Electrophoretic display(EPD) technology has become one of the main supporting pillars of the electronic paper display industry.Despite its benefits,the EPD technology suffers from several disadvantages such as non-fixed threshold voltage value for gray scale display.In addition,the display has to repeatedly refresh between white and black states to eliminate ghost image when it needs to update a new image.The traditional driving waveform for the EPD includes four stages: erasing the original image,resetting to black state,clearing to white state,and writing a new image.A flicker can be found when transferring between two adjacent stages.A new driving waveform based on the improvement of activation pattern is proposed to weaken the ghost image and reduce the flicker.Experimental results show that the proposed driving waveform could weaken the ghost image effectively and reduce the number of flickers by 50%.Compared with the traditional driving waveform,the driving waveform of this work has a better performance. 展开更多

Currently e-books gained popularity caused by interactive new media technology and at the same time, the traditional paper books also face enormous challenges. The concepts of interactive new media and e-books were analyzed in this paper. The different design between interactive new media e-books and paper books has been analyzed comparatively, especially from the perspective of the design and layout from the text, colors, images, audio design and cover design to explore the different design between interactive new media e-books and paper books. Finally, under the background of lnternet economic development, interactive new media e-books will be a promising product. 展开更多

The shortcomings of oil-immersed transformer solid insulation like low high-temperature resistance of the insulation paper and the uneven distribution of electric field caused by the large difference of dielectric constants between insulation paper and transformer oil,restricted the development of transformer with smaller size and larger capacity.In view of this situation and the transformer’s demand for the dielectric physicochemical and mechanical property of insulation material,polycarbonate,polyester film and polyphenylene sulfide with high high-temperature resistance were chosen for the comparison analysis in this paper We did the 300-day thermal aging experiment on four samples in transformer oil under different aging temperatures of90°C,110°C and 130°C,then analyzed the changes of their dielectric properties.The experiment results are as follows;the permittivity and dielectric dissipation factor of the three polymer materials are apparently smaller than those of the paper both before and after 300-day aging;the volume resistivity and partial discharge inception voltage of the three materials are higher than those of the paper both before and after aging;and the breakdown field strength of polycarbonate is higher than that of the paper both before and after aging,while that of polyester film and polyphenylene sulfide are slightly lower than that of the paper. 展开更多
