Objective Chronic stress can induce cognitive dysfunction,but the underlying mechanisms remain unknown.Studies have confirmed that the high mobility group box 1/Toll-like receptor 4(HMGB1/TLR4)pathway is closely assoc...Objective Chronic stress can induce cognitive dysfunction,but the underlying mechanisms remain unknown.Studies have confirmed that the high mobility group box 1/Toll-like receptor 4(HMGB1/TLR4)pathway is closely associated with cognitive impairment.Therefore,this research aimed to explore whether the HMGB1/TLR4 pathway involves in chronic stress-induced cognitive dysfunction.Methods The chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)mouse model was established by randomly giving different types of stress every day for four consecutive weeks.Cognitive function was detected by novel object recognition test,Y-maze test,and Morris water maze test.The protein expressions of HMGB1,TLR4,B-cell lymphoma 2(BCL2),and BCL2 associated X(BAX)were determined by Western blot.The damage of neurons in the hippocampal CA1 region was observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.Results The protein expressions of HMGB1 and TLR4 were significantly increased in the hippocampus of chronic stress mice.Furthermore,inhibition of the HMGB1/TLR4 pathway induced by ethyl pyruvate(EP,a specific inhibitor of HMGB1)and TAK242(a selective inhibitor of TLR4)treatment attenuated cognitive impairment in chronic stress mice,according to the novel object recognition test,Y-maze test,and Morris water maze test.In addition,administration of EP and TAK242 also mitigated the increase of apoptosis in the hippocampus of chronic stress mice.Conclusion These results indicate that the hippocampal HMGB1/TLR4 pathway contributes to chronic stress-induced apoptosis and cognitive dysfunction.展开更多

The proposed controller is based on fuzzy logic with the aim of assisting a multi-sensor equipped mobile robot to safely navigate in an indoor environment. First, the designs of two behaviors for a robot's autonomous navigation are described, including path tracking and obstacle avoidance, which emulate human driving behaviors and reduce the complexity of the robot's navigation problems in unknown environments. Secondly, the two behaviors are combined by using a finite state machine (FSM), which ensures that the robot can safely track a predefined path in an unknown indoor environment. The inputs to this controller are the readings from the sensors. The corresponding output is the desired direction of the robot. Finally, both the simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

Furthermore, the platform of lawn-mowing is designed semicircle, equipped with three small high- speed and low-power electric motors; the cutting distance is determined by width of motherboard. In addition, the hardware of the system is made up of circuit control and working machines, of which the former includes a single chip unit, a wireless remote control, a sensor unit, an infrared array module, a driving module of electric motor, a display unit and a power source; the latter includes a mowing platform and a sensor window. In addition, the related software is programmed using C language and modular programming involving PWM program, Hall sensor program, liquid-crys- tal display, tilt program, supersonic sounding program, infrared obstacle-avoidance program, parking program, and remote control program. In order to simplify RVM classifier, parameters selection based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and preprocessing technique based on the kurtosis and entropy of signals were used. Firstly, sinusoidal inputs with different frequencies were applied to the circuit under test (CUT). Then, the resulting frequency responses were sampled to generate features. The frequency response was sampled to compute its kurtosis and entropy, which can show the information capacity of signal. By analyzing the output signals, the proposed method can detect and identify faulty components in circuits. The results indicate that the fault classes can be classified correctly for at least 99% of the test data in example circuit. And the proposed method can diagnose hard and soft faults.展开更多
MANET routing is critical and routing decision should be made sooner before the node leaves the network.Fast decisions always compensate network performance.In addition,most MANET routing protocols assume a friendly a...MANET routing is critical and routing decision should be made sooner before the node leaves the network.Fast decisions always compensate network performance.In addition,most MANET routing protocols assume a friendly and cooperative environment,and hence are vulnerable to various attacks.Trust and Reputation would serve as a major solution to these problems.Learning the network characteristics and choosing right routing decisions at right times would be a significant solution.In this work,we have done an extensive survey of fault tolerant protocols and ant colony algorithms applied to routing in MANETs.We propose a QoS constrained fault tolerant ant lookahead routing algorithm which attempts to identify valid route and look-ahead route pairs which might help in choosing the alternate path in case of valid route failure.The results prove that the proposed algorithm takes better routing decisions with 20-30 percent improvement compared with existing ant colony algorithms.展开更多
Oil immersed power transformer is the main electrical equipment in power system.Its operation reliability has an important impact on the safe operation of power system.In the process of production,installation and ope...Oil immersed power transformer is the main electrical equipment in power system.Its operation reliability has an important impact on the safe operation of power system.In the process of production,installation and operation,its insulation structure may be damaged,resulting in partial discharge and even breakdown inside the transformer.In this paper,S9-M-100/10 oil immersed distribution transformer is taken as the research object,and the distribution laws of electromagnetic field and temperature field in transformer under normal operation,inter turn short circuit and inter layer short circuit are simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that under normal conditions,the temperatures at the oil gap between the transformer core and the high and low voltage windings and the middle position of the high-voltage winding are high.When there are inter turn and inter layer short circuit faults,the electromagnetic loss of the fault part of the transformer increases,and the temperature rises suddenly.The influence of the two faults on the internal temperature field of the transformer is different,and the influence of the inter turn short circuit fault on the temperature nearby is obvious.The analysis results can provide reference for the thermal fault interpretation and fault classification of transformer.展开更多

The fast moving sensor no...As a core technology of Intemet of Things (loT), Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has become a research hotspot recently. More and more WSNs are being deployed in highly mobile environments. The fast moving sensor nodes bring significant challenges for the routing decision. In this paper, we propose an efficient logical location method, and designe a mobility estimating metric and derive a novel Green Mobility Estirmtion- based Routing protocol (G-MER) for WSNs. We also set up a full framework to evaluate its per- formance. Simulation results illustrate that G-MER achieves a fairly better perforrmnce in terrm of broadcast times and link failures than AODV. What's more, it decreases the mean hops by about 0.25 and reduces energy consumption by about 10% during the whole experiment. All the results show that G-MER can be effectively used in fast- moving and limited resource scenarios.展开更多
At present,ZPW-2000 track circuit fault diagnosis is artificially analyzed and monitored.Its discrimination method not only is low efficient and takes a long period,but also requires highly experienced personnel to an...At present,ZPW-2000 track circuit fault diagnosis is artificially analyzed and monitored.Its discrimination method not only is low efficient and takes a long period,but also requires highly experienced personnel to analyze the data.Therefore,we introduce kernel principal component analysis and stacked auto-encoder network(KPCA-SAD)into the fault diagnosis of ZPW-2000 track circuit.According to the working principle and fault characteristics of track circuit,a fault diagnosis model of KPCA-SAE network is established.The relevant parameters of key components recorded in the data collected by field staff are used as the fault feature parameters.The KPCA method is used to reduce the dimension and noise of fault document matrix to avoid information redundancy.The SAE network is trained by the processed fault data.The model parameters are optimized overall by using back propagation(BP)algorithm.The KPCA-SAE model is simulated in Matlab platform and is finally proved to be effective and feasible.Compared with the traditional method of artificially analyzing fault data and other intelligent algorithms,the KPCA-SAE based classifier has higher fault identification accuracy.展开更多

Based on the working principles of the DP-assisted mooring system and the model of the platform motion, a time domain simulation program is applied to analyze the impact, in the case of one line failure, on the platform motion, power consumption of the thrusters and the tension of the mooring lines. The results show that, under the 10-year wind dominant, a one line failure will have little impact on the tension of the mooring lines. When the failure line is windward, the power consumption will increase greatly with a weakened position of accuracy. However when the failure line is leeward, the power consumption will be reduced with a partly strengthened oosition of accuracy.展开更多

Firstly, it is shown that the cardinality of optimal single fault test set for fanout-free m-valued circuits with n primary inputs is not more than n + 1, for linear tree circuits is two, and for multiplication modulo circuits is two if n is an odd number or if n is an even number and m > 3, where the optimal test set of a circuit has minimal number of test vectors. Secondly,it is indicated that the cardinality of optimal multiple fault test set for linear tree circuits with n primary inputs is 1 + [n/(m - 1)], for multiplication modulo circuits is n+ 1, for fanout-free circuits that consist of 2-input linear tree circuits and 2-input multiplication modulo circuits is not greater than n+ 1, where [x] denotes the smallest integer greater than or equal to x. Finally,the single fault location approaches of linear tree circuits and multiplication modulo circuits are presented, and all faults in the two types of circuits can be located by using a test set with n + 1 vectors.展开更多

A cascading failure can be described as a three-phase process: generation, diffusion, and dissipation of the congestion. In this account, we present a function that represents the extent of congestion on a given node. This approach is different from existing fimctions based on betweenness centrality. By introducing the concept of 'delay time', we designate an intergradation between permanent removal and nonremoval. We also construct an evaluation fimction of network efficiency, based on congestion, which measures the damage caused by cascading failures. Finally, we investigate the effects of network structure and size, delay time, processing ability and packet generation speed on congestion propagation. Also, we uncover the relationship between the cascade dynamics and some properties of the network such as structure and size.展开更多

Due to the uncertainty chain of the train dynamic analysis in crosswinds originating mainly from the aerodynamic assessment, this paper primarily reviews five meaningful progresses on the aerodynamics of the train-bridge system done by Wind Tunnel Laboratory of Central South University in the past several years. Firstly, the flow around the train and the uncertainty origin of the aerodynamic assessment are described from the fluid mechanism point of view. After a brief introduction of the current aerodynamic assessment methods with their strengths and weaknesses, a new-developed TRAIN-INFRASTRUCTURE rig with the maximum launch speed of 35 m/s is introduced. Then, several benchmark studies are presented, including the statistic results of the characterized geometry parameters of the currently utilized bridge-decks, the aerodynamics of the train, and the aerodynamics of the flat box/truss bridge-decks. Upon compared with the foregoing mentioned benchmarks, this paper highlights the aerodynamic interference of the train-bridge system associated with its physical natures. Finally, a porosity-and orientation-adjustable novel wind barrier with its effects on the aerodynamics of the train-bridge system is discussed.展开更多

The loop and nodal equations comparing faulted phase to non-faulted phase of two-parallel lines are introduced in the fault location estimation model, in which the source impedance of a remote end is not involved. The effects of load flow and fault resistance on the accuracy of fault location are effectively eliminated, therefore a precise algorithm of locating fault is derived. The northwest vortex(NWV)is a type of mesoscale vortex that appears with a relatively high frequency in Northwest China.To further the understanding of the NWV’s evolution,in this study,the moisture and circulation b...The northwest vortex(NWV)is a type of mesoscale vortex that appears with a relatively high frequency in Northwest China.To further the understanding of the NWV’s evolution,in this study,the moisture and circulation budgets of a long-lived NWV(~132 h)that appeared in early August 2019 were calculated.This vortex induced a series of torrential rainfall events in Northwest China and Mongolia,which caused severe transmission line faults and urban waterlogging.Synoptic analyses indicate that the NWV was generated in a favorable background environment characterized by notable upper-level divergence and strong mid-level warm advection.The moisture budget shows that the East China Sea and Bohai Sea acted as the main moisture sources for the NWV-associated precipitation,and the water vapor was transported into the rainfall regions mainly by easterly and southeasterly winds.The circulation budget indicates that,during the developing stage,convergence-related vertical stretching was a dominant factor for the NWV’s development;whereas,the vortex’s displacement from regions with stronger cyclonic vorticity to those with weaker cyclonic vorticity mainly decelerated its development.In the decaying stage,divergence-related vertical shrinking and the net export of cyclonic vorticity due to the eddy flow’s transport resulted in the NWV’s dissipation.展开更多

文摘At present,ZPW-2000 track circuit fault diagnosis is artificially analyzed and monitored.Its discrimination method not only is low efficient and takes a long period,but also requires highly experienced personnel to analyze the data.Therefore,we introduce kernel principal component analysis and stacked auto-encoder network(KPCA-SAD)into the fault diagnosis of ZPW-2000 track circuit.According to the working principle and fault characteristics of track circuit,a fault diagnosis model of KPCA-SAE network is established.The relevant parameters of key components recorded in the data collected by field staff are used as the fault feature parameters.The KPCA method is used to reduce the dimension and noise of fault document matrix to avoid information redundancy.The SAE network is trained by the processed fault data.The model parameters are optimized overall by using back propagation(BP)algorithm.The KPCA-SAE model is simulated in Matlab platform and is finally proved to be effective and feasible.Compared with the traditional method of artificially analyzing fault data and other intelligent algorithms,the KPCA-SAE based classifier has higher fault identification accuracy.

文摘This paper focuses on the research of a semi-submersible platform equipped with a DP-assisted mooring system. Based on the working principles of the DP-assisted mooring system and the model of the platform motion, a time domain simulation program is applied to analyze the impact, in the case of one line failure, on the platform motion, power consumption of the thrusters and the tension of the mooring lines. The results show that, under the 10-year wind dominant, a one line failure will have little impact on the tension of the mooring lines. When the failure line is windward, the power consumption will increase greatly with a weakened position of accuracy. However when the failure line is leeward, the power consumption will be reduced with a partly strengthened oosition of accuracy.

文摘The single fault and multiple fault detections for multiple-valued logic circuits are studied in this paper. Firstly, it is shown that the cardinality of optimal single fault test set for fanout-free m-valued circuits with n primary inputs is not more than n + 1, for linear tree circuits is two, and for multiplication modulo circuits is two if n is an odd number or if n is an even number and m > 3, where the optimal test set of a circuit has minimal number of test vectors. Secondly,it is indicated that the cardinality of optimal multiple fault test set for linear tree circuits with n primary inputs is 1 + [n/(m - 1)], for multiplication modulo circuits is n+ 1, for fanout-free circuits that consist of 2-input linear tree circuits and 2-input multiplication modulo circuits is not greater than n+ 1, where [x] denotes the smallest integer greater than or equal to x. Finally,the single fault location approaches of linear tree circuits and multiplication modulo circuits are presented, and all faults in the two types of circuits can be located by using a test set with n + 1 vectors.

文摘Configuration errors are proved to be the main reasons for network interruption and anomalies.Many researchers have paid their attention to configuration analysis and provisioning,but few works focus on understanding the configuration evolution.In this paper,we uncover the configuration evolution of an operational IP backbone based on the weekly reports gathered from January 2006 to January 2013.We find that rate limiting and launching routes for new customers are configured most frequently.In addition,we conduct an analysis of network failures and find that link failures are the main causes for network failures.We suggest that we should configure redundant links for the links which are easy to break down.At last,according to the analysis results,we illustrate how to provide semi-automated configuration for rate limiting and adding customers.
文摘The new techniques were presented for preventing undesirable distance relay maloperation during voltage collapse and power swings in transmission grids. Initially, the work focused on the development of a fast detection of voltage collapse and a three-phase fault at transmission lines by using under impedance fault detector (UIFD) and support vector machine (SVM). Likewise, an intelligent approach was developed to discriminate a fault, stable swing and unstable swing, for correct distance relay operation by using the S-transform and the probabilistic neural network (PNN). To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques, simulations were carried out on the IEEE 39-bus test system using the PSS/E and MATLAB software.

文摘Cascading failures often occur in congested networks such as the Internet. A cascading failure can be described as a three-phase process: generation, diffusion, and dissipation of the congestion. In this account, we present a function that represents the extent of congestion on a given node. This approach is different from existing fimctions based on betweenness centrality. By introducing the concept of 'delay time', we designate an intergradation between permanent removal and nonremoval. We also construct an evaluation fimction of network efficiency, based on congestion, which measures the damage caused by cascading failures. Finally, we investigate the effects of network structure and size, delay time, processing ability and packet generation speed on congestion propagation. Also, we uncover the relationship between the cascade dynamics and some properties of the network such as structure and size.

文摘Serviceability and running safety of the high-speed train on/through a bridge are of major concern in China. Due to the uncertainty chain of the train dynamic analysis in crosswinds originating mainly from the aerodynamic assessment, this paper primarily reviews five meaningful progresses on the aerodynamics of the train-bridge system done by Wind Tunnel Laboratory of Central South University in the past several years. Firstly, the flow around the train and the uncertainty origin of the aerodynamic assessment are described from the fluid mechanism point of view. After a brief introduction of the current aerodynamic assessment methods with their strengths and weaknesses, a new-developed TRAIN-INFRASTRUCTURE rig with the maximum launch speed of 35 m/s is introduced. Then, several benchmark studies are presented, including the statistic results of the characterized geometry parameters of the currently utilized bridge-decks, the aerodynamics of the train, and the aerodynamics of the flat box/truss bridge-decks. Upon compared with the foregoing mentioned benchmarks, this paper highlights the aerodynamic interference of the train-bridge system associated with its physical natures. Finally, a porosity-and orientation-adjustable novel wind barrier with its effects on the aerodynamics of the train-bridge system is discussed.
文摘A novel numerical algorithm of fault location estimation for four-line fault without ground connection involving phases from each of the parallel lines is presented in this paper. It is based on one-terminal voltage and current data. The loop and nodal equations comparing faulted phase to non-faulted phase of two-parallel lines are introduced in the fault location estimation model, in which the source impedance of a remote end is not involved. The effects of load flow and fault resistance on the accuracy of fault location are effectively eliminated, therefore a precise algorithm of locating fault is derived. The algorithm is demonstrated by digital computer simulations.

文摘In view of the structure and action behavior of mechatronic systems,a method of searching fault propagation paths called maximum-probability path search(MPPS)is proposed,aiming to determine all possible failure propagation paths with their lengths if faults occur.First,the physical structure system,function behavior,and complex network theory are integrated to define a system structural-action network(SSAN).Second,based on the concept of SSAN,two properties of nodes and edges,i.e.,the topological property and reliability property,are combined to define the failure propagation property.Third,the proposed MPPS model provides all fault propagation paths and possible failure rates of nodes on these paths.Finally,numerical experiments have been implemented to show the accuracy and advancement compared with the methods of Function Space Iteration(FSI)and the algorithm of Ant Colony Optimization(ACO).

文摘The northwest vortex(NWV)is a type of mesoscale vortex that appears with a relatively high frequency in Northwest China.To further the understanding of the NWV’s evolution,in this study,the moisture and circulation budgets of a long-lived NWV(~132 h)that appeared in early August 2019 were calculated.This vortex induced a series of torrential rainfall events in Northwest China and Mongolia,which caused severe transmission line faults and urban waterlogging.Synoptic analyses indicate that the NWV was generated in a favorable background environment characterized by notable upper-level divergence and strong mid-level warm advection.The moisture budget shows that the East China Sea and Bohai Sea acted as the main moisture sources for the NWV-associated precipitation,and the water vapor was transported into the rainfall regions mainly by easterly and southeasterly winds.The circulation budget indicates that,during the developing stage,convergence-related vertical stretching was a dominant factor for the NWV’s development;whereas,the vortex’s displacement from regions with stronger cyclonic vorticity to those with weaker cyclonic vorticity mainly decelerated its development.In the decaying stage,divergence-related vertical shrinking and the net export of cyclonic vorticity due to the eddy flow’s transport resulted in the NWV’s dissipation.
