Meiofauna samples from intertidal sediments of Qingdao No.2 Bathing Beach, China, were collected for field study, and subjected to organic enrichment in a laboratory microcosm experiment for 21 d. There were three different treatments including non-organic addition as the control, low-organic enrichment (2 g DW green algae per 150 mL) and high-organic enrichment (10 g DW green algae per 150 mL). After 21 d, the meiofauna richness decreased in both organic enrichment treatments. Among the three treatments, total meiofauna abundance was significantly different, and the control groups had higher abundance than the other two treatment groups. However, the responses of the meiofauna abundance in the two organic enrichment treatments were non-significantly different. The relationship of meiofaunal abundance and nematode/copepod ratios to organic matter and oxygen level in the microcosm experiments were discussed. 展开更多

The feasibility of separation of lead anode slime with low silver by vacuum distillation was analyzed theoretically. The volatilization rates and mass fractions of elements, influenced by distillation temperature, heat preservation time and material thickness, were investigated under laboratory conditions. The experimental results indicate that almost all of lead and bismuth can be separated from silver-contained multicomponent alloy at 1 223 K for 45 min when the chamber pressure maintains at 10-25 Pa. Silver can be easily enriched in the residue and its mass fraction increases from 3.6% to 27.8% when the distillation temperature is between 1 133 K and 1 373 K. Due to the forming ofintermetallic compounds Cu2Sb, Cul0Sb3 and Ag3Sb, the antimony could not be evaporated completely during the vacuum distillation. EDS analysis indicates that the condensate has a columnar crystal structure. 展开更多

We present an efficient two-step entanglement concentration protocol(ECP)for three-level atoms trapped in one-sided optical micro-cavities in an arbitrary three-particle less-entangled W state,using the coherent state input-output process in low-Q cavity quantum electrodynamics system.In each step of the new proposed protocol,one of the three remote users prepares the auxiliary coherent optical pulses to perform cavity input-output process and then utilizes the standard homodyne measurement to discriminate the final outgoing coherent states.When both of the two steps are successful,remote parties can deterministically concentrate the less-entangled W state atoms to a standard maximally entangled W state.Compared with previous ECPs for W state,this protocol has some advantages and can be widely used in current quantum repeater and some quantum information processing tasks. 展开更多
