The electronic structure,magnetic,and optical properties of two-dimensional(2D)GaSe doped with rare earth elements X(X=Sc,Y,La,Ce,Eu)were calculated using the first-principles plane wave method based on den-sity functional theory.The results show that intrinsic 2D GaSe is a p-type nonmagnetic semiconductor with an indi-rect bandgap of 2.6611 eV.The spin-up and spin-down channels of Sc-,Y-,and La-doped 2D GaSe are symmetric,they are non-magnetic semiconductors.The magnetic moments of Ce-and Eu-doped 2D GaSe are 0.908μ_(B)and 7.163μ_(B),which are magnetic semiconductors.Impurity energy levels appear in both spin-up and spin-down chan-nels of Eu-doped 2D GaSe,which enhances the probability of electron transition.Compared with intrinsic 2D GaSe,the static dielectric constant of the doped 2D GaSe increases,and the polarization ability is strengthened.The ab-sorption spectrum of the doped 2D GaSe shifts in the low-energy direction,and the red-shift phenomenon occurs,which extends the absorption spectral range.The optical reflection coefficient of the doped 2D GaSe is improved in the low energy region,and the improvement of Eu-doped 2D GaSe is the most obvious. 展开更多

The reverse magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)energy bypass technology is a promising energy redis⁃tribution technology in the scramjet system,in augmented with a power generation equipment to supply the neces⁃sary long-distance flight airframe power.In this paper,a computational model of the scramjet magnetohydrody⁃namic channel is developed and verified by using the commercial software Fluent.It is found that when the mag⁃netic induction intensity is 1,2,3,4 T,the power generation efficiency is 22.5%,22.3%,22.0%,21.5%,and decreases with the increase of the magnetic induction intensity,and the enthalpy extraction rate is 0.026%,0.1%,0.21%,0.34%,and increases with the increase of the magnetic induction intensity.The deceleration ef⁃fect of electromagnetic action on the airflow in the power channel increases with the increase of magnetic induc⁃tion intensity.The stronger the magnetic field intensity,the more obvious the decreasing effect of fluid Mach num⁃ber in the channel.The power generation efficiency decreases as the magnetic induction intensity increases and the enthalpy extraction rate is reversed.As the local currents gathering at inlet and outlet of the power generation area,total temperature and enthalpy along the flow direction do not vary linearly,and there are maximum and minimum values at inlet and outlet.Increasing the number of electrodes can effectively regulate the percentage of Joule heat dissipation,which can improve the power generation efficiency. 展开更多

The effects of ro... Copper is susceptible to producing corrosion problems in corrosive environments, which leads to serious safety problems. Thus, investigating the corrosion behavior of copper is of great significance. The effects of rotating electromagnetic field on corrosion behavior of T2 copper in 3.5% sodium chloride solution with electrochemical measurements were investigated. The results showed that rotating electromagnetic field changed properties of 3.5% sodium chloride solution by increasing the values of temperature and pH and decreasing the values of conductivity and dissolved oxygen. The rotating electromagnetic field improved the corrosion resistance of T2 copper. The corrosion products of T2 copper in treated 3.5% sodium chloride solution were composed of Cu20 and CuCl. The low corrosion rate of T2 copper was resulted from the decrease of dissolved oxygen in 3.5% sodium chloride solution treated by rotating electromagnetic field. 展开更多

Al-doped ZnO thin films were prepared on glass substrate using an ultra-high density target by RF magnetron sputtering at room temperature. The microstructure, surface morphology, optical and electrical properties of AZO thin films were investigated by X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope, UV-visible spectrophotometer, four-point probe method, and Hall-effect measurement system. The results showed that all the films obtained were polycrystalline with a hexagonal structure and average optical transmittance of AZO thin films was over 85 % at different sputtering powers. The sputtering power had a great effect on optoelectronic properties of the AZO thin films, especially on the resistivity. The lowest resistivity of 4.5×10^-4 Ω·cm combined with the transmittance of 87.1% was obtained at sputtering power of 200 W. The optical band gap varied between 3.48 and 3.68 eV. 展开更多

Novel headstand pyrocarbon cones (HPCs) with hollow structure were developed on the surfaces of pyrocarbon layers of the carbon/carbon (C/C) composites at 650-750 °C by the electromagnetic-field-assisted chemical vapor deposition in the absence of catalysts. The fine microstructures of the HPCs were characterized by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. The results show that the textural features of the HPCs directly transfer from turbostratic structure in roots to a well-ordered high texture in stems. And the degree of high texture ordering decreases gradually from the stem to the tail of the HPCs. The formation mechanism of the HPCs was inferred as the comprehensive effect of polarization induction on electromagnetic fields and particle-filler property under disruptive discharge. 展开更多

The effects of Fe2O3 content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system were investigated by differential thermal analysis(DTA), X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), electron spin resonance(ESR), and Mssbauer spectroscopy. The results show that the addition of Fe2O3 does not affect the main crystalline phase in the prepared glasses, but it reduces the crystallisation peak temperature, increases the crystallisation activation energy, and reduces the crystal granularity. The ESR results indicate that Fe2O3 can promote crystallization, as it leads to the phase separation of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system due to axial distortion. Moreover, Fe2O3 alters the network structure of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system, allowing Fe3+ to enter octahedral sites that exhibit higher symmetry than tetrahedral sites. All of these factors are favourable to increasing the bending strength. The Mssbauer results reveal that there are two types of coordination for both Fe3+ and Fe2+ and the bending strength of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system increases with the amount of six-coordinate Fe3+. The increasing interaction between Fe3+ and Fe2+ can also enhance the bending strength of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system. The microhardness of the CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system was determined to be HV 896.9 and the bending strength to be 217 MPa under the heat treatment conditions of nucleation temperature of 700 °C and nucleation time of 2 h, crystallization temperature of 910 °C and crystallization time of 3 h. 展开更多

Its Curie temperature reaches as high as 320K and its technology is compatible with current IC. Moreover, the process includes three annealing steps,named HNH annealing in this paper. Each step during this annealing has been analyzed. Comparisons have been made with different Fe concentrations and experimental results demonstrate that when the concentration of Fe is 0. 051, the Curie temperature is the highest. A hybrid technique is developed for the evaluation of two dimensional electromagnetic scattering from electrically large conducting bodies with cracks on their surfaces (TE case). The edge based finite element method (FEM) is employed to compute the scattering from the cracks. Physical optics (PO) and physical theory of diffraction (PTD) are utilized to evaluate the scattering from the large bodies with the cracks filled with perfect conductors. These two methods are combined by an efficient coupling scheme. Some of numerical results are presented. It is shown that the hybrid technique has some advantages over other methods in regard to saving computer memory units and CPU time. 展开更多

A successful case history of exploring for concealed structure using the high-resolution EM method in the investigation of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project's B Tunnel is presented in this paper. The high frequency electromagnetic image system named STRATAGEM EH4, operating at frequencies ranging from 90KHz to 1Hz, was used for data acquisition. The orthogonal components of the electromagnetic field were measured during the field acquisition and the relevant electromagnetic attributes of the object body were extracted from the electromagnetic data. Hybrid sources, consisting of natural and full tensor-controlled sources, were utilized to produce high-quality electromagnetic field data. B Tunnel lies in the western part of Hubei province, at depths of less than 200m. The geologic setting of B tunnel is very complex. Following an initial geologic investigation, an outcrop considered to be a bedrock interface by investigators, collapsed during tunneling operations. A second investigation applied high-resolution EM and seismic refraction methods to reveal a more complex geologic structure along the tunnel route. The predicted rock classes and fault were encountered during the subsequent tunneling operations. 展开更多

Accuracy of time-depth conversion in data processing of transient electromagnetic prospecting always affects the accu- rate positioning of water bodies in coal mines. In order to improve the accuracy of time-depth conversion, we established a mathe- matical model of time-depth conversion for a transient electromagnetic method based on the theory of "double smoke ring effect" of full space transient electromagnetic field transmission. Using a 3-layer as well as a 4-layer geo-electric model for roadway floors, we performed the time-depth conversion of theoretical curves of apparent resistance varying over time. In these curves, the depth corresponding to extreme value points is nearly the same as the depth of a geo-electric model. The position of water body deter- mined by our time-depth conversion method agrees well with the result of borehole drilling, indicating that the established time-depth conversion model can clearly improve the accuracy of spatial positioning of water bodies in coal mines. 展开更多

The characteristics of a magnetic fluid seal and its motion, including the speed and pressure distribution, and the seal capacity of a magnetic fluid rotating seal were systematically described. The factors affecting seal capacity and ways to improve seal capacity based on the hydrodynamic model are discussed. The basic condition for dynamic seal availability is presented. The rotating speed and radius of the shafts should be decreased. The work can provide proof of a seal design or suggest ways to improve the seal capacity of magnetic fluid seals. 展开更多

High-frequency electromagnetic sounding is an electromagnetic exploration method using the natural high-frequency electromagnetic field as a field source. It has higher resolution and greater depth penetration than the direct current method and is especially fit for geothermal energy exploration and low- and mid-level groundwater detection. We introduce a successful application of high-frequency electromagnetic sounding for evaluating geothermal water resources. The high frequency electromagnetic system (MT-USA with a frequency range from 10 KHz to 1 Hz) is first applied to sample field data from China. A remote reference station is used to assure sampled data quality. We then perform 2D inversion image processing with the electrical method data. The results basically indicate the spatial distribution of underground geothermal water and provide favorable clues to finding the sources of the subsurface geothermal water in this area. 展开更多

The computation of the value on each single node is independent of each other, which makes it easy to realize the algorithm in parallel processing and greatly improves the efficiency while dealing with local area computation.
