Leadership is a complex process.It is one of the most researched areas around the world.It has gained importance in every walk of life from politics to business and from education to social organizations.According to the study of"Leadership in Adult Education Venues",here has a much more clear recognition of leadership:leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal.There are many approaches of leadership throughout the study of this class,the three theories of leadership I choose to describe in this paper are:Leader-Member Exchange(LMX)Theory,Transformational Leadership,and Team Leadership.

Intelligent Transformation: General Intelligence Theory

This paper aims to formalize a general definition of intelligence beyond human intelligence. We accomplish this by re-imagining the concept of equality as a fundamental abstraction for relation. We discover that the concept of equality = limits the sensitivity of our mathematics to abstract relationships. We propose a new relation principle that does not rely on the concept of equality but is consistent with existing mathematical abstractions. In essence, this paper proposes a conceptual framework for general interaction and argues that this framework is also an abstraction that satisfies the definition of Intelligence. Hence, we define intelligence as a formalization of generality, represented by the abstraction ∆∞Ο, where each symbol represents the concepts infinitesimal, infinite, and finite respectively. In essence, this paper proposes a General Language Model (GLM), where the abstraction ∆∞Ο represents the foundational relationship of the model. This relation is colloquially termed “The theory of everything”.

ViTAU:基于Vision transformer和面部动作单元的面瘫识别与分析

面部神经麻痹(Facial nerve paralysis,FNP),通常称为贝尔氏麻痹或面瘫,对患者的日常生活和心理健康产生显著影响,面瘫的及时识别和诊断对于患者的早期治疗和康复至关重要.随着深度学习和计算机视觉技术的快速发展,面瘫的自动识别变得可行,为诊断提供了一种更准确和客观的方式.目前的研究主要集中关注面部的整体变化,而忽略了面部细节的重要性.面部不同部位对识别结果的影响力并不相同,这些研究尚未对面部各个区域进行细致区分和分析.本项研究引入结合Vision transformer(ViT)模型和动作单元(Action unit,AU)区域检测网络的创新性方法用于面瘫的自动识别及区域分析.ViT模型通过自注意力机制精准识别是否面瘫,同时,基于AU的策略从StyleGAN2模型提取的特征图中,利用金字塔卷积神经网络分析受影响区域.这一综合方法在YouTube Facial Palsy(YFP)和经过扩展的Cohn Kanade(CK+)数据集上的实验中分别达到99.4%的面瘫识别准确率和81.36%的面瘫区域识别准确率.通过与最新方法的对比,实验结果展示了所提的自动面瘫识别方法的有效性.

基于贝叶斯图注意力Transformer的航空发动机剩余使用寿命概率预测

航空发动机作为飞机的心脏,其健康状态对飞机的安全飞行至关重要.深度学习强大的数据挖掘能力,为通过海量历史数据预测航空发动机的剩余使用寿命提供了新方法.然而,传统基于深度学习的方法大都关注于挖掘数据在时间上的关联,而忽略了多个传感器监测数据之间复杂的非欧氏空间关系.此外,少有研究考虑数据或者预测过程本身具有的不确定性,缺乏对预测结果可靠性的评估.为解决上述问题,本文提出了一种基于贝叶斯网络和图注意力Transformer的航空发动机剩余使用寿命概率预测方法.将图注意力机制融入Transformer的时间多头注意力模块,结合图注意力网络在空间特征提取上的优势和Transformer模型在时间特征提取的优势,实现数据特征时空关系的联合提取.同时,利用改进的贝叶斯网络度量预测不确定性,在得到剩余使用寿命预测点值的同时给出相应的置信区间.最后,通过在公开航空发动机数据集上的实验,证明了所提模型的有效性和先进性.

THEORY OF BAINITIC TRANSFORMATION: A MODEL WITH COUPLED FIRST-ORDER PHASE TRANSFORMATIONS

The Ginzbury-Landau theory for bainitic transformation was devised, which contains two first-order phase transformations, one being reconstructive represented by the diffusional proeutectoidal precipitation of ferrite, and the other the displacive transformation. It provides a coupled mechanism for the formation of bainite. With the numerical simulation results, a diffusion-induced nucleation and a diffusion-accompanied growth of displacive transformation were suggested. This theory can be helpful to over- throw the thermodynamic difficulty of displacive transformation above the Ms temperature, and also helpful to understand the Bs temperature, the partial supersaturation, the single variation of bainitic carbides, and the incomplete-reaction phenomenon of bainitic transformation, etc..

On the Implementation of the Method of Derivation of Lorentz Transformations Used by Einstein

The Lorentz transformations are the mathematical basis of Einstein’s theory of special relativity. We conduct a thorough examination of the method of derivation of the Lorentz transformations used by Einstein and identify the cause of the incorrect implementation of the method. The cause is related to the incorrect proof of the equality φ(v)=1for the unknown function φ(v)arising in the process of derivation of the Lorentz transformations. We develop proof of the equality φ(v)=1and eliminate the cause of the incorrect implementation of the method of derivation of the Lorentz transformations used by Einstein.

The Proof That There Are No Invariabilities of Lorentz Transformations in the Interaction Theories of Micro-Particle Physics

It is proved in this paper that there are at least five situations in the interaction theories of microparticle physics that the Lorentz transformations have no invariabilities. 1) In the formula to calculate transition probabilities in particle physics, the so-called invariability factor of phase space d3p/E is not invariable actually under the Lorentz transformations. Only in one-dimensional motion with uy = uz = 0, it is invariable. 2) The propagation function of spinor field in quantum theory of field has no invariability of Lorentz Transformation actually. What appears in the transformation is the sum of Lorentz factors aμνaλμ ≠ δνλ when ν, λ = 1, 4, rather than aμνaλμ = δνλ. But in the current calculation, we take aμνaλμ = δνλ. The confusion of subscript’s position leads to wrong result. 3) Though the motion equations of quantum fields and the interaction Hamiltonian are unchanged under the Lorentz transformation, the motion equation of perturbation which is used to calculate the transition probability in the interaction representation has no invariability. 4) The interactions between bound state’s particles have no Lorentz invariability. In fact, the principle of relativity has no approximation if it holds. 5) The calculation methods of high order perturbations normalization processes in quantum theory of fields violate the invariability of Lorentz transformation. The conclusions above are effective for strong, weak and electromagnetic interactions and so on. Therefore, the principle of relativity does not hold in the micro-particle’s interactions. On the other hand, the invariability principle of light’s speed is still effective. So the formulas of special relativity still hold, but we should consider them with absolute significances.

Transformations in medical education:A prudential perspective

1 | BACKGROUND.A decade ago we asked the question, “Is there something inmedicine that is eternal or enduring?” Our aim was to writea manuscript entitled, “That which does not change inmedicine.” The publication begins as follows: “The practiceof medicine involves continual change, driven by a constantstream of developments in the understanding of biologicalstructure and function relevant to human diseases, and theparallel improvements in pharmacologic and other technologicalinterventions. This change is also driven by evolvingsocial philosophies, ethical trends, and lifestyles.” [1] Thatpreamble reverberates as strongly now as then, perhapseven more so, given the velocity of technological change.When we deliberated on which aspects of medical practiceshould remain stable, we had few premonitions thatimplantable chips, robotic surgery, virtual reality, andartificial intelligence (AI) would soon become ubiquitous.The needle has clearly moved, propelled by extraordinaryadvances in bioengineering, computer and data sciences;major shifts in the governance and organization of clinicalpractice;and powerful sociocultural trends.

Modified Lorentz Transformations and Space-Time Splitting According to the Inverse Relativity Model

Analysis of a four-dimensional displacement vector on the fabric of space-time in the special or general case into two Four-dimensional vectors, according to specific conditions leads to the splitting of the total fabric of space-time into a positive subspace-time that represents the space of causality and a negative subspace-time which represents a space without causality, thus, in the special case, we have new transformations for the coordinates of space and time modified from Lorentz transformations specific to each subspace, where the contraction of length disappears and the speed of light is no longer a universal constant. In the general case, we have new types of matric tensor, one for positive subspace-time and the other for negative subspace-time. We also find that the speed of the photon decreases in positive subspace-time until it reaches zero and increases in negative subspace-time until it reaches the speed of light when the photon reaches the Schwarzschild radius.

On Lorentz Transformations and the Theory of Relativity

In the course of a research study on Lorentz transformations and the theory of relativity, the fundamentals of the relativistic concepts of space and time, the relations of those concepts to Lorentz transformations, and equivalence of mass and energy were studied. Many important references on the said subjects were reviewed. This paper draws attention to some critical questions that have risen in the course of that research study on the concepts of expansion of time and unbounded increase of a particle’s mass with velocity.

Historical Changes,Contemporary Characteristics,and Five Transformations of Environmental Design in China

Starting from the characteristics of modernization in three different historical stages since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,this paper analyses the internal changes in the professional name,subordinate disciplines and categories,and professional mission of the environmental design profession,and summarizes the changes in the characteristics of the environmental design profession in 10 aspects such as subordinate disciplines,design objects,design types,cultural characteristics,and aesthetic values on the basis of the results of the analysis,and explores five transformations of the environmental design profession in the process of China’s development in the future.The five transformations in the future development of China are to serve the harmony and beauty of the three major urban and rural spaces with“small and micro-renewal and reconstruction”;to serve the transmission of Chinese culture and the spread of Chinese civilization with“spatial heritage and innovation”;to serve the balance and sufficiency of the four functions of urban and rural settlements with“friendliness and equilibrium”;to serve the intelligence,wisdom,and enjoyment of indoor and outdoor living environment space with“scientific and technological achievements”;and to serve the co-construction,co-management,and sharing of indoor and outdoor public space in urban and rural areas with“public participation.”

A study on the treatment of chloasma with moxibustion based on the theory of“Yang transforming Qi,and Yin shaping”

Background:“Yang Transforming Qi and Yin shaping”comes from“Plain Question Yin and Yang should be like the theory”.Chinese medicine believes that the imbalance of yin and yang is the cause of human diseases.One of the strengths of TCM in treating diseases is holistic regulation.The theory of“Yang transforming Qi,and Yin shaping”implies a strong holistic view.Chloasma,one of the common skin diseases,seriously affects the physical and mental health of patients due to its unclear etiology,difficult treatment and easy recurrence.The occurrence and development of chloasma are closely related to internal organs.This paper is based on the theory of internal meridian,“Yang transforming Qi,and Yin shaping”which attaches importance to the concept of“Yang Qi”,from a new understanding of the pathogenesis etiology of chloasma.Methods:The author believes that the incidence of the disease is the deficiency of Yang Qi,which can’t promote the movement of Qi and blood to nourish the face,resulting in tangible material condensation,so proposes that this disease needs to be promoted by Yang transforming Qi and warm to dissipate.Moxibustion belongs to the fire,and its warming effect can dissipate the tangible evil.Results:Combined with clinical practice and the theory of internal meridian,the author elaborated that moxibustion is one of the effective methods for treating chloasma,which provides a new way of thinking for the treatment of chloasma.Conclusion:“Yang Transforming Qi and Yin shaping”can be used to guide the treatment of chloasma.

Lorentz’s Transformations and Gravitation in the Granular Space Theory

Research into the read structure of space at ways leads to the conclusion on the existence of a privileged (absolute) system of reference, with all the equations remaining invariant about Lorentz’s transformations. The expansion of these transformations makes it possible to obtain easily the Schwarzshild matrix and, also, all the results of Einstein’s theory of gravity. The untangling of the physical meaning of velocity as a measure of relative deformation of elementary space cells eliminates, at last, all the paradoxes of Lorentz’s transformations and allows visual observation of the mechanism of gravity and Coulomb interaction in imaginary experiments.

Gauge Symmetry and Transverse Symmetry Transformations in Gauge Theories

The transverse symmetry transformations associated with the normal symmetry transformations are proposedto build the transverse constraints on the basic vertices in gauge theories.I show that,while the BRST symmetryin non-Abelian gauge theory QCD (Quantum Chromodynamics) leads to the Slavnov-Taylor identity for the quark-gluonvertex which constrains the longitudinal part of the vertex,the transverse symmetry transformation associated with theBRST symmetry enables to derive the transverse Slavnov-Taylor identity for the quark-gluon vertex,which constrainsthe transverse part of the quark-gluon vertex from the gauge symmetry of QCD.

Stage IV malignant transformation of mature cystic teratoma palliatively treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy:A case report

BACKGROUND Malignant transformation(MT)of mature cystic teratoma(MCT)has a poor prognosis,especially in advanced cases.Concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCRT)has an inhibitory effect on MT.CASE SUMMARY Herein,we present a case in which CCRT had a reduction effect preoperatively.A 73-year-old woman with pyelonephritis was referred to our hospital.Computed tomography revealed right hydronephrosis and a 6-cm pelvic mass.Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy(EUS-FNB)revealed squamous cell carci-noma.The patient was diagnosed with MT of MCT.Due to her poor general con-dition and renal malfunction,we selected CCRT,expecting fewer adverse effects.After CCRT,her performance status improved,and the tumor size was reduced;surgery was performed.Five months postoperatively,the patient developed dis-semination and lymph node metastases.Palliative chemotherapy was ineffective.She died 18 months after treatment initiation.CONCLUSION EUS-FNB was useful in the diagnosis of MT of MCT;CCRT suppressed the disea-se and improved quality of life.

Cracking the Snake Detection Theory: The Subcortical Visual Pathway as a Major Player in Cultural Transformations

Transforming growth factor-beta 1 enhances discharge activity of cortical neurons

Transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-β1)has been extensively studied for its pleiotropic effects on central nervous system diseases.The neuroprotective or neurotoxic effects of TGF-β1 in specific brain areas may depend on the pathological process and cell types involved.Voltage-gated sodium channels(VGSCs)are essential ion channels for the generation of action potentials in neurons,and are involved in various neuroexcitation-related diseases.However,the effects of TGF-β1 on the functional properties of VGSCs and firing properties in cortical neurons remain unclear.In this study,we investigated the effects of TGF-β1 on VGSC function and firing properties in primary cortical neurons from mice.We found that TGF-β1 increased VGSC current density in a dose-and time-dependent manner,which was attributable to the upregulation of Nav1.3 expression.Increased VGSC current density and Nav1.3 expression were significantly abolished by preincubation with inhibitors of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase(PD98059),p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(SB203580),and Jun NH2-terminal kinase 1/2 inhibitor(SP600125).Interestingly,TGF-β1 significantly increased the firing threshold of action potentials but did not change their firing rate in cortical neurons.These findings suggest that TGF-β1 can increase Nav1.3 expression through activation of the ERK1/2-JNK-MAPK pathway,which leads to a decrease in the firing threshold of action potentials in cortical neurons under pathological conditions.Thus,this contributes to the occurrence and progression of neuroexcitatory-related diseases of the central nervous system.

Simulating the mind and applications-a theory-based chance for understanding psychic transformations in somatic symptom disorders

With the new category of somatic symptom disorder/bodily distress disorder in ICD-11,research into pathogenetic and therapeutic pathways is stimulated.By turning away from the definition of somatoform disorders as“the lack of something physical explaining everything”,this new classification might offer a way to put the focus on the individual patient’s psychodynamic balance and conflicts and their condensation in the symptom.Modelling and simulation have a long history in science to gain insight also into complex phenomena.Considering the evolution of precision medicine many different parameters are meanwhile operationalised and ready for consequent process research.Calculation models have to fit to the complexity of this disorder category.In an interdisciplinary discourse between computer and medical/psychoanalytic scientists a multilayer,fine grained calculation model is elaborated.Starting from a clinical case history,within iterative discussion,by acknowledging the demand for interdisciplinary synergy and cooperation in science,psychoanalytic theory served as the basis for computer-scientific information technique.A parallelisation with the Mealy model helped to establish a meaningful calculation possibility for further process research.How psychic transformations can be understood properly in order to provide meaningful treatments,the respective training,and to conduct appropriate process-and outcome-research is established in simulating the mind and applications.

Fractional S transform-Part 1:Theory

The S transform, which is a time-frequency representation known for its local spectral phase properties in signal processing, uniquely combines elements of wavelet transforms and the short-time Fourier transform （STFT）. The fractional Fourier transform is a tool for non-stationary signal analysis. In this paper, we define the concept of the fractional S transform （FRST） of a signal, based on the idea of the fractional Fourier transform （FRFT） and S transform （ST）, extend the S transform to the time-fractional frequency domain from the time- frequency domain to obtain the inverse transform, and study the FRST mathematical properties. The FRST, which has the advantages of FRFT and ST, can enhance the ST flexibility to process signals. Compared to the S transform, the FRST can effectively improve the signal time- frequency resolution capacity. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective.

In situ study of phase transformations in Ti-6Al-4V-x H alloys

The hydrogen-induced microstructure evolution and phase transformations in Ti-6Al-4V alloy during heating and cooling were studied.The specimens were heated to 1273 K and subsequently cooled to room temperature.The hydrogen content is up to 0.8%（mass fraction）.The hydrogen-induced dynamic phase transformations and the corresponding mechanisms were analyzed.When the hydrogen content increases,the β transus temperature significantly decreases and the magnitude decreases,and the volume fraction of β phase increases.During heating,the phase transformations in hydrogenated Ti-6Al-4V alloys can be divided into three stages,and the phase transformation order is δ→α＋H2↑？δ＋α′→βH？α′→αH＋βH？αH→α＋H2↑？α→β？βH→β＋H2↑.In addition,the relationship among hydrogenation and Ms and Mf of α′ martensite were determined.
