A minimum spanning tree( MST)-based quantum distribution algorithm( QDMST) is presented to construct the mesh backbone network. First, the articulation points are found, and for each connected block uncovered by the articulation points, the general centers are solved. Then, both articulation points and general centers are classified as backbone nodes and an M ST is formed. The quantum path between every two neighbor nodes on the MST is calculated. The nodes on these paths are also classified as backbone nodes. Simulation results validate the advantages of QDMST in the average backbone nodes number and average quantum channel distance compared to the existing random selection algorithm under multiple network scenarios.展开更多

The two authorized users use repeatedly a sequence of the pure entangled pairs (quantum key) shared for encrypting and decrypting the secret message carried by the travelling photons directly. For checking eavesdropping, the two parties perform the single-photon measurements on some decoy particles before each round. This scheme has the advantage that the pure entangled quantum signal source is feasible at present and any eavesdropper cannot steal the message.展开更多

For the antiferromagnet, increasing coupling strength or decreasing temperature under critical point increases the entanglement. Based on the thermal entanglement as quantum channel, entanglement and information of an input entangled state are transferred via partial teleportation. We find that the entanglement transferred will be lost du~ing the process, and for the entanglement fidelity the partial teleportation is superior to classical communication as concurrence of entangled channel beyond 1/4. We show that both correlation information in input entangled state and individual information of the teleported particle are linearly dissipated. With more entanglement in quantum channel, more entanglement and correlation information can be transferred.展开更多

Only when all the agents collaborate with the quantum information receiver can the unknown states in the sender's qubits be fully reconstructed in the receiver's qubits. In our method, agents's control parameters are obtained via quantum entanglement swapping. As the realization of the many-agent controlled teleportation is concerned, compared to the recent method [G.P. Yang, et al., Phys. Rev. A 70 (2004) 022329], our present method considerably reduces the preparation difficulty of initial states and the identification difficulty of entangled states, moreover, it does not need local Hadamard operations and it is more feasible in technology.展开更多

It is shown that the concurrence and the interacting energy behave dominantly positive correlation for the localized state in the anharmonic-vibrational mode, while they are domi- nantly anti-correlated for the localized state in the harmonic-vibrational mode. The relation between bipartite entunglement and the energy in a subsystem is diseussed as well. We show how the intrinsic decoherence modifies the time evolution of the entanglement and find that at short-time case, concurrence is oscillating as increasing magnetic field, which implies that entanglement may be enhanced or weakened in some time regions.展开更多

In this way many master equations (respectively describing damping oscillator, laser, phase sensitive, and phase diffusion processes with different initial density operators) can be concisely solved. Specially, for a damping process characteristic of the decay constant k we find that the matrix element of p(t) at time t in 〈η| representation is proportional to that of the initial po in the decayed entangled state (ηe^-kt| representation, accompanying with a Gaussian damping factor. Thus we have a new insight about the nature of the dissipative process. We also set up the so-called thermo-entangled state representation of density operators, ρ = f(d^2η/π)(η|ρ〉D(η), which is different from all the previous known representations.展开更多
