In order to ease congestion and ground delays in major hub airports, an aircraft taxiing scheduling optimization model is proposed with schedule time as the object function. In the new model, the idea of a classical job shop-schedule problem is adopted and three types of special aircraft-taxi conflicts are considered in the constraints. To solve such nondeterministic polynomial time-complex problems, the immune clonal selection algorithm(ICSA) is introduced. The simulation results in a congested hour of Beijing Capital International Airport show that, compared with the first-come-first-served(FCFS) strategy, the optimization-planning strategy reduces the total scheduling time by 13.6 min and the taxiing time per aircraft by 45.3 s, which improves the capacity of the runway and the efficiency of airport operations. 展开更多

In this paper,the authors have empirically analyzed the convergence in per capita GDP gap and the convergence in the variation of energy intensity with respect to the change of per capita GDP between China and eight developed countries.Then,the authors run a regression on the impact of decisive factors of economic growth on energy intensity and its change,so as to find out the economic mechanism of energy intensity gap changing with respect to the variation of economic growth.This study concludes that:First,there is a convergence in per capita GDP gap between China and the eight developed countries.With the convergence in per capita GDP gap,the energy intensity gap between China and eight different countries also converge,and the convergence rate of the latter is faster than that of the former,i.e.if the per capita GDP gap between China and the eight developed countries decreases by 1%,the energy intensity gap between them will correspondingly decrease by 1.552%.Second,the energy intensity decreases with the improvement of industrial structure,the rising of energy prices,the advances of technology,and the expansion of investment in fixed assets,and it slightly increases with the increase of FDI.Third,the energy intensity gap between China and eight developed countries narrows with the lessening of the difference in fixed assets investment,energy prices,and technological progress between China and eight developed countries,yet increases with the narrowing of the difference in FDI,and has no significant correlation with the difference in industrial structure.Fourth,the narrowing of difference in per capita GDP between China and the eight developed countries can result in the lessening of energy intensity gap,whose economic mechanism is that the decisive factors,such as difference in investment,technology,and the competition mechanism of prices,which can determine the difference in economic growth,can significantly affect the energy intensity gap. 展开更多

A novel operation mechanism of capacitorless SOl-DRAM (silicon on insulator dynamic random access memory) cell using impact ionization and GIDL (gated-induce drain leakage) effects for write "1" operation was proposed. The conventional capacitorless DRAM cell with single charge generating effect is either high speed or low power, while the proposed DG-FinFET (double-gate fin field effect transistor) cell employs the efficient integration of impact ionization and GIDL effects by coupling the front and back gates with optimal body doping profile and proper bias conditions, yielding high speed low power performance. The simulation results demonstrate ideal characteristics in both cell operations and power consumption. Low power consumption is achieved by using GIDL current at 0. luA when the coupling between the front and back gates restrains the impact ionization current in the first phase. The write operation of the cell is within Ins attributed to significant current of the impact ionization effect in the second phase. By shortening second phase, power consumption could be further decreased. The ratio of read "1" and read "0" current is more than 9.38E5. Moreover, the cell has great retention characteristics. 展开更多

In order to minimize the harm caused by the instability of a planing craft, a motion prediction model is essential. This paper analyzed the feasibility of using an MGM(1,N) model in grey system theory to predict planing craft motion and carried out the numerical simulation experiment. According to the characteristics of planing craft motion, a recurrence formula was proposed of the parameter matrix of an MGMfl,N) model. Using this formula, data can be updated in real-time without increasing computational complexity significantly. The results of numerical simulation show that using an MGM(1,N) model to predict planing motion is feasible and useful for prediction. So the method proposed in this study can reflect the planing craft motion mechanism successfully, and has rational and effective functions of forecasting and analyzing trends. 展开更多

This paper deals with control method related to a wind system operating in stand-alone applications. The stand-alone wind system is composed of three energy transfer subsystems: wind generator subsystem (wind turbine and electrical generator), energy storage subsystem, respectively, specific local network subsystem (controlled loads). This wind power system performs in the same time the maximization of wind energy conversion and the power balance between produced and required power. Three structures of the energy storage subsystem, based on buffer battery operation and/or capacitor voltage control, are discussed. The simulation results show that the proposed stand-alone wind power system ensures a good management of the local energy request. The design of the structures is analyzed in Matlab/Simulink environment, using PowerSim toolbox. 展开更多

These characteristics were calculated for eight refrigerants at temperature of their condensation 30 ℃ and temperatures of boiling -15℃ and -30 ℃. The calculations show that the use of isothermal compression of refrigerant vapor ensures economy of energy during refrigerating machine operation. 展开更多

The results show that the electronic transport properties of molecular devices are affected by doped atoms. Negative differential resistance (NDR) behavior can be observed in certain bias regions for C82 and C80BN molecular devices but cannot be observed for C80N2 molecular device. Straight-line motion, albeit simple, manifests itself in numerous applications, from running steam engines and oil wells to manufacturing parts with straight edges and sides. The drive to maximize production creates a need for continuously running assembly-line manufacturing comprised of precise, individually optimized components. While there are many so-called straight-line generating mechanisms, few actually produces a true straight-line, most generate only approximate straight-line. Featured an eight-link rhomboidal system with length constraints,, the Peaucellier mechanism is one that actually produces a true straight line intrinsically. This paper presents a study on the dimension synthesis of the Peaucellier mechanism, namely by identifying the correct ratio of linkage lengths to produce the longest straight line stroke. In addition to designing for stroke, another objective of interest is to attain a desired velocity profile along the path. Kinematic analysis of the velocity profile on the mechanism will render the creation of input angular velocity standards based on desired stroke speed. Given the stroke and velocity specifications, specific steps to size the dimensions of the mechanism developed as result of this study will be presented. 展开更多

Following the change of objectives in China's public policy on intellectual property and the continuous increase in that policy's range of adjustment and number of policy input sources, the focus of policy making should be shifted to perfecting the policy system and its operating mechanism. However, the present operating model of technology transfer policy still adheres to the conventional emphasis on the effectiveness of individual policies. Conflicts between policies cancel out efficiency, leading to internal friction which may make the system as a whole work less effective. This paper applies the principle of synergetics to the construction and operation of the public policy system. On the basis of the high efficiency and practical value of synergistic operating mechanisms, we put forward concrete measures for establishing a synergistic operating mechanism for Chinese technology transfer policy. 展开更多

The study on the condensation and the two-phase flow pattern in the condensation section is important to understand the operating mechanisms in a thermosyphon. In this paper, a new electric capacitance tomography(ECT) sensor was designed for the visualization measurement in a liquid by removing the shielding case and sealing with insulating hydrophobic material. It was successfully used to measure the condensation process in a thermosyphon under different operating temperatures. The thermosyphon was made of silica glass, and alcohol was used as a working fluid. The alcohol vapor was cooled to condense through the heat convection with the cooling water. The operating temperature was controlled by a heater with different power outputs. The experimental results show that the alcohol vapor condensed in stripes and unevenly on the wall surface at a low operating temperature. The liquid bridge will be formed periodically at the operating temperature of 90?C, and the time interval between two liquid bridges will be shorter with the increase of the operating temperature. At 117?C or even higher operating temperatures, the complete liquid bridge cannot be formed sometimes due to the difference of the growth rate of the surface wave around the circumference. 展开更多
