Logistics service quality (LSQ... Online shopping has already become the new mode that a lot of customers try to adopt. At the same time, the online shopping could not be successfully completed without logistics service. Logistics service quality (LSQ) has significant impact on revenue and profitability. This paper presents the issue from the perspective of the customer, and explores the initial factors of LSQ based on the online shopping through in-depth interview and the Delphi method. The survey uses a standard 7-point Likert-type scale to measure the LSQ. Empirical research results are shown in detail to confirm seven LSQ dimensions with Chinese characteristics, including timeliness quality, personal contact quality, order quality, order discrepancy handling, order condition and convenience. Statistical analyses of the investigation were conducted to test the reliability and validity of the LSQ evaluation model. 展开更多

The system uses Microsoft ASP. NEF as development platform, C as the server language, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 as the development tool. ADO. NET is used to connect with SQL SERVER 2000 database through the data- base controls. A variety of server controls are used to create the ASP. NET page to implonent the syste^n functions. The syston is designed in 3-Layer application which includes Presentation Layer (PL), Busi- ness Logic Layer (BLL) and Data Access Layer (DAL). The operation of the database is in DAL, the logic fimction is in BLL. So the amotunt of work in the development, the difficulty of system maintenance and the upgrading can be reduced. Customers get used to this new shopping venue and nowadays prefer it more and more according to the researchers, ten percent of the global population now uses internet for shopping. In this research, the author explored the relationship between the security measures implemented by a company, very active in the online shopping domain, and the customer trust and loyalty on the online services provided by this company. Findings of this research are based on survey data analyzed in SPSS. This research supports the existence of a relationship between the security of a company's website and customer trust and loyalty on the online services of this company When the perception of security measures improves, customer trust and loyalty increases accordingly 展开更多

More and more people are accustomed to shopping online. Improving customer satisfaction of online shopping is gaining signification for business to gain long-term customers and achieve their goals. Based on and enlightened by the traditional custom satisfaction model, we built a model especially for online shopping in China. Wc took samples from undergraduates in Shanghai and gained real data by sending out questionnaire and conducting survey both online and on the spot. Taking advantage of the SPSS19.0 with PLS plugin and SEM-PLS analysis method, we tested and proved some relations that we put foreward in the hypothesis. The value of our investigation and this paper lies in providing some enlightening perspectives for firms doing online business, which hopefully can help them improve costumer satisfaction and achieve firm goals. 展开更多

It is found that shopping online has so many disadvantages, such as credit crisis, the insecurity of e-bank, express problem, a series of relevant law problems, limited payment options and so on.Because of these limitations, shopping online has interfered with e-commerce. From March 15, 2014, the newly revised "China consumer protection law" will formally implement cooling-off period legal system in special sale areas.2 Because it is a new system different from "obligatory compact principle" in traditional civil law, the scholars' theoretical research on cooling-off period system is still not mature enough. Online group-buying is a model in which consumers collaborate and purchase a good at a discounted price. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of reputation, price and service on purchasing intention through mediator which is perceived risk. To empirically test the proposed model, a survey was conducted and 140 samples were collected. The result of this study shows price has a significant effect on purchasing intention through perceived risk. This result also shows service and reputation have an insignificant relationship with perceived risk. Therefore, online group-buying retailers should not only focus on making money from the business but also consider how to keep consumers for future business. 展开更多

In the global supply chain in a setting characterized by exchange rate uncertainties,it is quite necessary to focus on comparative research trying to find out which kind of purchasing strategy is better in different situations.The two common global purchasing strategies,risk sharing(RS)and quantity flexibility(QF),are selected to be compared.Using a real-options approach,the valuation models of RS and QF purchasing contracts are established.By means of binomial lattice technique,numerical simulation and sensitivity analysis of two stochastic dynamic programs are presented.The effects on expected discounted value by changing relative parameters are described clearly.Based on comparative analysis,it is concluded that the QF purchasing strategy is better than that of the RS especially where great volatility exists for exchange rate processes in the global supply chain. 展开更多

This method applies the path consistency (PC) algorithm based on ... Inferring gene regulatory networks (GRNs) is a challenging task in Bioinformatics. In this paper, an algorithm, PCHMS, is introduced to infer GRNs. This method applies the path consistency (PC) algorithm based on conditional mutual information test (PCA-CMI). In the PC-based algorithms the separator set is determined to detect the dependency between variables. The PCHMS algorithm attempts to select the set in the smart way. For this purpose, the edges of resulted skeleton are directed based on PC algorithm direction rule and mutual information test (MIT) score. Then the separator set is selected according to the directed network by considering a suitable sequential order of genes. The effectiveness of this method is benchmarked through several networks from the DREAM challenge and the widely used SOS DNA repair network of Escherichia coll. Results show that applying the PCHMS algorithm improves the precision of learning the structure of the GRNs in comparison with current popular approaches. 展开更多
