Foundations of the Scale-Symmetric Theory and the Illusory Total Width of the Off-Shell Higgs Bosons

Here we present the foundations of the Scale-Symmetric Theory (SST), i.e. the fundamental phase transitions of the initial inflation field, the atom-like structure of baryons and different types of black holes. Within SST we show that the transition from the nuclear strong interactions in the off-shell Higgs boson production to the nuclear weak interactions causes that the real total width of the Higgs boson from the Higgs line shape (i.e. 3.3 GeV) decreases to 4.3 MeV that is the illusory total width. Moreover, there appear some glueballs/condensates with the energy 3.3 GeV that accompany the production of the off-shell Higgs bosons.

Bound State Description of Particles from a Quantum Field Theory of Fermions and Bosons, Compatible with Relativity

Both, the dilemma to find a quantum field theory consistent with Einstein’s law of relativity and the problem to describe existing particles as bound states of matter has been solved by calculating bound state matrix elements from a dual fermion-boson Lagrangian. In this formalism, the fermion binding energies are compensated by boson energies, indicating that particles can be generated out of the vacuum. This yields quantitative solutions for various mesons ω (0.78 GeV) - Υ (9.46 GeV) and all leptons e, μ and τ, with uncertainties in the extracted properties of less than 1‰. Dynamic of Scalar Bosons in Aharonov-Bohm Magnetic Field

We study the dynamic of scalar bosons in the presence of Aharonov-Bohm magnetic field. First, we give the differential equation that governs this dynamic. Secondly, we use variational techniques to show that the following Schrödinger-Newton equation: , where A is an Aharonov-Bohm magnetic potential, has a unique ground-state solution.

Coherence of Disordered Bosonic Gas with Two-and Three-Body Interactions

We theoretically and numerically investigate the coherence of disordered bosonic gas with effective two- and three-body interactions within a two-site Bose-Hubbard model. By properly adjusting the two- and three-body interactions and the disorder, the coherence of the system exhibits new and interesting phenomena, including the resonance character of coherence against the disorder in the purely two- or three-body interactions system. More interestingly, the disorder and three-body interactions together can suppress the coherence of the purely three-body interactions system, which is different from the case in which the disorder and two-body interactions together can enhance the coherence in certain values of two.body interaction. Furthermore, when two- or three- body interactions are attractive or repulsive, the phase coherence exhibits completely different phenomena. In particular, if two- or three-body interactions are attractive, the coherence of the system can be significantly enhanced in certain regions. Correspondingly, the phase coherence of the system is strongly related to the effective interaction energy. The results provide a possible way for studying the coherence of bosonic gas with multi-atoms＇ interactions in the presence of the disorder.

Application of Eigenkets of Bosonic Creation Operator in Deriving Some New Formulas of Associated Laguerre Polynomials

<正>Using the resolution of unity composed of bosonic creation operator's eigenkets and annihilation operator's un-normalized eigenket,which is a new quantum mechanical representation in contour integration form,we derive new contour integration expression of associated Laguerre polynomials L_m~ρ(|z|~2) and its generalized generating function formula.A series of recursive relations regarding to L_m~ρ(|z|~2) are also deduced in the context of the Fock representation by algebraic method.

Effect of inoculating mixed starter cultures of Lactobacillus and Staphylococcus on bacterial communities and volatile flavor in fermented sausages

The objective of this study was to explore the effects of the inoculation of mixed starter cultures of Lactobacillus and Staphylococcus(labeled L-S)on microbial community and flavor in fermented sausages during the ripening process.Culture-dependent(colony count)and culture-independent(high-throughput sequencing)methods were employed to evaluate bacterial communities.Volatile compounds were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,and the results were analyzed by principal component analysis(PCA).The identified bacteria with high relative abundance included Lactobacillus and Pediococcus,and the relative abundances of Leuconostoc and Weissella in fermented sausages were remarkably decreased at the end of the ripening process.At the end of ripening,2-nonenal,tetradecanal,ethylstearate and terpinyl acetate played substantial roles in the flavor development of the L-S fermented sausages.Sensory evaluation showed a high score in the L-S fermented sausages.Sausages can be inoculated with L-S starter culture to improve the safety and flavor of meat products.

From resolving Klein-Gordon equation and Dirac equation in (2+1)-dimensional charged black hole spacetime and using 't Hooft's boundary condition and "quasi-periodic" boundary condition in the thin film brick wall model of black hole, which is introduced by LIU Weng-Biao and ZHAO Zheng, we obtain the bosonic and fermionic entropy of (2+1)-dimensional charged black hole, and find that the bosonic entropy is three times of fermionic entropy.

Frontier Orbitals, Combustion and Redox Transfer from a Fermionic-Bosonic Orbital Perspective

Oxygenations are highly exergonic, yet combustion of organic matter is not spontaneous in an atmosphere that is 21% O2. Electrons are fermions with a quantum spin number s of 1/2ħ. An orbital containing a single electron with s = 1/2 is fermionic. Orbitals can contain a maximum of two electrons with antiparallel spins, i.e., spin magnetic quantum numbers ms of 1/2 and -1/2. An orbital filled by an electron couple has s = 0 and bosonic character. The multiplicity of a reactant is defined as |2(S)| + 1 where S is the total spin quantum number. The Wigner spin conservation rules state that multiplicity is conserved. The transmission coefficient κ of absolute reaction rate theory also indicates the necessity for spin conservation. Burning is fermionic combustion that occurs when sufficient energy is applied to a bosonic molecule to cause homolytic bond cleavage yielding fermionic products capable of reaction with the bifermionic frontier orbitals of triplet multiplicity O2. Neutrophil leucocytes kill microorganisms by bosonic combustion and employ two mechanisms for changing the multiplicity of O2 from triplet to singlet. Microorganisms, composed of bosonic singlet multiplicity molecules, do not directly react with bifermionic O2, but are highly susceptible to electrophilic attack by bosonic electronically excited singlet molecular oxygen (1O2*). Hydride ion (H-) transfer is the common mode of cytoplasmic redox metabolism. Bosonic transfer of an orbital electron couple protects from damage by obviating fermionic reaction with bifermionic O2. Bosonic coupled electron transfer raises the consideration that quantum tunneling might be involved in facilitating such redox transfer.

New 3-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(2) Lie algebra:From the point of view of squeezing

We consider the quantum mechanical SU（2） transformation e^2λJzJ±e^-2λJz = e^±2λJ±as if the meaning of squeezing with e^±2λ being squeezing parameter. By studying SU（2） operators （J±, Jz） from the point of view of squeezing we find that （J±,Jz） can also be realized in terms of 3-mode bosonic operators. Employing this realization, we find the natural representation （the eigenvectors of J＋ or J-） of the 3-mode squeezing operator e^2λJz. The idea of considering quantum SU（2） transformation as if squeezing is liable for us to obtain the new bosonic operator realization of SU（2） and new squeezing operators.

Flavor release from traditional dry-cured pork during oral processing

The rate of flavor release in the mouth from traditional dry-cured pork was evaluated in this study.It was hypothesized that a slow steady release of flavor would occur on chewing and hydration.To test this,high salt dry-cured pork was chewed and held in oral cavity without swallowing for 4 different chewing stages(B,NC_(30),C_(30),EC).Saliva and food bolus from 16 healthy subjects were collected during oral processing,and analyzed for saliva flow rate,total saliva protein content,saliva pH,conductivity,saliva and sodium,and taste components.Results show that oral processing behavior and salivary release have important effects on flavor release of dry-cured pork.Sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE)analysis showed that oral processing has a certain effect on the protein composition and concentration in saliva.This study suggests that the interaction between food and saliva that accompanies chewing can lead to significant changes in sensory perception during oral processing.

Evidence for bosonic mode coupling in electron dynamics of LiFeAs superconductor

Super-high resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements are carried out on LiFeAs superconductor to investigate its electron dynamics. Three energy scales at ~ 20 meV, ~ 34 meV, and ~ 55 meV are revealed for the first time in the electron self-energy both in the superconducting state and normal state. The ~ 20 meV and ~ 34 meV scales can be attributed to the coupling of electrons with sharp bosonic modes which are most likely phonons. These observations provide definitive evidence on the existence of mode coupling in iron-based superconductors.

Puff-by-puff Transfer Ratios of Some Added Flavors in Cigarettes

[Objective] The aim was to observe the puff-by-puff transfer ratios of some flavors in cigarettes.[Method] Based on national standards,the puff-by-puff transfer of tobacco of carbonyl flavors was analyzed.In the meantime,by dint of simultaneous distillation and extraction equipment coupled to GC and GC/MS,the puff-by-puff transfer ratios to TPM of smoke were expounded and compared.[Result] The puff-by-puff delivery profiles of NFDPT,nicotine and carbon monoxide increased with increasing puff number.This trend was similar to that of particulate matters.The transfer ratio of flavored tobacco was increasing in general,but partial flavors augmented to the maximum value and then decreased slowly.[Conclusion] The study provided reference for the application of carbonyl compounds in tobacco.

In this letter,we have studied quantum tunneling of two-species cold bosonic atoms in an optical lattices.When the optical lattice is not infinitely long and the spin excitations are not in the long-wavelength limit,quantumtunnelings are presented.

Clinical Observation on 34 Cases of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Treated with Shenlian Twelve Flavors

[Objectives]The research aimed to observe the curative effect of Shenlian Twelve Flavors in treating CAG patients with spleen deficiency and blood stasis toxin.[Methods]66 cases of CAG patients with spleen deficiency and blood stasis toxin were selected,32 cases in the control group and 34 cases in the observation group were generated according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with Moluodan;the observation group was treated with Shenlian Twelve Flavors.After treatment,the effective rate,TCM symptom score,gastroscopic score,pathological score,serum gastrin 17(G-17)level,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.[Results]The total effective rates of control group and observation group were 84.37%and 91.18%,respectively,and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).For the improvement of TCM symptom score,both groups were improved significantly compared with that before treatment,and observation group was better than control group(P<0.05).For the improvement of gastroscopic score,both groups were improved compared with that before treatment,and observation group was better than control group(P<0.05).For the improvement of pathological scores,both groups were improved compared with that before treatment,but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).[Conclusions]Shenlian Twelve Flavors has definite clinical efficacy in the treatment of CAG with spleen deficiency and blood stasis toxin.It could improve clinical symptoms,delay pathological progress,and regulate the level of G-17.There is no obvious adverse reaction,and it is worthy of clinical reference.
