和式太极拳由清末武术家和兆元(1810～1890)创编，素有“三合一”拳架之称，即拳架、推手、散手三者有机结合。拳架如老梅之枝，质朴无华，却技击性极强，招招蕴涵搏击之意，势势技法鲜明。与人交手时沾连粘随，随曲就伸，舍己从人，轻灵之间“听”得准对方虚实、轻重、攻击之意，引劲落空，在得机得势之间。

Forestry ecological footprint in China during 1973–2003

The ecological footprint （EF） model has received much attention as an assessment indicator for sustainable development in recent years. Firstly, the temporal changes of domestic timber production, imports and exports in China were analyzed from 1973 to 2003, the analysis results showed an apparent fluctuation in timber production during 1973-1995 but a decreasing trend during 1995-2002, an increasing trend in timber imports since 1995 especially after the implementation of the Natural Forest Protection Project （NFPP）, an decreasing trend year by year in timber exports since 1995. Secondly, this paper presented a time series analysis of actual forest area demand in the sustainable yield and production approach in China from 1973 to 2003, which includes both import and export forest area demand. The results showed the actual forest area demand simulated from the sustainable yield approach was slightly higher than that from the production approach during 1978-1988 and a little lower during 1989-2003; however, the actual forest area demands simulated by these two model approaches were larger than calculations that expressed in conventional forest EF. Meanwhile, the results indicated the forestry development in China during 1978-1988 was unsustainable due to overexploitation of forest stocking volumes, and China＇s forestry moved toward sustainable development since 1989 because forest resources are exploited at lower rates than they are regenerated. However, compared to forestry developed countries, the forestry development capacity in China is still lower. Finally, based on the model results we analyzed the relationships between forestry EF and the key policies, including trade policy, economic policy and forest conservation programs. In addition, several suggestions about reducing forestry EF and enhancing sustainable forestry development in China are given.

终端区进场流的路径选择研究

在实际运行中,通常依据管制员的经验对进场航班流的路径进行管理,缺乏科学性。针对终端区进场流的路径选择与进场排序的流量管理问题,以进场航班的总完成时间最短为目标,建立基于时间窗与位置约束的路径选择与排序的数学模型。采用先选择路径再排序的循环寻优的方法进行求解,将禁忌搜索(TS)与排序算法相结合,设计了TS-FCFS与TS-DP两种算法,着重建立了基于关键路径的邻域结构,并加入有效的重置(RESTAR)策略,使算法快速有效的收敛至最优解。最后借助SIMMOD仿真平台验证算法的可行性。以北京首都机场21架航班为例,仿真结果显示,TS-FCFS与TS-DP两种方法较原计划的进场路径总完成时间分别节约了149s与175s。该路径选择算法降低了进场时间,提高了终端区进场效率。通过合理优化进场航班流的路径选择与进场排序,平衡了跑道负荷,减少了航空器间潜在的冲突,同时为管制员调配进场航班流提供了合理有效的路径选择建议。

The spirit of Henry Norman Bethune and gastroenterology

Henry Norman Bethune was a physician and surgeon from Canada. He had a highly impressive medical career in Montreal but did his most important work in China where he cared for soldiers on the battlefield. He died in 1939 and was recognized as a hero, but only much later received recognition in Canada. He was a skilled doctor, both as a physician and as a surgeon. However, he was much more and will serve as an inspiration for this series. He was an innovator, an idealist and a perfectionist. It is hoped that this series will gather expert commentaries on a range of issues critical to the subspecialty from fundamental science to clinical care so that future directions can be defined.

Privacy-Preserving Prepayment Based Power Request and Trading in Smart Grid

Demand response has been intensively studied in recent years. It can motivate customers to change their consumption patterns according to the dynamic(time-varying) electricity price, which is considered to be the most cost-effective and reliable solution for smoothing the demand curve. However, many existing schemes, based on users' demand request in each period, require users to consume their requested electricity exactly, which sometimes causes inconvenience and losses to the utility, because customers cannot always be able to consume the accurate electricity demand due to various personal reasons. In this paper, we tackle this problem in a novel approach. Instead of charging after consumption, we adopt the prepayment mechanism to implement power request. Furthermore, we propose a trading market running by the control center to cope with the users' dynamic demand. It is noteworthy that both users' original demand and trading records are protected against potential adversaries including the curious control center. Through the numerical simulation, we demonstrate that our scheme is highly efficient in both computation and communication.

Migration in the Middle Asia and Its Effects on the Labor Market

Many Middle Asia countries declaring their independence after the splitting of the Soviet Union, cannot meet the economical and social needs of their citizens by falling much behind of the era in terms of industry despite the natural wealth they have. In addition to all these, the problems in the ruling class and the chaos environment have resulted in the migration of many people to alternative living spaces. These migrations have affected labor market both positively and negatively besides the social life. The labor demand increased by the entrance of the immigrants into the market has affected the employee wages and also this situation has affected the life standards of the citizens In this study, the migration that took place in the countries established after the splitting of the Soviet Union, forming one of the two poles of the world before the cold war, and the effects of this migration on the labor market have been analyzed considering previous studies on the subject. The trial of oil displacement driven by natural gas injection in China has been successfully accomplished recently for the first time in Zhongyuan Oilfield, Henan Province. This technology is ready for oilfield application in July.

Lived experiences with unmet supportive care needs in pediatric cancer:Perspective of Chinese children and their parents

Objective:Unmet supportive care needs(SCNs)impact pediatric cancer patients and their parents.This study aimed to explore the unmet SCNs from the perspective of Chinese children with cancer and their parents through lived experiences.Methods:The data of this study was collected using face-to-face semi-structured interviews.The participants were recruited from the oncology units of three children’s hospitals in China’s cities(Shanghai,Guangzhou,and Hefei)from October 2020 to December 2021.Data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s sevenstep phenomenological analysis method.Results:Eight pediatric cancer patients and twenty-four parents were enrolled in the study.Four main themes and eight subthemes(both children’s and parent’s perspectives)were generated:1)meeting the ongoing needs along the cancer trajectory(can you tell me what comes next;our needs are growing);2)communicating with a family focus(they only talk to my parents;let each family member have a voice);3)providing care beyond the treatment(I am bigger than my body[the children’s needs for emotional consolidation and information about their prognosis];there are things beyond treatment);4)getting support from the community(I am not a monster[the children were unhappy about being treated differently];we want to connect with the resources near us).Conclusion:This study revealed multiple unmet SCNs from the perspective of Chinese children with cancer and their parents.The findings call for comprehensive and in-depth supportive care beyond treatment,integration of the family member voice in pediatric cancer care,and a coordinated pediatric cancer support mechanism in the Chinese healthcare system.

Chinese Brands at the Crossroad？ Demand State in Kerala Markets

Globalization and liberalization offer competitive openings for several world brands to the Indian markets. Bestowed with growing disposable incomes, Kerala consumers exhibit wide diversity in their buying habits. Apparently, the emerging fascination for imported brands impels distributers to leave enough space to shelf more ＂made in China＂ brands in their showrooms. The substantial increase in consumers＇ demand for imported goods with considerable attraction for ＂made in China＂ products inspired this study to explore the demand state for various types of Chinese products in the Indian regional markets. Divided into two stages, at first, with a primary survey, the study explores the consumers＇ perception towards selected five vastly available consumer durables such as electrical appliances, handicrafts, stationeries, toys and builds wares. Later, the demand matrix developed from the primary data defines the types of demand prevailing for each category of＂made in China＂ products based on their popularity and consumption in Kerala markets.

Comparative Study on Egyptian Nuclear Research Centers

This paper aims to study the architectural design and planning of the Egyptian nuclear research centers. Three Egyptian nuclear research centers and the proposed nuclear research center have been studied. These centers are the Nuclear Research Center in Inshas, the Hot laboratories and Waste Management Center in Inshas, the National Center for Radiation Research and Technology in Nasr City and the proposed Nuclear Research Center in North Western Coast of Egypt. Also, the paper aims to study the functions of these centers, as well as the types of their existing facilities. The paper investigates the principles and standards used in design and planning of these nuclear research centers. A comparative study has been conducted to those four nuclear research centers to evaluate the centers according to the site characteristics and the basic safety factors. The results were compared to determine the best design and planning. The proposed Nuclear Research Center in North Western Coast of Egypt proved to be the best among all with regard to design and planning, taking into consideration the radiation safety requirements. The architects are recommended to design and plan the nuclear research centers, taking into consideration the radial planning concept because it is the best with regard to radiation safety requirements.

Transfer payments from the central government to the local governments and the local governments' efforts on taxation: taking China as an example

The influence of the transfer payments from the central government to the local governments on the local governments＇ efforts on taxation must be taken into consideration by every country for the design of the transfer payments. Based on the theoretical analysis on the influence of the transfer payments from the central government to the local governments＇ on the local governments＇ payments＇, this paper indicates that the local governments＇ efforts on taxation depends on the demand elasticity of the district for public goods, It increases with the increase of the elasticity. Judge the degree of the local govet：nment＇s efforts on taxation by measure 2. After an empirical analysis on the transJer payments from the central government to the local governments＇from 2000 to 2004, this paper gets the con- clusion that the local governments＇ effbrts on taxation ctbates with the increase of supporting payments or with the increase of the ratio of transfer payments to local wiliing public paymentS. Under speCific Circumstances, the higher the ratio of transfer payments to the local fiscal expenditure is. the smaller the local governments＇ efforts＇ on taxation is＂ under the central payments, whereas＇ the higher the local income is, the higher the efforts is under the central pav- ments. Requirements and Strategy of China Mobile on 100-Gb/s Based Wavelength Division Multiplexing Systems

In recent years, the booming band- width demands of dedicated mobile services have driven the rapid development of optical transport networks （OTNs）. Through the in- novative use of emerging coherent optical communication technology and the advance- ment of microelectronics technology, the new-generation 100Gb/s transport technology offers a high line rate and unprecedented re- silience to optical transmission impairments. This paper overviews the bandwidth demands of China Mobile driven by the upcoming roll- out of Time Division-Long Term Evolution （TD-LTE） and presents the 100Gb/s trials at China Mobile that were used to verify the performance of a lOOGb/s system. China Mo- bile＇s considerations, which were based on the trial results, regarding the deployment of lOOGb/s transport systems are introduced, and the requirements of China Mobile for the evo- lution of lOOGb/s transport systems are sum- marized.

Community nurses＇ knowledge need toward traditional chinese medicine and related factors in China： A cross-sectional survey

Purpose：The aim of the study was to examine the knowledge need toward Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） in nurses who worked in Community Health Centers, and to explore the related factors in the current situation of China. Subject and setting： Participants worked in five community health centres across Chaoyang Beijing, and each com- munity health centre includes 4-7 health stations. A questionnaire survey was administered to 218 registered commu- nity nurses using cluster sampling. The investigation was conducted after obtaining informed consent from each par- ticipant. Design： A descriptive cross-sectional design was used to gather data in this study. Instruments： The survey tool was a 5-point Likert-type questionnaire designed by experts in TCM and related fields, which had good face va- lidity and internal consistency. Results： The nursing technology of TCM scored highest score in our research （42.87±5.74）. Next came disease prevention in TCM （21.02±2.67）. The lowest mean score was for the usage of Chinese herbal medicine （15.03±2.77）. The significant related factors for nurses＇ knowledge need towards TCM were educa- tional background （P 〈 0.05）, working unit （P 〈 0.01）, ＂on-the-job training on TCM＂ （P 〈 0.01） and ＂have studied lit- erature on Chinese medicine＂ （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusion： This results suggest nurses working in community care would like to learn more about TCM. Improving community nurses＇ understanding and learning of TCM can promote the application and promotion of TCM nursing technology in the community. Therefore, we could adopt targeted education for community nurses, in order to meet their knowledge needs, and to promote the application of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge to the community.

Forecasting China's Labor Supply and Demand and the Unemployment Structure in the 13th Five-Year-Plan Period

The changes in labor supply and demand are important factors affecting economic growth.The purpose of this paper is to predict and analyze the trends in China's labor supply and demand during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period and the longer period in the future.The scale and structure of the annual new entrants of labor force are predicted by accounting the numbers who are leaving from various stages of education.while trends of labor demand are predicted according to employment elasticity from the experience of industrialization of developed countries. The results show that, during the 13 th FiveYear Plan period.the scale of the new added labor would decrease slightly, with an average annual increment of around 15.68 million. At the same time.labor demand would increase steadily, with annually 15.42 million employment opportunities. Labor supply and demand would be roughly balanced; however,there would be increasing structural contradictions of the labor market.Based on the analysis of labor supply and demand,we provide an estimation of the unemployment scale of the 40's and 50's generations,migrant workers and college graduates,and discuss policy suggestions on promoting employment of college graduates.

Forecast of Air Traffic Controller Demand Based on SVR and Parameter Optimization

As the main body of air traffic control safety,the air traffic controller is an important part of the whole air traffic control system. According to the relevant data of civil aviation over the years,a mapping model between flight support sorties and air traffic controller demand is constructed by using the prediction algorithm of support vector regression(SVR) based on grid search and cross-validation. Then the model predicts the demand for air traffic controllers in seven regions. Additionally,according to the employment data of civil aviation universities,the future training scale of air traffic controller is predicted. The forecast results show that the average relative error of the number of controllers predicted by the algorithm is 1.73%,and the prediction accuracy is higher than traditional regression algorithms. Under the influence of the epidemic,the demand for air traffic controllers will decrease in the short term,but with the control of the epidemic,the demand of air traffic controllers will return to the pre-epidemic level and gradually increase. It is expected that the controller increment will be about 816 by 2028. The forecast results of the demand for air traffic controllers provide a theoretical basis for the introduction and training of medium and long-term air traffic controllers,and also provide method guidance and decision support for the establishment of professional reserve and dynamic control mechanism in the air traffic control system.

The Analysis of Secure HARQ with Chase Combining over Block Fading Channel

In this letter, the physical layer security of hybrid automatic repeat request with chase combining(HARQ-CC) scheme is investigated from the viewpoint of information theory. Different from the literature which used Wyner code, our analysis focuses on the general scenario without specific code. We firstly obtain the outage probability of both main channel and wiretap channel. Since retransmissions are completely determined by main channel, we then prove that its achievable diversity order equals to maximum transmission number() while this order of wiretap channel is only one. Furthermore, we evaluate the metric of secure gap which demonstrates the difference between main channel and wiretap channel with reliable and secure constraints. As increases, the secure gap decreases monotonously. When is large enough, the security can be guaranteed even if wiretap channel is better than main channel.
