According to the survey of Guangdong mangrove resource in 2001 and authors field investigations in the past 5 years, the total mature mangrove land area of Guangdong Province was estimated at 9084 hm2, accounting for 41.4% of total mangrove land area of China. These mangrove forests totally consisted of 50 species belonging to 28 families, distributed at more than 100 locations along the coastlines of Guangdong and most of them present a high dense and dwarf appearance. The Ass. Avicennia marina is the most dominant mangrove association. The investigation results showed that the mangrove forests with coverage rates above 0.7 accounted for 68.0% of the total mangrove land area of the province and 77.8% of mangrove forests was less than 2 m in tree height. Since 1950, 54.6% of mangrove forests have disappeared due to paddy rice reclaim, aquaculture and city constructions. Derivational conservation efforts are still weakly empowered and should be strengthened intensively. The author suggested that mangrove laws and regulations should be enforced, mangrove scientific research should be strengthened; and mangrove conservation awareness of local community should be raised on conservation of mangroves. 展开更多

The complex gut microbial flora harbored by individuals(microbiota) has long been proposed to contribute tointestinal health as well as disease. Pre-and probioticproducts aimed at improving health by modifyingmicrobiota composition have already become widelyavailable and acceptance of these products appearsto be on the rise. However, although required forthe development of effective microbiota basedinterventions, our basic understanding of microbiotavariation on a population level and its dynamics withinindividuals is still rudimentary. Powerful new parallelsequence technologies combined with other efficientmolecular microbiota analysis methods now allow forcomprehensive analysis of microbiota composition inlarge human populations. Recent fi ndings in the fi eldstrongly suggest that microbiota contributes to thedevelopment of obesity, atopic diseases, inflammatorybowel diseases and intestinal cancers. Through theongoing National Institutes of Health Roadmap 'HumanMicrobiome Project' and similar projects in other partsof the world, a large coordinated effort is currentlyunderway to study how microbiota can impact humanhealth. Translating findings from these studies intoeffective interventions that can improve health,possibly personalized based on an individuals existingmicrobiota, will be the task for the next decade(s). 展开更多

Based on grey neural network and particle swarm optimization algorithm,an automated stereo garage decision model is proposed to solve the problems of long waiting queue and low efficiency of automated parking garage.The gray neural network is used to forecast the stay time of the vehicle and particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to allocate the parking spaces in the stereo garage.The proposed stereo garage mathematical model is established on condition that vehicle arrival interval obeys Poisson distribution.The performance of stereo garage is evaluated by the average waiting time,average waiting queue length,average service time and average energy consumption of the customers.By comparing the efficiency indexes of the existing model based on near-distribution principle and the proposed model based on gray neural network and particle swarm algorithm,it is proved that the proposed model based on gray neural network and particle swarm algorithm is effective in improving the efficiency of garage operation and reducing the energy consumption of garage. 展开更多

The structural diversity of different tree-crop associations were studied at Gachabari Sal forest area of Madhupur Garh on Buffer and Peripheral Zone during 2006. The total density, basal area of trees in the Buffer and Peripheral Zone were 155.5 trees·hm^(-2), 795.4 trees·hm^(-2) and 3.9 m2·hm-2, 5.8 m^2·hm^(-2), respectively. No regeneration and natural trees were found in Peripheral Zone and the Zone is totally occupied by exotic species where the Buffer Zone comprised of both natural and exotic trees. The Peripheral Zone belonged to younger and smaller trees whereas the Buffer Zone belonged to mixture of smaller, taller, younger and mature trees simultaneously. For the practicing of different agroforestry systems both Zones have lost their original characters of Sal forest. 展开更多

The Lithuania 2011 Childhood is not just a product of human development but also a product of society's educational and spiritual culture development. This paper aims to disclose how nowadays the family helps the child to develop adaptation instruments which would help to adapt to the society in a micromacro environment, to show what helps the child to become a member of a social group, of the society, what adaptation problems arise during the childhood. Problems of school adaptation of the first-formers have not been properly assessed and analysed so far, though they foresee the future. No proper attention has been paid to the development of the harmonious personality during the pre-school period and to the correction of their adaptation during the firstschool year. The paper deals with the child's experiences of the pre-school period as the factor influencing school adaptation in the first form. Variety and quality of children's experiences are directly related and most of all depend on the family of the spiritual institution, so its impact is the strongest in terms of the development of the child's personality. The goal is to disclose the importance of selfdevelopment in childhood, which determines future success. The object is selfdevelopment during childhood today in the Lithuania. Methods of investigation are: the analysis of pedagogical, psychological, philosophical literature; the analysis of empiri.cal researches and statistic data; and the method of observation. Climate refugia can serve as a remnant habitat or stepping stones for species dispersal under climate warming.The largest freshwater lake by surface area,Lake Superior,USA and Canada,serves as a model system for understanding cooling-mediated local refugia,as its cool water temperatures and wave action have maintained shoreline habitats suitable for southern disjunct populations of arctic-alpine plants since deglaciation.Here,we seek to explain spatial patterns and environmental drivers of arctic-alpine plant refugia along Lake Superior’s shores,and assess future risk to refugia under moderate(+3.5℃)and warmest(+5.7℃)climate warming scenarios.First,we examined how the interactive effects of summer surface water temperatures and wind affected onshore temperatures,resulting in areas of cooler refugia.Second,we developed an ecological niche model for the presence of disjunct arctic-alpine refugia(pooling 1253 occurrences from 58 species)along the lake’s shoreline.Third,we fit species distribution models for 20 of the most common arctic-alpine disjunct species and predicted presence to identify refugia hotspots.Finally,we used the two climate warming scenarios to predict changes in the presence of refugia and disjunct hotspots.Bedrock type,elevation above water,inland distance,July land surface temperature from MODIS/Terra satellite and near-shore depth of water were the best predictors of disjunct occurrences.Overall,we predicted 2236 km of the shoreline(51%)as disjunct refugia habitat for at least one species under current conditions,but this was reduced to 20% and 7% with moderate(894 km)and warmest(313 km)climate change projections. 展开更多

Thermally stable, solid-state luminescent organic materials are highly desired for the development of practical applications.Herein we synthesized new gold(I) complexes with N-heterocyclic carbene ligands, which have the ability to form strong metalorganic bond. Consequently, their thermochemical stability is enhanced at temperatures around 300 °C. Precise design of the molecular structure of the ligands, with a focus on ensuring low steric hindrance around Au atoms in order to limit disturbances to Au/Au interactions, provided a complex with a densely packed crystal with a shorter intermolecular Au–Au distance(3.17 ?)than the typical distance. In the solid state, this complex exhibited strong aurophilic interactions, which generated intense phosphorescence even in air at room temperature(quantum yield=16%) in spite of absence of any phosphorescence in solution.This behavior is characteristic for solid-state luminescence referred to as aggregation-controlled emission. Furthermore, the gold(I) complex displays capacity for mechano-and vapo-chromism—that is, the ability to change color reversibly in response to the application of external stimuli. We believe that the proposed design framework, which involves controlling thermal stability and luminescence property separately, provides a new opportunity for the development of practical applications using solid-state luminescent organic molecules. 展开更多

A systematic method which is based on the classical Lie group reduction is used to find the novel exact solution of the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrdinger equation (CQNLS) with varying dispersion,nonlinearity,and gain or absorption.Algebraic solitary-wave as well as kink-type solutions in three kinds of optical fibers represented by coefficient varying CQNLS equations are studied in detail.Some new exact solutions of optical solitary wave with a simple analytic form in these models are presented.Appropriate solitary wave solutions are applied to discuss soliton propagation in optical fibres,and the amplification and compression of pulses in optical fibre amplifiers. 展开更多

Colorectal cancer is the second most common malignant tumor in China.The FOLFOXIRI regimen,which combines 5-fluorouracil/leucovorin,oxaliplatin,and irinotecan,is a high-intensity and highly effective chemotherapy regimen.However,the original regimen is poorly tolerated in Chinese patients.In order to promote the standardization and rational application of FOLFOXIRI regimen by clinicians in China,the“Chinese Expert Consensus on the Clinical Application of the Chinese Modified Triplet Combination with Irinotecan(CPT-11),Oxaliplatin(LOHP),Continuous Infusion 5-Fluorouracil,and Leucovorin for Colorectal Cancer”was formulated by the Committee of Colorectal Cancer in Chinese Southwest Oncology Group.Based on the mechanism underlying the combined three drugs and toxicity profile,the dosage of Chinese modified FOLFOXIRI(cmFOLFOXIRI)regimen and the management of adverse reactions are proposed.This consensus recommended that the FOLFOXIRI regimen be used in neoadjuvant,conversion,and palliative therapy for colorectal cancer under specific conditions.This consensus aimed to drive the application of cmFOLFOXIRI in the field of colorectal cancer in order to bring benefits to colorectal cancer patients. 展开更多
