Its sexual reproduction exhibited the characteristics of polygonum_type embryo sac formation. After the 3 megaspores at the micropylar end had degenerated, leaving only the chalazal megaspore in the nucellus, a nucellar cell adjacent to the megaspore differentiated into an aposporous initial, which later developed into a panicum_type embryo sac. It was an aposporous 4_nucleate embryo sac without chromosome reduction and composed of an egg, a single synergid and a central cell with 2 polar nuclei. The chalazal megaspore degenerated before the onset of the division in the aposporous initial cell.展开更多
High-quality and high-resolution precipitation data are the basis for mesoscale numerical weather forecasting,model verification,and hydrological monitoring,which play an important role in meteorological and hydrologi...High-quality and high-resolution precipitation data are the basis for mesoscale numerical weather forecasting,model verification,and hydrological monitoring,which play an important role in meteorological and hydrological disaster prevention and mitigation.In this study,high-density rain gauge data are used to evaluate the fusion accuracy of the China Meteorological Administration Multisource Precipitation Analysis System(CMPAS),and four CMPAS products with different spatial and temporal resolution and different data sources are compared,to derive the applicability of CMPAS.Results show that all the CMPAS products show high accuracy in the Sichuan Basin,followed by Panxi Area and the western Sichuan Plateau.The errors of the four products all rise with the increase in precipitation.CMPAS overestimates precipitation in summer and autumn and underestimates it in spring and winter.Overall,the applicability of these fused data in the Sichuan Basin is quite good.Due to the lack of observations and the influence of the terrain and meteorological conditions,the evaluation of CMPAS in the plateau area needs further analysis.展开更多

The performance of detection fusion was studied and compared based on the Neyman-Pearson principle when the binary phase shift keying (BPSK) and on-off keying (OOK) modes were used by the local sensors. The comparative simulation and analysis between the optimal likelihood ratio test and the proposed strategy was completed, and both the theoretical analysis and simulation indicate that using the proposed new strategy could improve the detection performance effectively. In theory, the proposed strategy of united detection fusion and communication is of great significance to the establishment of an underwater target detection system.展开更多

The result shows that, with the increase of distance, 1) the relative abundance of non-hydrocarbon (CO2) and hydrocarbon (CH4) increase while the relative abundance of hydrocarbon (C2+) decreases (the relative abundance of hydrocarbon (C5+) can be basically negligible); 2) the relative abundance of benzene and methylbenzene increase in the initial time and then decrease. The carbon and hydrogen isotopes of methane vary slightly, which can be regarded as indicators of gas dissolved in water formation.展开更多

How RSV enters an insect cell to initiate the infection cycle is poorly understood. Sequence analysis revealed that the RSV NSvc2 protein was similar to the membrane glycoproteins of several members in the family Bunyaviridae and might induce cell membrane fusion. To conveniently study the membrane fusion activity of NSvc2, we constructed cell surface display vectors for expressing Nsvc2 on the insect cell surface as the membrane glycoproteins of the enveloped viruses. Our results showed that NSvc2 was successfully expressed and displayed on the surface of insect Sf9 cells. When induced by low pH, the membrane fusion was not observed in the cells that expressed NSvc2. Additionally, the membrane fusion was also not detected when co-expressing Nsvc2 and the viral capsid protein on insect cell surface. Thus, RSV NSvc2 is probably different from the phlebovirus counterparts, which could suggest different functions. Induced ...The mature Shiga toxin B (StxB) gene was optimized and generated by overlapping PCR. Recombinant expression vector pQE40-DHFR/StxB was constructed when the gene was cloned into pQE fusion expression vector. Induced by Isopropyl β-D-thiogalactoside (IPTG), the DHFR/StxB fusion protein was highly expressed to the level of 41.36% in E. coli MI5 cells. The 35 kDa fusion protein with a 6 His-tag was one-step purified from inclusion bodies using Ni-NTA affinity chromatography column under denaturing conditions, and was refolded by dialyzing with a decreasing urea gradient. Purified DHFR/StxB fusion protein was used to immunize Kunming mice for generating the ascitic polyclonal antibody against recombinant StxB protein by injecting sarcoma 180 cells and the titer ofascitic polyclonal antibody is up to 1: 1× 10^6 detected by the indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assy (ELISA). Western immunoblotting analysis revealed that the ascitic polyclonal antibody against StxB had a specific affinity for a 70 kDa shiga toxin protein of Shigella dysenteriae type 1. It is a new simple and quick method to produce a large amount of ascitic polyclonal antibody. The antibody is used to develop immunological method for detecting shiga toxin.展开更多
