[ Metho...[ Objective ] With Cupressustorulosa, Cinnamomum camphora and Cyclobalanopsis Oerst as test materials, the paper studied the effects of different non- host plants on olfactory responses of Tomicus yunnanensis. [ Method ] The needles of Pinus yunnanensis were mixed with the leaves of Cupressustondosa, C. cam- phora and C. Oerst according to the ratios of 0 g : 6 g, 1 g : 5 g, 2 g : 4 g, 3 g : 3 g, 4 g : 2 g, 5 g : 1 g and 6 g : 0 g, and the mixtures were put in the re- spanse arm of Y-tube olfactometer as odor source to observe the olfactory behavior of T. yunnanensis, the empty arm was set as control. [ Result ] When the needles of P. yunnanensis were mixed with the leaves of non-hest plants according to the ratio of 1 g : 5 g and 2 g : 4 g, they had less difference on attractive rate to T. yun- nanensis compared with complete P. yunnanensis needles in mixture (ratio: 6 g : 0 g), and the maximum difference was 14%. When the needles ofP. yunnanen- sis were mixed with non-host leaves according to the ratio of 1 g : 5 g, 2 g : 4 g, the attractive rate to T. yunnanensis decreased compared with complete P. yun- nanensis needles in mixture ( ratio: 6 g : 0 g), and the decrease value in maximum was 40%. [ Conclusion] When the ratio of non-host plants was relatively small in mixed leaves, non-host had less impact on olfactory responses of T. yunnanensis. As the proportion of non-hest leaves gradually increased, the attractive rate of leaf mixtures to T. yunnanensis was gradually small. The results could provide reference for determination of mixed ratio in construction of mixed forest and the de- velopment of botanical attractive and repellent of T. yunnanensis.展开更多

Field investigations and laboratory integrated research as indicated that ophiolite mélange in the Nan-Uttaradit zone, northern Thailand, consists of fragments of tectonites such as metamorphic peridotite (extrem...Field investigations and laboratory integrated research as indicated that ophiolite mélange in the Nan-Uttaradit zone, northern Thailand, consists of fragments of tectonites such as metamorphic peridotite (extremely silicified serpentinite), cumulates (pyroxenolite, gabbro, and gabbro-diorite), ocean-ridge basalt, oceanic-island ba-salt and radiolarian silicalite, and it was formed during D3-P. The rock series, rock types and petrogeochemical characteristics of metamorphic tholeiites in the Nan area of the Nan-Uttaradit zone are similar to those of ocean-ridge basalts (C1) in China's Ailaoshan zone. As for the Hawaiites in the Nan area of the Nan-Uttaradit zone, their major elements, REEs and trace elements are similar to those of oceanic-island basalts in China's Jinshanjiang zone (P11). In the Uttaradit area of this zone the metamorphic alkaline basalts show transitional petrogeochemical characteristics between ocean-ridge basalts and oceanic-island basalts, which were still formed in oceanic-island environments. The above-described basalts are all oceanic volcanic rocks and they are the most important part of the Paleo-Tethys oceanic crust in the Nan-Uttaradit zone.展开更多
The Ni(OH)2/SiO2 binary colloid was prepared using Ni(NO3)2.6H2O and (C2H5O)4SiO4 as starting materials and was used to form NiO/SiO2. composite powder by hydrothermal method and desiccant method in open air respectiv...The Ni(OH)2/SiO2 binary colloid was prepared using Ni(NO3)2.6H2O and (C2H5O)4SiO4 as starting materials and was used to form NiO/SiO2. composite powder by hydrothermal method and desiccant method in open air respectively. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were synthesized respectively by chemical vapor deposition using the NiO/SiO2 catalyst prepared by different methods. The phase and morphology of the catalysts and the morphology, output yield and purity of MWCNTs were compared by XRD, TEM and SEM. The results show that the catalyst powder prepared by hydrothermal method, compared with that by desiccant method, is smaller, better dispersion and has stronger catalytic activity. Pure MWCNTs with smaller tube diameter and narrow range could be obtained at a high yield using that NiO/SiO2 powder prepared by hydrothermal method as catalyst.展开更多

Here we theoretically explore a method for achieving this detection by probing the electricity of se...The detection of macromolecular conformation is particularly important in many physical and biological applications. Here we theoretically explore a method for achieving this detection by probing the electricity of sequential charged segments of macromolecules. Our analysis is based on molecular dynamics simulations, and we investigate a single file of water molecules confined in a half-capped single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) with an external electric charge of +e or -e (e is the elementary charge). The charge is located in the vicinity of the cap of the SWCNT and along the centerline of the SWCNT. We reveal the picosecond timescale for the re-orientation (namely, from one unidirectional direction to the other) of the water molecules in response to a switch in the charge signal, -e -+ +e or +e -+ --e. Our results are well understood by taking into account the electrical interactions between the water molecules and between the water molecules and the external charge. Because such signals of re-orientation can be magnified and transported according to Tu et al. [2009 Proc. Natl. Aead. Sci. USA 106 18120], it becomes possible to record fingerprints of electric signals arising from sequential charged segments of a macromolecule, which are expected to be useful for recognizing the conformations of some particular macromolecules.展开更多

The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group Pna21 with a = 7.6445(15), b = 38.851(8), c = 7.1316(14) A, V = 2118.0(7) A3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.2840 mg/mm3, μ = 0.089 mm-1, F(000) = 872.4, R = 0.0545 and w R = 0.1681. The single-crystal X-ray structural analysis reveals that the piperazine ring in compound 1 presents a stable and minimum energy chair conformation. In addition, the preliminary cytotoxic assay shows that the title compound exhibits strong and selective inhibitory activity against DU145 cells(IC50 = 5.88 ± 1.02 μM).展开更多

[ Method] Five kinds of typical fruits ...[ Objective] The research aimed to analyze the contents of heavy metals in the typical fruits of Nanning and evaluate the pollution status of heavy metals in fruits of Nanning. [ Method] Five kinds of typical fruits (litchi, longan, dragon fruit, mangosteen and pineapple) in Nanning were collected to measure contents of heavy metals including Cd, Pb, As and Hg. According to standard of pollution-free fruits (GB18406.2 -2001 ), pollution evaluation was conducted, and cumulative degrees of different fruits on a variety of heavy metals were contrasted. [ Result ] The heavy metal contents of all fruits were qualified. Comprehensive pollution index of dragon fruit was the maximum, and its cumulative capability on various heavy metals was the strongest.
