[Method] Pears were treated by...[Objective] The aim was to understand defense mechanism of pear after inoculated Botryosphaeria berengeriana f. sp. piricolan and mechanism of antioxidant enzymes of biocontrol bacteria. [Method] Pears were treated by Botryosphaeria berengeriana f. sp. piricolan and bio control bacteria, and the change of antioxidant enzymes were determined. [Result] The biocontrol bacteria had little effect on MDA;the content of MDA treated by B. berengeriana reached high peak in 48 h, was 10.22nmol/g which was 1.86 times of CK; the content of MDA treated by B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria reached high peak in 24 h, was 8.92 nmol/g which was1.62 times of CK. The content of SOD treated by biocontrol bacteria reached high peak in 48 h, was 126.69 U/[g(FW)·min] which was 1.54 times of CK; the contents of SOD treated by B. berengeriana as well as B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria reached high peak in 24 h, were 122.10 and 135.32 U/[g(FW)·min] which were 1.48 and 1.65 times of CK respectively; the contents of POD on biocontrol bacteria treatment, B. ana treatment as well as B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria treatment reached high peak in 24 h, were 385.34, 342.50 and 290.00 U/[g(FW)·min] which were 1.83, 1.62 and 1.38 times of CK respectively. The contents of CAT on biocontrol bacteria treatment, B. rengeriana treatment as well as B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria treatment reached high peak in 6 h, were 133.33,114.17 and 113.35 U/[g(FW)·min] which were 1.33, 1.14 and 1.13 times of CK respectively. The biocontrol bacteria had little difference in CK; the content of PPO of B. berengeriana treatment reached high peak in 12 h, was 81.86 U/[g(FW)·min]which was 1.76 times of CK; B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria treatment reached high peak in 24 h, was 70.00 U/[g(FW)·min] which was 1.50 times of CK.[Conclusion] B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria had more effect on MDA; both B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria could increase the excitation of SOD enzyme activity; both B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria could increase the excitation of POD enzyme activity; both B. berengeriana and biocontrol bacteria could increase the excitation of CAT enzyme activity; using biocontrol bacteria alone had not obvious effect on PPO, B. berengeriana could increase the excitation of PPO enzyme activity.展开更多

Over-cutting errors of NC-ECCEG of the twist blade surface generated by parallel lines are analyzed. The formula for calculating the over-cutting error is deduced. The method for eliminating the over-cutting error is used in the conical grinding wheel and the combined five-axis linkage NC-ECCEG system. The structure and the movement of the NC-ECCEG machine tool,the combined multi-axis NC system and its linkage control technology are introduced. Further, the mathematical model of the NC-ECCEG unparallel-ruled surface is established. An auto-programming system on five-axis NGECCEG is developed to grind the impeller. The machining efficiency of NC-ECCEG increases more than 12 times than that of manual polishing operations.展开更多

We address the probl...In this paper, we present an efficient approach for unsupervised segmentation of natural and textural images based on the extraction of image features and a fast active contour segmentation model. We address the problem of textures where neither the gray-level information nor the boundary information is adequate for object extraction. This is often the case of natural images composed of both homogeneous and textured regions. Because these images cannot be in general directly processed by the gray-level information, we propose a new texture descriptor which intrinsically defines the geometry of textures using semi-local image information and tools from differential geometry. Then, we use the popular Kullback-Leibler distance to design an active contour model which distinguishes the background and textures of interest. The existence of a minimizing solution to the proposed segmentation model is proven. Finally, a texture segmentation algorithm based on the Split-Bregrnan method is introduced to extract meaningful objects in a fast way. Promising synthetic and real-world results for gray-scale and color images are presented.展开更多

First, a finite element ...To investigate the influence of wet conditions on vehicle braking behavior,a numerical-analytical method was proposed for the simulation of tire hydroplaning and frictional energy dissipation. First, a finite element model of tire hydroplaning was established using the coupled EulerianLagrangian method,including a pneumatic tire model and a textured asphalt pavement model. Then,the frictional force on the tire-pavement interface at different speeds was calculated by the model. Based on vehicle braking mechanism and frictional energy dissipation,a calculation method for braking distance was proposed based on a three-stage braking process. The proposed method was verified by comparing the calculated hydroplaning speed and braking distance with field test results.Then,vehicle braking distances and wet friction coefficients were calculated under different conditions. The results show that thinner water film,a more complex tread pattern and higher tire inflation pressure all contribute to the vehicle braking performance; moreover, the pavement texture has obvious influence on vehicle braking behavior,especially at a high speed. The proposed method shows great effectiveness in predicting vehicle braking behavior on wet asphalt pavements.展开更多

This paper covers why measurements at various speeds with CFME (continuous friction measurement equipment) are not able to measure the speed-friction gradient of the pavement as determined by the macro-textural feat...This paper covers why measurements at various speeds with CFME (continuous friction measurement equipment) are not able to measure the speed-friction gradient of the pavement as determined by the macro-textural features of the surface. Most CFMEs measure friction in the slip ratio range of 10% to 18%. In this range, it is shown that the friction versus slip speed of these devices are mainly determined by the coupled properties of the surface micro-texture and relevant tire properties and to a minimal extent only by pavement macro-texture properties. The determinacy of low slip ratio friction measurements on the macro-textural features of the pavement surface are shown to be so low that they are inadequate to capture macro-texture caused speed degradation of friction. It is also shown in the paper that close to 100% slip ratio measurements at a relatively wide speed scale or direct macro texture measurements are needed to adequately determine the speed gradient if friction caused by the pavement macro-texture. The data and analysis in this paper provide strong and compelling evidence that the EFI (European Friction Index) or EFI developed by the HERMES (Harmonization of European Routine and Research Measuring Equipment for Skid Resistance) project sponsored by FEHRL (Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories) is strongly affected by the lack of consideration of this phenomenon. It is recommended that the results of the HERMES project are reviewed taking into account the findings of the present paper. Based on the results of the presented paper it is suggested that CFME's only measure friction at a fixed speed with a standard tire and use a macro-texture measuring device to obtain the pavement speed gradient.展开更多

The cracked rotor system is mod- eled using B-spline wavelet on the interval (BSWI) finite element method, and a method based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and Laplace wavelet is implemented to improve the identification precision of the first three measured natural frequencies. Compared with the classical nondestructive testing, the presented method shows its effectiveness and reliability. Although there were some slight differences in the chemicals of O. falcata and O. chiliophylla, the main components of both herbs were consistent generally. The results provided scientific basis, at least from the chemical point of view, for the reasonablity of two herbs being used as the same drug in Tibetan medicines and for the necessary of further investigation on their detailed chemical and pharmacological differences.展开更多

The current research mainly focuses on the coarse-grained, holistic cargo ship transportation network while...The robustness of cargo ship transportation networks is essential to the stability of the world trade system. The current research mainly focuses on the coarse-grained, holistic cargo ship transportation network while ignoring the structural diversity of different sub-networks. In this paper, we evaluate the robustness of the global cargo ship transportation network based on the most recent Automatic Identification System(AIS) data available. First, we subdivide three typical cargo ship transportation networks(i.e., oil tanker, container ship and bulk carrier) from the original cargo ship transportation network. Then, we design statistical indices based on complex network theory and employ four attack strategies, including random attack and three intentional attacks(i.e., degree-based attack, betweenness-based attack and flux-based attack) to evaluate the robustness of the three typical cargo ship transportation networks. Finally, we compare the integrity of the remaining ports of the network when a small proportion of ports lose their function. The results show that 1) compared with the holistic cargo ship transportation network, the fine-grain-based cargo ship transportation networks can fully reflect the pattern and process of global cargo transportation; 2) different cargo ship networks behave heterogeneously in terms of their robustness, with the container network being the weakest and the bulk carrier network being the strongest; and 3) small-scale intentional attacks may have significant influence on the integrity of the container network but a minor impact on the bulk carrier and oil tanker transportation networks. The novelty of our study is the introduction of a fast and efficient image function relating to parametric active con...We present a computerized method for the semi-automatic detection of contours in ultrasound images. The novelty of our study is the introduction of a fast and efficient image function relating to parametric active contour models. This new function is a combination of the gray-level information and first-order statistical features, called standard deviation parameters. In a comprehensive study, the developed algorithm and the efficiency of segmentation were first tested for synthetic images. Tests were also performed on breast and liver ultrasound images. The proposed method was compared with the watershed approach to show its efficiency. The performance of the segmentation was estimated using the area error rate. Using the standard devia- tion textural feature and a 5x5 kernel, our curve evolution was able to produce results close to the minimal area error rate (namely 8.88% for breast images and 10.82% for liver images). The image resolution was evaluated using the con- trast-to-gradient method. The experiments showed promising segmentation results.展开更多
In the three-dimensional(3D) contour measurement,the phase shift profilometry(PSP) method is the most widely used one.However,the measurement speed of PSP is very low because of the multiple projections.In order to im...In the three-dimensional(3D) contour measurement,the phase shift profilometry(PSP) method is the most widely used one.However,the measurement speed of PSP is very low because of the multiple projections.In order to improve the measurement speed,color grating stripes are used for measurement in this paper.During the measurement,only one color sinusoidal fringe is projected on the measured object.Therefore,the measurement speed is greatly improved.Since there is coupling or interference phenomenon between the adjacent color grating stripes,a color correction method is used to improve the measurement results.A method for correcting nonlinear error of measurement system is proposed in this paper,and the sinusoidal property of acquired image after correction is better than that before correction.Experimental results show that with these correction methods,the measurement errors can be reduced.Therefore,it can support a good foundation for the high-precision 3D reconstruction.展开更多

文摘A simple, sensible and reliable HPLC-DAD fingerprint analysis method for the raw materials of Oxytropisfalcata and Oxytropis chiliophylla, both of which were used as "Er-Da-Xia" in Tibetan medicines, was developed and then subsequently applied to analyze samples collected from different locations or times. 19 common fingerprint peaks for O. falcata, 24 for O. chiliophylla, and 11 for the two herbs were designated respectively, including 7 identified characteristic peaks existing in both herbs and 1 uniquely presenting in O. chiliophylla. Although there were some slight differences in the chemicals of O. falcata and O. chiliophylla, the main components of both herbs were consistent generally. The results provided scientific basis, at least from the chemical point of view, for the reasonablity of two herbs being used as the same drug in Tibetan medicines and for the necessary of further investigation on their detailed chemical and pharmacological differences.

文摘The robustness of cargo ship transportation networks is essential to the stability of the world trade system. The current research mainly focuses on the coarse-grained, holistic cargo ship transportation network while ignoring the structural diversity of different sub-networks. In this paper, we evaluate the robustness of the global cargo ship transportation network based on the most recent Automatic Identification System(AIS) data available. First, we subdivide three typical cargo ship transportation networks(i.e., oil tanker, container ship and bulk carrier) from the original cargo ship transportation network. Then, we design statistical indices based on complex network theory and employ four attack strategies, including random attack and three intentional attacks(i.e., degree-based attack, betweenness-based attack and flux-based attack) to evaluate the robustness of the three typical cargo ship transportation networks. Finally, we compare the integrity of the remaining ports of the network when a small proportion of ports lose their function. The results show that 1) compared with the holistic cargo ship transportation network, the fine-grain-based cargo ship transportation networks can fully reflect the pattern and process of global cargo transportation; 2) different cargo ship networks behave heterogeneously in terms of their robustness, with the container network being the weakest and the bulk carrier network being the strongest; and 3) small-scale intentional attacks may have significant influence on the integrity of the container network but a minor impact on the bulk carrier and oil tanker transportation networks. These conclusions can help improve the decision support capabilities in maritime transportation planning and emergency response and facilitate the establishment of a more reliable maritime transportation system.Abstract: The robustness of cargo ship transportation networks is essential to the stability of the world trade system. 文摘We present a computerized method for the semi-automatic detection of contours in ultrasound images. The novelty of our study is the introduction of a fast and efficient image function relating to parametric active contour models. This new function is a combination of the gray-level information and first-order statistical features, called standard deviation parameters. In a comprehensive study, the developed algorithm and the efficiency of segmentation were first tested for synthetic images. Tests were also performed on breast and liver ultrasound images. The proposed method was compared with the watershed approach to show its efficiency. The performance of the segmentation was estimated using the area error rate. Using the standard devia- tion textural feature and a 5x5 kernel, our curve evolution was able to produce results close to the minimal area error rate (namely 8.88% for breast images and 10.82% for liver images). The image resolution was evaluated using the con- trast-to-gradient method. The experiments showed promising segmentation results.

文摘In the three-dimensional(3D) contour measurement,the phase shift profilometry(PSP) method is the most widely used one.However,the measurement speed of PSP is very low because of the multiple projections.In order to improve the measurement speed,color grating stripes are used for measurement in this paper.During the measurement,only one color sinusoidal fringe is projected on the measured object.Therefore,the measurement speed is greatly improved.Since there is coupling or interference phenomenon between the adjacent color grating stripes,a color correction method is used to improve the measurement results.A method for correcting nonlinear error of measurement system is proposed in this paper,and the sinusoidal property of acquired image after correction is better than that before correction.Experimental results show that with these correction methods,the measurement errors can be reduced.Therefore,it can support a good foundation for the high-precision 3D reconstruction.
