A design of super-orthogonal space-time trellis codes (SOSTTCs) based on the trace criterion (TC) is proposed for improving the design of SOSTTCs. The shortcomings of the rank and determinant criteria based design and the advantages of the TC-based design are analyzed. The optimization principle of four factors is presented, which includes the space-time block coding (STBC) scheme, set partitioning, trellis structure, and the assignment of signal subsets and STBC schemes in the trellis. According to this principle, systematical and handcrafted design steps are given in detail. By constellation expansion, the code performance can be further improved. The code design results are given, and the new codes outperform others in the simulation. 展开更多

In order to apply ultra-fine water mist technology on spontaneous coal combustion in the goaf of a coal mine, we built a small scale compartment with ultra-fine water mist for restraining coal combustion in a confined space and then investigated the restraining efficiency and related factors. The study obtained the following results: a descending rate of heat release, an increase in 02, the production of CO2 decreased gradually, while the production of CO increased dramatically and quickly and then decreased; ultimately it tended to become stable after the discharge of an ultra-fine water mist. The technology showed that the ultra-fine water mist can effectively reduce the heat release rate of coal and the rate to generate components. We found that the restraining effect relied on the mist flux, the discharge time and other factors. A sufficient amount of mist has a better effect compared to an insufficient amount of mist. To combat coal combustion, the greater the discharge time, the better coal flames are extinguished. 展开更多

We show that the spatial-temporal noise can produce the current of the electron pairs, which stems from a symmetry breaking of the system induced by the correlation of the spatial-temporal noise with the phase difference. It is found that there is a positive current for the electron pairs, exhibiting a peak with increasing the values of some parameters of the noises. The results provide a theoretical foundation for the further investigation of the super-conducting junction. 展开更多

Video Super-Resolution (SR) reconstruction produces video sequences with High Resolution (HR) via the fusion of several Low-Resolution (LR) video frames. Traditional methods rely on the accurate estimation of subpixel motion, which constrains their applicability to video sequences with relatively simple motions such as global translation. We propose an efficient iterative spatio-temporal adaptive SR reconstruction model based on Zemike Moment (ZM), which is effective for spatial video sequences with arbitrary motion. The model uses region correlation judgment and self-adaptive threshold strategies to improve the effect and time efficiency of the ZM-based SR method. This leads to better mining of non-local self-similarity and local structural regularity, and is robust to noise and rotation. An efficient iterative curvature-based interpolation scheme is introduced to obtain the initial HR estimation of each LR video frame. Experimental results both on spatial and standard video sequences demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods in terms of both subjective visual and objective quantitative evaluations, and greatly improves the time efficiency. 展开更多

According to the time&space conversion relations and different frequency phase detection principle,an ultra-high precision time&frequency measurement method is proposed in this paper.The higher accuracy and stability of the speed of light and electromagnetic signals during the transmission in space or a specific medium enable the measurement of short time interval which uses the coincidence detection of signal’s transmission delay in length.The measurement precision better than 10 picoseconds can be easily obtained.The method develops the length vernier utilizing the stability of signal’s transmission delay,minimizes the fuzzy region of phase coincidence between the standard frequency signal and the measured signal,approaches the best phase coincidences and therefore improves the measurement precision which is higher than the precision provided by the traditional methods based on frequency processing.Besides,the method costs less than the traditional methods and can also solve the problem of the measurement of super-high frequency.Experimental results show the method can improve the measurement precision to 10 12/s in the time&frequency domain. 展开更多

We construct a holographic p-wave superconductor model in the background of quintessence AdS black hole with an SU(2) Yang-Mills gauge field and then probe the effects of quintessence on the holographic p-wave superconduc- tor. We investigate the relation between the critical temperature and the state parameter of quintessence, and present the numerical results for electric conductivity. It is shown that the condensation of the vector field becomes harder as the absolute value of the state parameter increases. Unlike the scalar condensate in the s-wave model, the condensation of the vector field in p-wave model can occur in the total value range of the state parameter wq of quintessence. These results could help us know more about holographic superconductor and dark energy. 展开更多
