So the fault diagnosis by outside fault phenomena is considered. Based on the theory of fuzzy recognition and fault diagnosis, this method only depends on experience and statistical data to set up fuzzy query relationship between the outside phenomena (fault characters) and the fault sources (fault patterns). From this relationship the most probable fault sources can be obtained, to attain the goal of quick diagnosis. Based on the above approach, the standard fuzzy relationship matrix is stored in the computer as a system database. And experiment data are given to show the fault diagnosis results. The important parameters can be on line sampled and analyzed, and when faults occur, faults can be found, the alarm is given and the controller output is regulated.展开更多

Firstly, a fault tree of flight conflicts is established based on the man-machine-environ- ment system engineering theory. The chaotic characteristics of flight conflict are analyzed from the qualitative point of view. Secondly, an improved chaotic algorithm for the largest Lyapunov exponent is proposed based on the small-data method and the wavelet de-noising theory. Chaos in flight conflict time series is identified by the improved chaotic algorithm from the quantitative point of view. Finally, a case study by the chaos forecasting al- gorithm is performed and the results are evaluated by the gray error checking : Correlative value of posterior error is 0. 220 9〈0. 35, and micro-error probability is 0. 985 3〉0.95. Such results show the chaos forecasting algo- rithm is effective, thus it is feasible to analyze and forecast flight conflict by chaotic theory.展开更多

Considering that much faults information was interactional, intellectualized diagnosis was implemented based on integrating the neural network with the expert system. Hologamous integrating strategies were materialized by information-based integrating monitor devices, shared information database on several levels and fusion diagnosis software along thought patterns. The expert system practiced logic thought by logistic reasoning. The neural network realized image thought by model matching. Creative conclusion was educed by their integrating. Based on the vulnerability conception in the complex network theory the vulnerability of the power system can be evaluated by the minimum load loss rate when considering power supply ability.Consequently according to the synergistic effect theory the critical line of the power system is defined by its influence on failure set vulnerability in N-k contingencies.The cascading failure modes are proposed based on the criterion whether the acceptable load curtailment level is below a preset value.Significant conclusions are revealed by results of IEEE 39 case analysis weak points of power networks and heavy load condition are the main causes of large-scale cascading failures damaging synergistic effects can result in partial failure developed into large-scale cascading failures vulnerable lines of power systems can directly lead the partial failure to deteriorate into a large blackout while less vulnerable lines can cause a large-scale cascading failure.展开更多

For feedforward NN (FNN),t...Effective methods of enhancing the fault-tolerance property are proposed for two kinds of associative memory (AM) neural network (NN) used in high voltage transmission line fault diagnosis. For feedforward NN (FNN),the conception of 'fake attaction region' is presented to expand the attraction region artificially,and for the feedback Hopfield bidirectional AM NN (BAM-NN),the measure to add redundant neurons is taken to enhance NN's memory capacity and fault-tolerance property. Study results show that the NNs built not only can complete fault diagnosis correctly but also have fairly high fault-tolerance ability for disturbed input information sequence. Moreover FNN is a more convenient and effective method of solving the problem of power system fault diagnosis.展开更多

The distribution model parameters of time ...To provide basis for the reliability improvement design of CNC system, the failure data of a type of CNC system in one year are collected under field conditions in workshops. The distribution model parameters of time between failures are estimated by least square method and hypothesis testing is done by d-test method. It is proved that the time between failures of the CNC system follows Weibull distribution and the system has entered into the wear-out failure period. The failure positions and failure causes are analyzed further to indicate the weak subsystems of the CNC system. It can be found that servo unit, electrical system, detecting unit and power supply are principal failure positions and the main failure cause is breakage of components. The corresponding improvement measures are put forward. The paper provides a reference to reliability design and analysis of CNC system for the manufacturer and has great guidance to using and maintaining CNC system for the user.展开更多

In this paper, the reliability of the hydraulic system of a drum shearer was analyze...The hydraulic system plays an important role in supplying power and its transition to other working parts of a coal shearer machine. In this paper, the reliability of the hydraulic system of a drum shearer was analyzed. A case study was done in the Tabas Coal Mine in Iran for failure data collection. The results of the statistical analysis show that the time between failures (TBF) data of this system followed the 3-parameters Weibull distribution. There is about a 54% chance that the hydraulic system of the drum shearer will not fail for the first 50 h of operation. The developed model shows that the reliability of the hydraulic system reduces to a zero value after approximately 1 650 hours of operation. The failure rate of this system decreases when time increases. Therefore, corrective maintenance (run-to-t^ailure) was selected as the best maintenance strategy for it.展开更多

The navigational process creates a ...Reconfigurability of the electrical network in a shipboard power system (SPS) after its failure is central to the restoration of power supply and improves survivability of an SPS. The navigational process creates a sequence of different operating conditions. The priority of some loads differs in changing operating conditions. After analyzing characteristics of typical SPS, a model was developed used a grade III switchboard and an environmental prioritizing agent (EPA) algorithm. This algorithm was chosen as it is logically and physically decentralized as well as multi-agent oriented. The EPA algorithm was used to decide on the dynamic load priority, then it selected the means to best meet the maximum power supply load. The simulation results showed that higher priority loads were the first to be restored. The system satisfied all necessary constraints, demonstrating the effectiveness and validity of the proposed method.展开更多
Radio block center(RBC)system is the core equipment of China train control system-3(CTCS-3).Now,the fault analysis of RBC system mainly depends on manual work,and the diagnostic results are inaccurate and inefficient....Radio block center(RBC)system is the core equipment of China train control system-3(CTCS-3).Now,the fault analysis of RBC system mainly depends on manual work,and the diagnostic results are inaccurate and inefficient.Therefore,the intelligent fault diagnosis method of RBC system based on one-hot model,kernel principal component analysis(KPCA)and self-organizing map(SOM)network was proposed.Firstly,the fault document matrix based on one-hot model was constructed by the fault feature lexicon selected manually and fault tracking record table.Secondly,the KPCA method was used to reduce the dimension and noise of the fault document matrix to avoid information redundancy.Finally,the processed data were input into the SOM network to train the KPCA-SOM fault classification model.Compared with back propagation(BP)neural network algorithm and SOM network algorithm,common fault patterns of train control RBC system can be effectively distinguished by KPCA-SOM intelligent diagnosis model,and the accuracy and processing efficiency are further improved.展开更多

文摘Radio block center(RBC)system is the core equipment of China train control system-3(CTCS-3).Now,the fault analysis of RBC system mainly depends on manual work,and the diagnostic results are inaccurate and inefficient.Therefore,the intelligent fault diagnosis method of RBC system based on one-hot model,kernel principal component analysis(KPCA)and self-organizing map(SOM)network was proposed.Firstly,the fault document matrix based on one-hot model was constructed by the fault feature lexicon selected manually and fault tracking record table.Secondly,the KPCA method was used to reduce the dimension and noise of the fault document matrix to avoid information redundancy.Finally,the processed data were input into the SOM network to train the KPCA-SOM fault classification model.Compared with back propagation(BP)neural network algorithm and SOM network algorithm,common fault patterns of train control RBC system can be effectively distinguished by KPCA-SOM intelligent diagnosis model,and the accuracy and processing efficiency are further improved.
