The calculation results indicate that stress distribution of holed geotextile cross-section is greatly related to the dimension of the specimen, the size of the hole, the shape of the hole and the tensile condition, and the stress concentration area of holed geotextile from the side of the hole to 3-4 times of the hole diameter should be strengthened in order to improve quality of the projects. These results could provide guidance for engineering application of geotextiles.展开更多

Methods: 30 cases of noninsulin dependent diabetes were treated by electroacupuncture (EA)of Tianzhu (天柱 BL 10), Dashu (大杼 BL 11), Fengmen (风门 BL 12), Jueyinshu (厥阴俞 BL 14), etc, massage at the acupoints along the Bladder Meridian, point injection of Vitamin B1, B6, B 12plus lidocaine at Neiguan (内关 PC 6) and Sanyinjiao (三阴交 SP 6, once every 3 days), cupping and physiotherapy comprehensively. The therapeutic effect was analyzed after 40 treatments. Results: After treatment, of the 30 cases, 23 (76.7%) experienced remarkable improvement in their symptoms and the rest 7 (23.3%) had improvement, with the total effective rate being 100%. Conclusion: The abovementioned combined treatment method works well in improving clinical symptoms of type Ⅱ DM patients.展开更多

Methods One hundred and twenty-five cases were randomly divided into warm needling moxibustion group (42 cases), acupuncture group (41 cases) and western medicine group (42 cases). Of which, in warm needling moxibustion group, acupuncture combined with warming acupuncture were provided①puncture on Shènshū(肾俞 BL 23), Gānshū (肝俞BL 18) and Zhìbiān (秩边BL 54) without retention of needles,②Guānyuán (关元CV 4), Zhō ngjí ( 中极CV 3), Yīnlíngquán ( 阴陵 GB 34) and Sānyīnjiāo (三阴交 SP 6) ,with warming acupuncture, once a day; in acupuncture group, the prescriptions and needling technique were the same as those in warm needling moxibustion group, without moxibustion; in western medicine group, Cernilton was applied twice a day, one pill for each time. After one course treatment, the therapeutic effects and NIH-Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (NIH-CPSI) of 3 groups were compared. Results The total effective rate was 88. 10% in warm needling moxibustion group, 63.41% in acupuncture group, and 66.67% in western medicine group. The clinical effect in warm needling moxibustion group was superior to that in either acupuncture group or western medicine group (both P〈0.05). The score of NIH-CPSI was 11.92 ±7.11 in warm needling moxibustion group, 16.08±6.83 in acupuncture group, and 15.66±5.88 in western medicine group. The score of each group was obviously reduced (both P〈0.01 ) after treatments, in which, the reduction in warm needling moxibustion group was most obvious (both P〈0.0t). Conclusion A good therapeutic effect of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis was received by warm needling moxibustion.展开更多

Methods: A total of 46 cases with non-insulin resistant PCOS were randomly allocated into an observation group of 23 cases and a control group of 23 cases. Cases in the observation group were treated by needling bilateral Weiwanxiashu (Ex-B 3), whereas those in the control group were treated by needling bilateral Sanyinjiao (SP 6). After 3-month treatments, a comparison was made on the changes of ovulations rates, Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone (T), fasting insulin and body mass index (BMI). Results: There were statistical differences in ovulation rates and LH/FSH before and after the treatment in the observation group (P〈0.05), along with a statistical difference in testosterone changes (P〈0.01). There were also statistical differences in LH and LH/FSH before and after the treatment in the control group (P〉0.05); however, there were no statistical differences in ovulation rates and testosterone changes (P〈0.05). There was significant difference in testosterone changes between the two groups after the treatment (P〈0.01), along with a statistical difference in ovulation rates between the two groups (P〈0.05). However, there were no statistical differences in LH/FSH and BMI between the two groups. Conclusion: Needling Weiwanxiashu (Ex-B 3) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) can both improve the endocrine disorder of patients with non-insulin resistant PCOS; however, needling Weiwanxiashu (Ex-B 3) can obtain a better result than Sanyinjiao (SP 6) in increasing the insulin sensitivity and preventing insulin resistance.展开更多

In this regard, we report an integrative self-assembly of molecule 1 with benzothiadizole and 9,9-dihexyl fluorene units, and covalent organic frameworks(COFs) via an emulsion-modulated polymerization process, within which molecules of 1 are able to interact with the scaffolds of COFs through CH-π interactions. Thus the π-πinteractions between the fluorescent molecules are largely suppressed, giving rise to their remarkable monomer-like optical properties. Of particular interest is that, given by the specific interaction between COFs and a nerve agent simulant diethyl chlorophosphite(DCP), these assembled composites show the ability of ultrasensitive detection of DCP with a detection limit of ~40 ppb. Moreover, the present integrative assembly strategy can be extended to encapsulate multiple fluorescent molecules, enabling the assemblies with white light emission. Our results highlight opportunities for the development of highly emissive porous materials by molecular selfassembly of fluorophores and molecular units of COFs.展开更多
