Exploring the dynamics of creative tourism:A tourist-centric perspective to achieve economic sustainable development

Creative tourism is a dynamic and innovative approach to tourism,which points out the importance of people's active participation and their immersion in such experiences.In a vernacular context,it should attract people(local and tourists)attention to accomplish its main goals.Despite its rich cultural and natural assets,Kurdistan province faces several challenges that impact its tourism potential.To achieve that,the study uses quantitative approach to thoroughly analyze and evaluate the components of creative tourism in this province.The research focuses on tourists who visited the province's ten towns during the spring and summer of 2023.Data collection utilized a Likert-scale questionnaire ranging from"very good"to"very poor".The study employed a semistructured questionnaire developed through qualitative interviews alongside a researcher-made questionnaire validated by experts from the University of Kurdistan.The qualitative questionnaire achieved a high-reliability score of 93%using Cronbach's alpha coefficient.In-depth interviews and literary research were conducted to identify creative tourism components and indicators,informing the development of a quantitative questionnaire.Data analysis was performed using SPSS 20 and AMOS software to scrutinize the survey findings,providing insights into enhancing creative tourism strategies in Kurdistan province.The results reveal the varying significance of these dimensions,with the cultural dimension identified as the most crucial(factor loading:0.95),followed by the social(0.92),economic(0.88),and managerial/political dimensions(0.83).The study highlights the importance of cultural planning,community engagement,and infrastructural support in fostering creative tourism.Furthermore,it explores the impact of creative industries,such as music and arts rooted in Kurdish culture,on tourism development.Economic diversification and spatialphysical considerations are critical factors in enhancing Kurdistan's appeal as a creative tourism destination,emphasizing sustainable growth and cultural preservation.

The Hosseini trilogy encompasses Khaled Hosseini’s three distinguished novels:The Kite Runner,A Thousand Splendid Suns,and And the Mountains Echoed.As an Afghan-American novelist,Hosseini’s works exemplify a significant achievement within the sphere of ethnic literature.However,there is a significant deficiency in comprehensive examinations concerning his artistic traits throughout these three works.Therefore,focusing on Hosseini’s cultural identity as an ethnic writer,this paper purports to investigate the creative methodologies that emerge within his trilogy.The author posits that Hosseini employs at least three prominent creative strategies:An English writing framework with bilingual cultural elements,vivid depictions of wars through minor incidents,and soul-saving emotional narratives,all of which contribute substantially to the success of his trilogy while also providing meaningful insights for the development and advancement of ethnic writers.

Theoretical Research and Practical Application of the Rural Cultural Enhancement by Creative Designs Under Rural Vitalization-A Case Study of Shanxi Province

To revive the nation,the rural area must be revitalized.Every regional cultural and creative industry has its own development path and practical mode.From the perspective of rural revitalization,this paper conducts research on the development model of cultural and creative design,and analyzes the significance of the integration of creative design with rural regional culture.Based on the current situation of rural cultural and creative development in Shanxi Province,this study proposes to form a brand communication chain through the integration between cultural design and rural culture,and the establishment of cultural and creative brands,furthermore,to establish trending topics through multiple channels.Finally,the important practical significance of cultural and creative design in promoting rural economic development and enhancing rural culture value is discussed in this design strategy,so as to actively help the new journey of rural revitalization.

The Impact of AIGC on the Design Process of Cultural and Creative Education Products and Its Management Implications

Cultural and creative education products play a crucial role in modern education,as they can enhance students’creativity and cultural understanding.In the field of cultural and creative product development,Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC)has not yet been maturely applied,while data-driven design methods can achieve personalized and efficient design outputs,thus facilitating the creative generation and rapid iteration of AIGC.This study aims to explore the application of AIGC in the development of cultural and creative education products,and to form a future-oriented design process transformation in combination with rapid output of data analysis.By building a database of cultural elements and user preferences related to educational aspects in cultural and creative education products,training the AIGC system using machine learning technology,and submitting the design drafts formed in the near term to designers for further optimization,the product is finally subjected to user feedback and market testing,with products that are highly accepted by users as the final output.The research results show that the use of AIGC can not only promote innovation in cultural and creative education products,improve design efficiency and product diversity,but also inspire more creative inspiration for designers.The advantage of data analysis further enhances the accuracy of product development and market response speed,achieving effective transformation of the design process.Moreover,this research provides valuable references for educational management in terms of resource allocation and curriculum design.

The Design and Application of Specialized Creative Integration Curriculum for Promoting the Development of Creative Thinking of Teacher Trainees under the Concept of Open Education

Based on the concept of open education,this study designs a specialized and creative integration course to enhance the development of teacher trainees’creative thinking,and presents a curriculum model based on the theory of expansive learning,non-disposable assignments,and the framework of“pre-course knowledge comprehension and assimilation,in-course thematic cooperation and discussion,and post-course thinking training.”Through the implementation of the specialized and creative integration course practice with the example of“building an online training platform for teacher qualification,”it has been verified that the course design is effective in stimulating the creative thinking of teacher trainees.In addition,the study also analyzes the developmental trajectories of teacher trainees with different levels of creativity and systematically reveals the intrinsic mechanism of the course in enhancing the creativity of teacher trainees and optimizing their thinking paths.

Research on Narrative Design of Creative Products Based on Regional Cultural Elements

The research explored the ways and means of narrative design in which regional cultural elements are integrated into cultural and creative products.It also researched a new way of thinking and methods of creative product design based on regional cultural elements in order to satisfy consumers’emotional and cultural experiences.Narrative theory takes the perspective of narrative expression in the design of cultural and creative products.The regional cultural elements were used for better interactive communication with consumers in the form of cultural and creative products.In the narrative of cultural and creative product design,intervening in the development of regional cultural and creative design from the perspective of narratology can better exert and create the cultural value of the region itself,with cultural and creative products playing an important role in“local cultural stories.”This research adopted a qualitative approach and provided ideas and guidance for the narrative design and expression of regional cultural elements in creative products through comparative analysis of case studies.The research highlighted the role of narrative design in creating multi-layered experiences,weaving regional cultural stories into products,and the importance of deep understanding and effective use of regional cultural elements in design.

Cost Optimization of Steel Beam-to-Column Connections using AVOA

The joint-bolt-African Vulture optimization algorithm(AVOA)model is proposed for the design of building connections to improve the stability of steel beam-to-column connections.For this algorithm,the type of steel is first determined,and the number of bolts needed by the corresponding steel type is referenced in Eurocode 3.Then,the bearing capacity of the joint can be calculated.The joint-bolt-AVOA model is established by substituting the bolt number required by the steel into the algorithm to obtain the optimal bolt number required while ensuring joint stability.The results show that the number of bolts required by the joint-bolt-AVOA model based on the stability of steel is lower than that calculated by Eurocode 3.Therefore,AVOA can effectively optimize the number of bolts needed in building connections and save resources.

Biological processes involved in mechanical force transmission in connective tissue:Linking bridges for new therapeutic applications in the rehabilitative field

Connective tissue is a dynamic structure that reacts to environmental cues to maintain homeostasis,including mechanical properties.Mechanical load influences extracellular matrix(ECM)—cell interactions and modulates cellular behavior.Mechano-regulation processes involve matrix modification and cell activation to preserve tissue function.The ECM remodeling is crucial for force transmission.Cytoskeleton components are involved in force sensing and transmission,affecting cellular adhesion,motility,and gene expression.Proper mechanical loading helps to maintain tissue health,while imbalances may lead to pathological processes.Active and passive movement,including manual mobilization,improves connective tissue elasticity,promotes ECM-cell homeostasis,and reduces fibrosis.In rehabilitation,understanding mechanical-regulation processes is necessary for ameliorating and developing treatments aimed at preserving tissue elasticity and preventing fibrosis.In this commentary,we aim to globally describe the biological processes involved in mechanical force transmission in connective tissue as support for translational studies and clinical applications in the rehabilitation field.

Alterations of interhemispheric functional connectivity in patients with hypertensive retinopathy using voxelmirrored homotopic connectivity:a resting state fMRI study

AIM:To analyze whether alterations of voxel mirror homology connectivity(VMHC)values,as determined by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rsfMRI),occur in cerebral regions of patients with hypertensive retinopathy(HR)and to determine the relationship between VMHC values and clinical characteristics in patients with HR.METHODS:Twenty-one patients with HR and 21 agematched healthy controls(HCs)were assessed by rsfMRI scanning.The functional connectivity between the hemispheres of the cerebrum was assessed by measuring VMHC,with the ability of VMHC to distinguish between the HR and HC groups assessed using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.Differences in the demographic and clinical characteristics of the HR and HC groups were analyzed by independent sample t-tests.The relationship between average VMHC in several brain areas of HR patients and clinical features was determined using Pearson correlation analysis.RESULTS:Mean VMHC values of the bilateral cuneus gyrus(BA19),bilateral middle orbitofrontal gyrus(BA47),bilateral middle temporal gyrus(BA39)and bilateral superior medial frontal gyrus(BA9)were lower in the HR than in the HC group.CONCLUSION:VMHC values can predict the development of early HR,prevent the transformation of hypertensive microangiopathy,and provide useful information explaining the changes in neural mechanism associated with HR.

改进RRT-Connect算法的机器人路径规划研究

针对标准RRT-Connect算法在路径规划中存在的路径冗长、转折较多和区域通过性欠缺问题,提出了一种新的改进RRT-Connect算法(TRRT-Connect)。采用改进RRT算法搜索并添加一个中间根节点,实现同时扩展四棵随机树,加快算法收敛速度。在随机点的选取上使用目标偏置策略,在新节点的生成上叠加引力场,同时融合贪婪搜索策略。结合新的动态步长调节方法,通过识别扫描区域内障碍物的个数动态选择合适的步长。对生成的初始路径使用双向剪枝优化方法,加快剪枝效率,剔除路径上的冗余节点。对路径转折处进行光滑处理,减少路径转折。在三种不同环境地图中进行仿真对比实验,结果表明,TRRT-Connect算法与标准RRT-Connect算法相比较,在路径长度、迭代次数和节点数上有较大改善,在密集障碍物区域的通过性较好,路径更加光滑且无转折,证明了该算法的有效性。同时将TRRT-Connect算法应用于现场实例仿真中,使得移动机器人的运输路径长度相较于传统固定路径降低了15.4%,且路径光滑,进一步验证了该算法的实用性。

Microplanning in the Neighborhood Upgrading Program:Creative Connectivity of Community in the Poor Settlement

Microplanning is a process which seeks to build linkage between local and central need(or between local program and National Policy)and so to reach consensus among participants on priorities.This method is usually used in a small-scale community-based upgrading programmes.Microplanning has been a tool for the poor people to include and participate in the settlements development,which enables programmes for neighborhood upgrading to be prepared locally and collaboratively,since the planning process.Therefore,this will be a tool for sustainable rural settlements development,which generates transformation of attitude,encourages self-community management and entrepreneurship.The research aims to identify the stages of community in conducting microplanning method in PLPBK(Povery Alleviation Program)and to analyse the spatial patterns of relation between community and space.This research used the method of PAR(Participatory Action research)where the researcher involved in the process as a Planning Assistant Expert.The results of PLPBK-ND document have shown that there is a strong connectivity between community organization involved in the Program as well as connectivity between space and social life and activity of community.

In- and Anti-transition of Firing Patterns Induced by Random Long-range Connections in Coupled Hindmarsh-Rose Neurons System

The effects of random long-range connections （shortcuts） on the transitions of neural firing patterns in coupled Hindmarsh-Rose neurons are investigated, where each neuron is subjected to an external current. It is found that, on one hand, the system can achieve the transition of neural firing patterns from the fewer-period state to the multi-period one, when the number of the added shortcuts in the neural network is greater than a threshold value, indicating the occurrence of in-transition of neural firing patterns. On the other hand, for a stronger coupling strength, we can also find the similar but reverse results by adding some proper random connections. In addition, the influences of system size and coupling strength on such transition behavior, as well as the internality between the transition degree of firing patterns and its critical characteristics for different external stimulation current, are also discussed.
