WebQuest在我国一般称为“网络主题探究性学习”。作为全国现代教育技术实验学校，2002年5月结合高中的研究性学习课程，我们正式把网络主题探究性学习教学模式的研究列入了课题研究计划，“经济全球化与中国”网络主题探究性学习即是其中的一例。

科技创新技术在促进节能减排方面起着重要的作用。通过提高能源利用效率和减少排放,可以实现可持续发展。当前,人工智能、大数据分析和机器学习等技术在能源管理和工业生产方面的应用正处于快速发展阶段。同时,开发新材料也是重要的科技创新方向之一。通过持续加大对科技创新的投入,我们可以进一步推动科技创新的发展,为节能减排做出更大的贡献。

Economic Globalization: An Irresistible Trend Despite Imperfections

The world is entering into a new era of economic globalization. Realizing the benefits of globalization depends on a host of realistic conditions including technology and infrastructure, geopolitical pattern and the structure of market power, and international institutional arrangements, i.e., the global governance structure, among others. In this new era of economic globalization, international competition boils down to the ＂good governance＂ of countries rather than the use of force and hegemonism. Most importantly, a country must promote the vibrancy of innovation in order to stay competitive and creative. In this sense, China＇s position in the new era of economic globalization hinges upon its transition from being the ＂leader of world economic growth＂ to being a future ＂leader of good governance and vibrancy. ＂ Interests of various economies become interlocked, intertwined and overlap. Despite the inevitability of conflicts and frictions, more inclusive and balanced global development serves the interests of most nations. For great powers with extended boundaries of interests across the world, the maintenance of the new balance of power in economic globalization is consistent with their respective national interests. Hence, in the new era of economic globalization characterized by the inevitability of intricate interests and inevitable conflicts, the world is likely to be more peaceful, competitive and inclusive than any previous age of economic globalization.

China's Urbanization in 1949–2015: Processes and Driving Forces

The pace and scale of China＇s contemporary urbanization are stunning. This paper reviews process and the underlying driving forces of China＇s urbanization between 1949-2015. Contemporary China＇s urbanization has experienced four stages, and each has had different driving forces： 1） economic re-construction and industrialization-led urbanization 0949-1977）; 2） economic reform and mar- ket-led urbanization （1978-1995）; 3） economic globalization and the global-local urbanization （1996-2010）; and 4） the land-economy- led urbanization （2010-）. These urbanization processes and driving forces will undoubtedly provide scientific reference and have sig- nificant implications for developing countries, especially African countries, to formulate their urbanization public policies.

STUDY ON DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF SHIPPING CENTERS AND TRANSPORTATION NETWORKS IN THE YELLOW SEA RIM

It is very important to establish cooperative mechanism to guarantee allmembers to develop their e-conomies in the Yellow Sea Rim. In this paper, the development strategiesof shipping centers and transportation network are discussed based on economic globalizationtendency. The results argue that a united transportation network should be built in order to promotethe economic competition of Northeast Asia in the world. As a key component of the economiccooperation, a hierarchical shipping centers network should be established with Hong Kong, Shanghai,Pusan, Kobe, and Tokyo as cores. The authorities of China, Japan, R. 0. Korea and D. P. R. Koreashould make more efforts to build a set of cooperation institutions based on raising thetransportation efficiency.

An Interpretation of the Influential Power of China Development

Through the analysis on China＇s economic develop- ment, utilization of resource environment and soft power, a basic judgment was made of the influence of ＂China development＂. The overall influential power of China development on international community was misunderstood. What we see is the role of ＂China Factor＂ in different fields. In the process of economic globalization, what economic system of capitalist market has seen is ＂China＇s cheap labor＂, ＂China＇s loose economic system environment＂, ＂earlier abuse of unlimited resource environment＂, ＂China＇s broad consumption market＂ and ＂demographic dividend＂. In global or Asian financial crisis, what other countries valued was China＇s ＂foreign currency＂ accumulated over the years. In global gov- ernance or crisis management, what international community expected was ＂China＇s obligations and responsibilities＂ without the right of speech, etc.. All these are the ＂passive＂ roles produced by ＂a single factor＂ in definite fields. The active and initiative role China will play in international community still needs time and the continuous efforts of several generations. China once was a big country that had significant inftuential power on the world, and China＇s renaissance is a normal process of development of things. What excessive talks about its influential power reflect may be the lack of China＇s influence.

Analysis of the thinking method of English teaching under network environment

How to make a good job of foreign language teaching and improve the quality of teaching is a topic which the general teaching workers are facing, in this paper, the author express ideas from many aspects, multi-angle, multi-level, this brings a valuable theory reference on methods of English teaching which is under network environment. As for the problems of how to solve the bottle neck of English teaching, how to train the talent who are more adaptive to the world economy globalization, how to get rid of the traditional teaching method in teaching and how to improve the teaching level more efficiently, this paper gave some good methods and suggestions.

Restructuring and Sustainability-Corporate Strategy of Commercial Bank in Thailand： A Siam Commercial Bank

This article presents a case study of the Siam Commercial Bank （SCB） by investigating why and how SCB implemented organizational restructuring during the uncertain economic environment, and gives an overview of the Thai commercial bank industry. This article presents and discusses SCB＇s strategy implementation in its organization during 1997-2010. This case study is aimed to provide some guidelines for other companies in developing and in choosing strategies for their business sustainability in the global change, and in choosing the implementation of their organization structure for competitive markets.

Economic Globalization and Industrial Pollution

In order to study the relationship between economic globalization and industrial pollution, this paper developed the theoretical framework and used simultaneous equations. The result shows that economic globalization has influences on the industrial pollution mainly by the direct effect of scale, structure and technology as well as the indirect effect of income and policy. Considering all the factors, economic globalization, especially foreign direct investment (FDI), will reduce industrial pollution, in which technology spillover effect plays an important role.

CHALLENGES AND PROBLEMS: CHINA'S URBAN GOVERNANCE

China′s urban reforms have brought social progress and development, but a comprehensive national system of social welfare (for example, unemployment insurance, pensions, medical care and public housing) for new migrants from rural areas is lacking. One of the most remarkable changes in Chinese cities in the last decade was a change in social "equality", with the rise of new poverty both in individual communities and some social groups in urban society. However, there is little social assistance and public infrastructure for the migrants. Governments or communities or individual should pay attention to the control of new urban poverty and new slums. This paper consider that it is necessary to launch a successful policy, which include mainly: 1) accommodating urban growth through low cost investment projects; 2) urban economy depends heavily on successful macroeconomic policy; 3) to broaden the three channels linking adjustment to the incidence of urban poverty; 4) to restructure urban economic based on the high or new technology; 5) to coordinate relationship between urban economic growth and environment management for sustainable development of Beijing′s metropolitan fringe.

Global Trend of Low-carbon Economy and China's Responses

Based on the analysis on the global economic crisis,climate change crisis and their mutual underlying reasons,the authors believe that low-carbon economy has become an inevitable choice to break through the dual crises,coordinate the economic development,and protect the global climate.The global trend of low-carbon economy finds expression in Green Recovery currently,while,in a long run,it will give rise to a new pattern of world competition in politics,economy,technology,trade and finance.The impact of the global trend of low-carbon economy on China can not be overlooked,and it is both a challenge and an opportunity for China＇s future development.Based on comparative studies on the low-carbon economy of China,the U.S.,EU and Japan,the authors conclude that China should blaze a new path of lowcarbon economy development with Chinese characteristics,and the authors have put forward relevant countermeasures for China to address the global trend of low-carbon economy from angles of countries,enterprises and the public

Review Study on Main Models of Market Integration

With the endless strengthening of the economic globalization trend, the world market gradually steps into a new turn of the market integration period. Market integration in China is always the key study field of academic communities, but it is developed late, whatever content system or methodology shall be greatly improved as expected. Globalization and Income Gap from the Perspective of Developing Countries

Using political economic theory, this paper analyzes the impact of economic globalization on international income distribution, including the income gap between developed countries and developing ones, the income gap among the developing countries. The paper states that because the economic globalization is the globalization of capitalism manufacture style and developed countries dominates the process, the income gap between developing countries and developed one is difficult to be narrowed, and the income gap in developing countries will enlarge.

An Analytic Study on Internal Linkages Between Human Development and Globalization

Globalization is often understood as increasing global economic integration, global forms of governance, and globally inter-linked social and environmental developments. The target of this paper~ is to demonstrate the connection among human development, globalization, and institutional quality. The second part provides the methodology of measuring the overall globalization with an emphasis on the 2011 Konjunkturforschungsstelle （KOF） Globalization Index. The KOF Globalization Index includes economic, social, and political contexts. The third part shortly introduces one of the parameters of institutional quality--Human Development Index （HDI） （or rather Inequality-adjusted Human Development Index （IHDI） as the real indicator of the level of human development） and its methodology and results. For the analysis, two out of three dimensions of IHDI were used （long and healthy life and access to education） and two dimensions of Globalization Index were employed （social and political globalization）. The third part compares indices and scores together, analyzes them, and assesses the relationships between the HDI and the Globalization Index. It is possible to conclude from the results achieved in the study that the social globalization has stronger linkages with human development than with the political globalization, yet, spurring growth rates and reduced poverty in countries with poor institutions cannot be achieved simply by globalizing their economies.

Globalization had changed the competitive landscape in which entrepreneurs used to compete. There are advantages and disadvantages of doing business globally. Globalization had also brought about many challenges to entrepreneurs in the management of their organization. The values and beliefs of managers and staff across the globe influence visions, missions of their organization. Culture, resources and business practices of countries vary widely. Entrepreneurs must deal with global issues side by side with domestic considerations. This paper looks into how the theories and model of strategic management remain useful and relevant to entrepreneurs in a globalized business world especially in a turbulent economy.
