In the 10 years after the concept of cloud computing was put forward,compared with traditional technologies and methods,great changes have taken place in the development methods,technical architecture,deployment methods and operation and maintenance modes of software systems.At present,software projects for cloud applications occupy the mainstream in the market.However,the undergraduate training programs for software engineering or computer science majors in many universities in China are still relatively traditional,lagging behind the development of cloud computing technology for freshmen.In view of this situation,this paper tries to select 3 core courses of“Requirements Analysis and System Design,Web Development Technology,Cloud Native Technology”in the undergraduate training program of software engineering major of Harbin Institute of Technology 2020 as the baseline,and puts forward the idea of breaking the barriers between courses and carrying out penetrating teaching reform.It aims to train students to have the ability to analysis,design and implementation of cloud-based application systems to meet the new needs of the market. 展开更多

To cater to the needs of the development of the college students’ vocational students’ English level high starting point of key university fi rst opened the ESP courses. Applied undergraduate colleges and universities is not to be outdone that after students fi nish college English courses opened a professional English and bilingual courses. However, the current ESP teaching in China is not yet mature that mainly displays in: goal is not clear, backward teaching mode, teaching method of the single insufficient standard, teaching material development. Diversified teaching plays an important role in the sustainable development of China’s basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.A diversified curriculum system should be designed to promote the development of each student,and efforts should be made to cultivate high-quality talents who can adapt to the various needs of the society as well as to promote the reform and development of basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.The aim of this study was to explore the teaching of basic piano course for higher education teachers based on the diversified teaching method.The teaching methods use for basic piano course were analyzed in this study,and two research methods were used to carry out the present study so as to effectively improve the operation of the diversified teaching method.Through a survey of the current situation of piano instruction in two higher education faculties,we can see that the teaching of basic piano course in higher education is still dominated by the traditional teaching method although the majority of students preferred the diversified teaching method. 展开更多

In recent years,the IT industry in China has developed rapidly and made remarkable achievements.However,there is still a big gap between China and foreign countries in the core fields of information technology,such as system hardware and software platform.Currently,foreign countries have gradually raised the restrictions of information technology in China,and even added many domestic enterprises to the restricted list,which has rung the alarm to the information security of the country.Therefore,in order to break through the foreign technology blockade and find a unique way in independent software and hardware platform,it is urgent to carry out the curriculum construction and talent training mechanism on core software and hardware platform.HarmonyOS is a“future-oriented”distributed operating system developed by Huawei.It proposes a distributed concept based on the same system capability and adapts to a variety of terminal forms,and supports a variety of terminal devices such as mobile phones,watches and smart screens.Our course on HarmonyOS aims to increase the theoretical knowledge of the core independent software and hardware platform.In the course,we exploit our teaching reform experience in the course of“Mobile Application Development”,and investigate the teaching mechanism of HarmonyOS to contribute to the rapid development of information technology and ecological construction in China. 展开更多

This study aims at investigating the effect of using L 1 (Arabic Language) while teaching a target language (English Language) on the achievement in General English of foundation year students in King Abdulaziz University. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher used an experimental design: an experimental group and a control group. The independent variable is using L1 while teaching English in very limited and specified areas. The dependent variable is students' achievement in general English. The statistics used is the t-test. The population of the study was all students enrolled in the foundation year 1431/1432 in the ELI (English Language Institute) at King Abdulaziz University. The sample of the study consisted of 50 students taking North Star in the sections A and B as a university requirement in the foundation year 1431/1432 in King Abdulaziz University. The results of the study were in favor of banning Arabic in the English language classroom as shown in the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in the tables. It is recommended that teachers and instructors should be trained to use teaching strategies that help them use English only in the English language classroom. 展开更多
