In this paper, we propose a channel state and interference aware power allocation scheme(PAG) as an enhanced solution to improve the system performance, especially for the cell-edge users. Cournot model in Non-cooperative game is employed for power adjustment in Small cell clusters to increase cell-edge users' throughput by considering the power limitation and interference coordination. Additionally, we take iterative Water Filling scheme as a comparison to clarify that the PAG scheme has struck a favorable balance between system efficiency and fairness. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme contributes to the enhancement of edge users' throughput and cells' coverage. Moreover, the scheme is observed to show a stronger adaptability in denser Small cell networks.展开更多

In this paper, we exploit SDN(Software Defined Networking) advantages to solve delay Qo S problem. Our work mainly focuses on SDN based queuing delay estimation with real traffic and end-to-end delay control. First, we propose a queuing estimation model and extended it for end-to-end delay of the whole path. It is proved to be feasible and accurate with experimental results in SDN environment. Second, in order to demonstrate the use of our proposed model, we also implement an end-to-end delay control application in SDN. It fulfills specific delay Qo S requirements by dynamically switching flows to a suitable queue based on estimation results and delay requirements.展开更多

All the satellites are divided into two groups, one has high download requirements, and the other one has low download requirements. Each satellites group has its own controller for bandwidth allocation, and can get payments from the satellites for the allocated resources. The relationships between the controllers and satellites are formed as a Stackelberg game. In our model, differential equation is introduced to describe the bandwidth dynamics for the whole satellite communication network. Combine the differential equation and Stackelberg game together, we can formulate the bandwidth allocation problems in satellite communication network as a Stackelber differential game. The solutions to the proposed game is solved based the Bellman dynamic equations. Numerical simulations are given to prove the effeteness and correctness of the proposed approach.展开更多

The results revealed that excessive online game users having addictive tendencies in Japan had lack of self-esteem as one of depressive tendencies, high aggressive tendencies, and low tendency of self-disclosure, in contrast with non-excessive users. Moreover, it was suggested that these users had a confidence in the society based on contributive behaviors in multi-player groups of online gaming.展开更多

It will aim to show how the use of a word reveals the intimacy of the subject, just like the autobiographical novel, which gives information about the writer. We would therefore have the presages of a self-writing in the creation, naming and storytelling of the avatar of a videogame player. From the example of a young player of the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) networking game Dofus, who we met in consultation, we will see how his avatar "Deadlop" comes from parapraxis and enables the narration of his emotional intimacy. The unconscious elements that led to the creation of the pseudo enabled him to tell his story and grasp some unexplained facets of himself.展开更多

Dynamic switch migration has been proposed to achieve it. However, existing schemes mainly focus on how to execute migration operation, but not why. This paper designs a decision-making mechanism based on zero-sum game theory to reelect a new controller as the master for migrated switches. It first chooses a switch for migration in the heavy controller which invites its neighbors as the game players to compete for the master role of this switch in the game-playing field(GPF) which is an occasional and loose domain for game-playing. Second, based on the concept of GPF, we design a decentralized strategy to play the game and determine which player as the final master. We implement it by extending the Open Flow protocol. Finally, numerical results demonstrate that our distributed strategy can approach elastic control plane with better performance.展开更多

Despite of the convenience in collecting information to provide the decision basis for the users, the vulnerability of embed- ded sensor nodes in multimedia devices makes the malware propagation a growing serious problem, which would harm the security of devices and their users financially and physi- cally in wireless multimedia system (WMS). Therefore, many researches related to the mal- ware propagation and suppression have been proposed to protect the topology and system security of wireless multimedia network. In these studies, the epidemic model is of great significance to the analysis of malware prop- agation. Considering the cloud and state tran- sition of sensor nodes, a cloud-assisted model for malware detection and the dynamic differ- ential game against malware propagation are proposed in this paper. Firstly, a SVM based malware detection model is constructed with the data sharing at the security platform in the cloud. Then the number of malware-infected nodes with physical infectivity to susceptible nodes is calculated precisely based on the at- tributes of WMS transmission. Then the statetransition among WMS the modified epidemic devices is defined by model. Furthermore, a dynamic differential game and target cost function are successively derived for the Nash equilibrium between malware and WMS sys- tem. On this basis, a saddle-point malware de- tection and suppression algorithm is presented depending on the modified epidemic model and the computation of optimal strategies. Nu- merical results and comparisons show that the proposed algorithm can increase the utility of WMS efficiently and effectively.展开更多

The strategy of the player is updated according to not only the payoff differences between players and the neighbors, but also the majority of neighbors (noted as conformist mentality strategy). According to our results of the simulations we found that the players which select the conformist mentality strategy, the density of cooperators markedly improves. The variation trend is slower on the square lattice and small-world networks, but a different phenomenon is noted for scale-free networks. A range of conformist mentality probability is seen on BA networks which conforms to a higher density of cooperators.展开更多
