Silicon carbide ceramics were prepared with SiC powder treated by the fluidized bed opposed jet mill as raw materials, and the effects of the ultra-fine treatment mechanism on the compaction and sintering behavior of SiC ceramics were investigated. The results showed that the compacts had higher density and microstructure homogeneity when the sintering temperature of the compact was decreased; and that the surface microstructure, densification and mechanical properties of the sintered body could be ameliorated obviously. 展开更多

The operating circumstances of refinery industry in China in 2005 were referred to in this paper, along with the processes for development of petrochemical industry aimed at regionalization, concentrated disposition of enterprises and construction of industrial bases. The pressure faced currently by the oil refining industry in terms of resources avalibility and environmental regulations was analyzed. The key elements associated with the refining industry restructuring to economize on all kinds of resources were discussed and presented. It is stated that the key for building an energy and materials saving oil refining industry should rely on the adoption of advanced process and engineering technology, adjustment of refinery configuration, improving the energy and resources utilization efficiency, deep processing of crude oils, optimizing all kinds of resources, reducing effluents by saving water, as well as boosting the integration of oil refining with chemical production, concentrated disposition and realization of large scale of process units. 展开更多

This article also suggests that the trend for future development of global refining industry is focused on the economy of scale for the refineries and the oil processing units, the refining structure readjustment, integration of the oil refining and chemical production and formation of oil refining bases. This text represents a research that by individual treatment explores the influence and effect of the so-called advanced karate training (combined training program for development of physical and mental skills) in strengthening the person's tolerance to difficult and stressful situations. The aim of the research was to achieve optimal performance by the athletes during the kumite1 in karate. The research involved initial, control and final experiment, where the karate practitioners were focused on the training model given (group; n = 13) and working in a group with additional individual intensive sessions provided for each participant. All athletes were male contestants aged 26.4 - 6.8. The aim of the research was to explore how their performance can be influenced using psychological techniques during karate trainings, or how not to fall into one of the four undesirable states of mind called Shikai2. Results confirmed that the model of combined physical and mental training for athletes improves their physical skills and optimizes performance during competitions. 展开更多

In order to pursue the ideal criterion of "faithfulness, expressiveness, and elegance" initiated by the famous translator YAN-fu in translation and "accuracy, smoothness, and quickness" in interpretation in China, people have summarized some techniques to help the process. And generally speaking, trainers or teachers will introduce those techniques to the students respectively. Yet in this paper firstly, by taking examples from some of the text books and a few famous conferences in China, it makes a comparative analysis of the different techniques in translation and interpretation. The comparative analysis explores the most three common techniques: amplification, omission, and repetition in translation and interpretation, and draws the conclusion that translation is more formal, more rigorous, while interpretation is comparetively simple and flexiable. Based on the above analysis, then the paper suggests that the comparative analysis approaches should be used during the teaching process instead of the traditional one-way teaching. 展开更多

We report the world's first all-season training and validation sample sets for global land cover classification with Landsat-8 data.Prior to this,such samples were only available at a single date primarily from the growing season.It is unknown how much limitation such a single-date sample has to mapping global land cover in other seasons of the year.To answer this question,we selected available Landsat-8 images from four seasons and collected training and validation samples from them.We compared the performances of training samples in different seasons using Random Forest algorithm.We found that the use of training samples from any individual season would result in the best overall classification accuracy when validated by samples in the same season.The global overall accuracy from combined best seasonal results was 67.2% when classifying the 11 Level-1 classes in the Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) classification system.The use of training samples from all seasons(named all-season training sample set hereafter) produced an overall accuracy of 67.0%.We also tested classification within 10° latitude 60° longitude zones using all-season training subsample within each zone and obtained an overall accuracy of 70.2%.This indicates that properly grouped subsamples in space can help improve classification accuracies.All the results in this study seem to suggest that it is possible to use an all-season training sample set to reach global optimality with universal applicability in classifying images acquired at any time of a year for global land cover mapping. 展开更多
