. To construct a symbiosis analysis method, this article employs a number of parameters embodying information about materials, energy and economics as the main essential parameters in system analysis and introduces symbiosis profit and symbiotic consumption elements as the economic indicators. A modeling and simulation program is designed using the agent-based modeling approach to simulate the evolvement of a hypothetical coal-based industrial system and the change of symbiosis conditions in the process of construction is examined. The simulation program built using the Swarm library, which is a freely available multi-agent simulation package, provides a useful demonstration for the symbiosis analysis method.展开更多

The purpose of the model is to investigate the specific traffic characteristics o...Based on the discrete time method, an effective movement control model is designed for a group of high- speed trains on a rail network. The purpose of the model is to investigate the specific traffic characteristics of high-speed trains under the interruption of stochastic irregular events. In the model, the high-speed rail traffic system is supposed to be equipped with the moving-block signalling system to guarantee maximum traversing capacity of the railway. To keep the safety of trains' movements, some operational strategies are proposed to control the movements of trains in the model, including traction operation, braking operation, and entering-station operation. The numerical simulations show that the designed model can well describe the movements of high-speed trains on the rail network. The research results can provide the useful information not only for investigating the propagation features of relevant delays under the irregular disturbance but also for rerouting and reseheduling trains on the rail network.展开更多

The precision of most traditional microseismic monitoring processes of mines, using TDOA location method in two-dimensional space to position the microseismic events, as well as the accuracy of positioning microseismic events, may be reduced by the two-dimensional model and simple method, and ill-conditioned equations produced by TDOA location method will increase the positioning error. This article, based on inversion theory, studies the mathematical model of TDOA location method, polariza- tion analysis location method, and comprehensive difference location method of adding angle factor in the traditional TDOA location method. The feasibility of three methods is verified by numerical simulation and analysis of the positioning error of them. The results show that the comprehensive location method of adding angle difference has strong positioning stability and high positioning accuracy, and it may reduce the impact effectively about ill-conditioned equations to positioning results. Forest fires are a major problem in many nations and fast e...This paper presents a scenario of forest fire suppression using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and addresses task assignment algorithm to coordinate UAVs. Forest fires are a major problem in many nations and fast extinguishing forest fires brings a lot of ecological advantages so proper use of firefighting resources is very critical. In this sense, multi UAVs forest fire suppression system can be effective way to prevent fire outbreaks. In multi agent system, an appropriate task assignment according to the SA (Situational Awareness) is the most essential to conduct mission. We should consider real time re-planning or re-scheduling of multi UAVs team because environmental situations such as wind are changeable and that changes affect the forest fire spreading. Furthermore, we have to think about convergence to a consistent SA because it may take too much time. CBBA (Consensus-Based Bundle Algorithm) is robust decentralized task assignment tool so it can be implemented in real time re-planning application. A simulation model which is the main topic in this paper shows that multi UAVs can be properly operated to suppress forest fires even if there are unpredictable random factors and partial disconnection. The simulation model includes concrete operating scenarios and recursive task re-assign algorithm until fires in the whole area are suppressed.展开更多

Due to the advantages of low cost,fast response and pollution resistance,digital hydraulic pump/motor can replace conventional variable hydraulic pump/motor in many application fields.However,digital hydraulic compone...Due to the advantages of low cost,fast response and pollution resistance,digital hydraulic pump/motor can replace conventional variable hydraulic pump/motor in many application fields.However,digital hydraulic components produce large hydraulic impact at variable moments,which will shorten the service life of mechanical components.Through the simulation analysis of the variable process of digital pump/motor,it is found that the discontinuous flow caused by displacement step changes is the fundamental cause of hydraulic impact.The data analysis results of experimental tests are in good agreement with the simulation analysis results.In view of hydraulic secondary components,a variable control method based on dual-mode operating characteristics is proposed.The TOPSIS algorithm is used to give comprehensive evaluation of the displacement control results after this method.The results show that the control quality of digital pump/motor after adopting the control method has been effectively improved,with an average improvement of about 40%.展开更多

The localization results under different values of Gaussian white noise and different density of beacon nodes are analyzes, and Kalman filtering algorithm is introduced to reduce the influence of signal noise. Finally, a simulation model of ITS is developed to test the algorithm based on mixed noise and Kalman filtering algorithm, which is used to simulate the localization of real vehicles. In this model, a low level layer can be used as a virtual axis by t...A layered modeling method is proposed to resolve the problems resulting from the complexity of the error model of a multi-axis motion control system. In this model, a low level layer can be used as a virtual axis by the high level layer. The first advantage of this model is that the complex error model of a four-axis motion control system can be divided into several simple layers and each layer has different coupling strength to match the real control system. The second advantage lies in the fact that the controller in each layer can be designed specifically for a certain purpose. In this research, a three-layered cross coupling scheme in a four-axis motion control system is proposed to compensate the contouring error of the motion control system. Simulation results show that the maximum contouring error is reduced from 0.208 mm to 0.022 mm and the integration of absolute error is reduced from 0.108 mm to 0.015 mm, which are respectively better than 0.027 mm and 0.037 mm by the traditional method. And in the bottom layer the proposed method also has remarkable ability to achieve high contouring accuracy.展开更多

First, from the point of view of the trajectory simulation, a g...This paper demonstrates that the application of calibration algorithms of aerodynamic parameters for the trajectory of spinning projectile is successful. First, from the point of view of the trajectory simulation, a general summary of well-known trajectory models is given. A five degrees of freedom (5 DOF) model is developed that can match the projectile motion essentially in the vertex region, and the results obtained by 5 DOF model are in close agreement with those of a more sophisticated 6 DOF model for elevation angles above 45 degrees. Secondly, the calibration algorithms have been developed and are summarized. The methods of calibrating the flight trajectory models are compared, and these methods are shown to be effective in the representative cases. In addition, the method of Math number calibration (MNC) is presented; some possible areas in MNC for further investigation are indicated together with benefits to be gained. The utilization of MNC schemes not only allow a worthwhile reduction of calibration rounds firing in range and accuracy (R&A) trial and production of firing tables (PFT) test, but also make PFT and fire control data (FCD) more cost effective.展开更多

文摘A surgical simulation and evaluation method in the anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstructionwith image-free navigation was presented.Firstly,video tracking module,bone surface reconstructionmodule and virtual simulation module of this system were discussed.Secondly,the coordinate relations ofseveral surgery objects(including surgical instrument,anatomical,camera and screen)in the surgicalenvironment,the tracking based on MicronTracker with two cameras and the bone surface real-time recon-struction based on the Delaunay algorithm were introduced in detail.Finally,experiments of anisometrymeasurement and virtual simulation on two plastics were carried out to verify the validity of the proposedmethod.The anisometry value of reconstructed ACL was 8.970039mm.The effectiveness of ACL recon-struction has been proved by preliminary evaluation trials.

文摘Due to the advantages of low cost,fast response and pollution resistance,digital hydraulic pump/motor can replace conventional variable hydraulic pump/motor in many application fields.However,digital hydraulic components produce large hydraulic impact at variable moments,which will shorten the service life of mechanical components.Through the simulation analysis of the variable process of digital pump/motor,it is found that the discontinuous flow caused by displacement step changes is the fundamental cause of hydraulic impact.The data analysis results of experimental tests are in good agreement with the simulation analysis results.In view of hydraulic secondary components,a variable control method based on dual-mode operating characteristics is proposed.The TOPSIS algorithm is used to give comprehensive evaluation of the displacement control results after this method.The results show that the control quality of digital pump/motor after adopting the control method has been effectively improved,with an average improvement of about 40%.
文摘This paper conducts research on the algorithm to improve the location of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). The localization algorithm introduced an improved RSSI vehicle localization algorithm based on multi-path effect and Gaussian white noise. The localization results under different values of Gaussian white noise and different density of beacon nodes are analyzes, and Kalman filtering algorithm is introduced to reduce the influence of signal noise. Finally, a simulation model of ITS is developed to test the algorithm based on mixed noise and Kalman filtering algorithm, which is used to simulate the localization of real vehicles. The simulation shows the algorithm has effect to improve location accuracy and to application

文摘A layered modeling method is proposed to resolve the problems resulting from the complexity of the error model of a multi-axis motion control system. In this model, a low level layer can be used as a virtual axis by the high level layer. The first advantage of this model is that the complex error model of a four-axis motion control system can be divided into several simple layers and each layer has different coupling strength to match the real control system. The second advantage lies in the fact that the controller in each layer can be designed specifically for a certain purpose. In this research, a three-layered cross coupling scheme in a four-axis motion control system is proposed to compensate the contouring error of the motion control system. Simulation results show that the maximum contouring error is reduced from 0.208 mm to 0.022 mm and the integration of absolute error is reduced from 0.108 mm to 0.015 mm, which are respectively better than 0.027 mm and 0.037 mm by the traditional method. And in the bottom layer the proposed method also has remarkable ability to achieve high contouring accuracy.
文摘The method of mathematical model and further computer simulation is an effective way to the theoretical study of emulsion polymerization and the scale-up of the reactors. In this work, Monte Carlo method has been used to simulate the nucleation of emulsion polymerization. The effects of emulsifier concentration [S] and initiator concentration [I] on various parameters such as the number of the particles (N p), the average diameter of the latex particles (D p), monomer conversion (x) and average radical number per particle (n) have been studied. The quantitative equations between [S], [I] and N p are in accord absolutely with the classical theory of Smith-Ewart.

文摘A novel multiple watermarks cooperative authentication algorithm was presented for image contents authentication.This algorithm is able to extract multiple features from the image wavelet domain,which is based on that the t watermarks are generated.Moreover,a new watermark embedding method,using the space geometric model,was proposed,in order to effectively tackle with the mutual influences problem among t watermarks.Specifically,the incidental tampering location,the classification of intentional content tampering and the incidental modification can be achieved via mutual cooperation of the t watermarks.Both the theoretical analysis and simulations results validate the feasibility and efficacy of the proposed algorithm.
文摘This paper demonstrates that the application of calibration algorithms of aerodynamic parameters for the trajectory of spinning projectile is successful. First, from the point of view of the trajectory simulation, a general summary of well-known trajectory models is given. A five degrees of freedom (5 DOF) model is developed that can match the projectile motion essentially in the vertex region, and the results obtained by 5 DOF model are in close agreement with those of a more sophisticated 6 DOF model for elevation angles above 45 degrees. Secondly, the calibration algorithms have been developed and are summarized. The methods of calibrating the flight trajectory models are compared, and these methods are shown to be effective in the representative cases. In addition, the method of Math number calibration (MNC) is presented; some possible areas in MNC for further investigation are indicated together with benefits to be gained. The utilization of MNC schemes not only allow a worthwhile reduction of calibration rounds firing in range and accuracy (R&A) trial and production of firing tables (PFT) test, but also make PFT and fire control data (FCD) more cost effective.
