Cost Control Strategies for Hubei General Highway Greening Project

In order to respond to the national policy of focusing on the service of building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development,and to reduce the cost of greening projects while ensuring the effect of highway landscape,a process and cost control points of highway greening design,construction,and maintenance are summarized through a review of the literature.Additionally,this paper examines the attributes of highway greening and proposes cost control strategies that are aligned with these attributes.It is proposed that the implementation of cost control strategies for highway greening should commence at the project establishment phase,with the objective of establishing a comprehensive and effective cost management control system.While guaranteeing the greening landscape effect and the duration of the project,it is essential to regulate the crucial nodes in each phase of the design,construction,and maintenance process.Furthermore,it is vital to facilitate close collaboration between all parties involved,thereby reducing costs,conserving resources,and lowering energy consumption.This approach can also lead to enhanced economic and social benefits for highway greening projects.

Development, Delivery and Evaluation of a Safety Training Program on Demolition for Blight Reduction

The main objective of the work presented in this paper was to develop a customized safety training program that can be incorporated into the demolition projects undertaken as part of blight reduction efforts in urban centers. A subsidiary objective was to devise and implement a safety program evaluation methodology, and gain insights on the relationships between knowledge acquisition through training and trainee demographics. Salient aspects of blight elimination efforts, as well as the main facets of building demolition practices and requirements, were reviewed. Information on various related safety and health hazards was studied in depth with a focus on demolition operations dealing with blighted properties. A unique safety hazard awareness training program was created for demolition workers, contractors and inspectors based on this research. In addition to devising a curriculum of relevant training topics along with traditional and online delivery systems to be employed, effectiveness evaluation instruments were formulated. Based on the limited data collected from the trainees it was concluded that the program was well-received by them and provided effective learning. It was also found that no statistically significant associations existed between the knowledge gain of the trainees, and either their experience level or union status, after taking this training.

Diversity and Application of Herbaceous Flowers in Urban Road Greening in Hefei City

In urban road greening,the planting of ground cover flowers is essential,and herbaceous flowers are an important part.Through the investigation on the diversity of herbaceous flowers in urban road green spaces of Hefei City,the types,colors,application frequency and planting of herbaceous flowers in urban road green spaces were statistically analyzed,and the application forms of herbaceous flowers in the road greening of Hefei City were studied.The characteristics and problems of herbaceous flowers in the road greening of Hefei City were found,and some development suggestions were put forward.

Performance of Green Aggregate Produced by Recycling Demolition Construction Wastes (Case Study of Tanta City)

Egypt has a high attitude in construction and demolition waste (CDW) amounts causing a negative impact on the environment. The use of such waste for infrastructures applications can be useful for each environment and in addition an economic benefit to it in the construction. This study explores the possibility of replacing natural coarse aggregate with recycled concrete construction and demolition waste aggregate for general purpose concrete (i.e. plain concrete and low strength structural concrete). Different samples of CDW were extracted from different demolition sites and landfill locations around Tanta city area for the experimental investigation. CDW was crushed with all its hard constituents (e.g. concrete, brick etc.) found in the landfill. Coarse size crushed CDW was used as a coarse aggregate for concrete. Main characteristics of CDW aggregate determined in addition to the main properties of concrete which was made using this aggregate were measured. The results showed that the CDW could be transformed into recycled concrete aggregate leading to reduction in the concrete compressive strength ranged from 37% to 62% depending on the type of the CDW constituents.

Research on Kunming Urban Riverbank Greening Construction

Urban riverbank has connected water and land eco-system in the city,not only playing a vital role in releasing flood and conserving water and soil,but also of significant landscape and ecological value.In view of riverbank greening construction in the comprehensive improvement of rivers in Kunming City in recent years,the paper has analyzed three common riverbank greening modes based on the field survey,that is,protective greening,landscape greening and ecological greening.Then,some suggestions and countermeasures have been proposed,including enhancing construction of ecological river,exploring historical and cultural connotation of rivers,and selecting reasonable plants' species and disposition mode.

Analysis of Vertical Greening Landscaping in Suzhou Classical Gardens of China

Based on the survey of vertical greening plants in Suzhou classical gardens, the paper had introduced plants varieties for vertical greening in the gardens, and pointed out that it was one of the common techniques for vertical greening landscaping to make use of vine plants. It had also introduced 23 species of plants having been applied in vertical greening landscaping in Suzhou classical gardens, which belonged to 19 genera and 13 families. In terms of application form, it emphasized that white walls should be treated as papers and plants as paintings, shelves as pavilions and plants as shade, fences as supports and plants as decorations, rockeries as bones and plants as coats, banks as bases and plants as edges, columns as axes and plants as ornaments, bridges as surfaces and plants as points, and sloping fields as groves and plants as auxiliaries by taking vertical greening in Nets Garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, the Garden of Pleasant, the Lion Forest Garden and Coupling Garden for example.

The Greening Situation and Developing Countermeasures along the Han River——Taking Chaozhou Downtown Part as an Example

Hanjiang is the main river in Chaozhou. The urban sections on both sides of it are large-scale landscape zones which combine the natural landscape and the cultural landscape. Aiming at better manifesting the geographical features and pro-moting the sustainable development of the ecological environment on both sides of the Hanjiang River, the research, with the reach between the Jinshan River and the Hanjiang River as an example, pointed out the existing problems and put forward some constructive suggestions based on a thorough survey on the plant species and the rationality of plant configuration and the afforstation managements, in order to provide reference for the decision-maker of the further planning and construction of this area.

Application of New Slope Greening Technology——Reinforced Organic-Material and Plant Seeds Spraying

The research introduced the flowchart of organic-material and plant seeds spraying and a case of ＆quot;Dasi＆quot; Highway, the highway from Daxing to Sinan in Guizhou Province, a part of a National Highway from Hangzhou to Ruili, cal ed Hangrui Highway, slope protection. The flowchart included slope cleaning, net preparation, anchor fixation, adding vegetation-growth plate, spraying organic materi-als, coverage of non-woven fabrics, and maintenance. The technique is proved much efficient in protecting and greening road sideslopes consisting of weathered rocks or hard rocks, which provides a solution for abrupt slope greening technology.

Plantation of Fruit Tree and Its Application in Qiqihar’s Garden Greening

The sample survey methodology was used to investigate the concept of fruit trees planted in the Qiqihar City landscaping. The application effects of fruit trees in landscape were compared and the utilization features of fruit trees were analyzed. The most appropriate fruit trees species were selected and the optimum configuration types were proposed. The research results showed that from the perspective of the utilization of fruit tress in landscape in Qiqihar, the fruit trees species were not abundant and the quality was also not enough. The mostly used trees genera included Lonicera of Caprifoliaceae family, Viburnum, Sambucus, and Prunus, Ceraras, Pyrus, Malus belonging to Rosaceae family.

Survey of Greening Status and Suggestions on Landscape Planning of Chenlu Town

As Chenlu Town is of laddered terrain,houses,cave dwellings,trees and farmlands are distributed on all levels of the mountain.Through field visits and investigation,the author had the knowledge of the situation of indigenous tree species,fruit and economy tree species,garden greening tree species and wild cover plants.In the light of vegetation type and status of land use,Chenlu Town would be divided into terrace scenery zone,mountainous forest zone,greening zone in residential area and greening zone in unit and factory area;and then in accordance with the principle of greening planning in Chenlu Town,it would be divided into shelter and economic forest belt,water and soil conservation forest belt,mixed forest of black locust landscape belt and greening belt around residential district;finally the planning suggestions of greening landscape were proposed.

Application of Greening Plants of Magnoliaceae in Hefei City

The study made a comprehensive survey and analysis on application status and disposition features of Magnoliaceae plants in gardens of Hefei City.The survey showed that there were 24 tree species of Magnoliaceae belonging to 6 genera having been applied in gardens of Hefei City,among which Magnolia grandiflora was the most widely applied and next was Magnolia denudate.Finally,scientific analysis had been conducted on application prospect of Magnoliaceae plants in garden greening.

The Study on Urban Vertical Greening and Balance Water Supply Technology

The paper had analyzed the technology, maintenance and recognition of vertical greening in urban space, and proposed a solution for balance water supply for balconies and streetlights, that is, magnetic auxiliary shallow water level controller, the patent of which had been applied. Magnetic auxiliary shallow water level controller had met water supply of some special parts of urban vertical greening and was sure to accelerate urban vertical greening.

Investigation of Vertical Greening Plants on the Campuses of Hainan University

Through investigating vertical greening plants on the campuses of Hainan University,it was found that there are 41 species vertical greening plants with excellent landscape effects,belonging to 36 genera and 20 families,among which 4 species are shrubs,33 liana and 4 gramineous plants.The current application situation of the vertical greening plants on the campuses was briefly analyzed in this study,and corresponding suggestions were put forward in view of the existing problems.

Embodiment of "Ecological,Cultural,Landscape,Vigorous" Campus—A Case Study of the Planning of Environmental greening in New Campus of Laiwu Vocational and Technical College

The general situation of new campus of Laiwu Vocational and Technical College was introduced.The guiding ideology was that with the purpose of serving faculties and students as the purpose,the designing will be fully combined with excellent natural environment and campus technology and culture,and with ecological landscape as the major and sustainable development as the aim,striving to highlight the theme and landscape,a comfortable,vigorous,innovative and beautiful outdoor spatial environment would be created.In accordance with the planning principle of "people-orientation,ecology,sustainable development,embodying the characteristics of landscapes,overall planning and varied practices",based on the planning thought of "procession of whole and part,of technology and art,of buildings and environment and of landscaping methods",the overall planning and regional division of constructing "ecological,cultural,landscape,vigorous" campus was proposed,that is,the campus environment would be divided into six functional zones(the entrance door zone,footsteps zone,teaching activities zone,life services zone,athletic activities zone and ecological recreation zone) and ten scenic areas(gate landscape area,scientific and technological culture corridor,ecological recreation area,culture exhibition area,Xiushui Lake scenic area,knowledge park,living landscape area,art exhibition area,mountainous scenic area and sports activities area),and meanwhile landscaping plants were planned.

盆底超声检查和Green分型诊断产妇产后早期盆底结构及压力性尿失禁

目的:探究盆底超声检查和Green分型在产妇产后早期盆底结构及压力性尿失禁(SUI)诊断中的价值。方法:选取2021年3月-2023年3月本院就诊经产妇204例,根据产后早期(6~8周)SUI发生情况分为SUI组(82例)和非SUI组(122例)。检查产妇静息和Valsalva动作状态下膀胱颈距耻骨联合下缘的距离(BSD)、膀胱尿道后角(PUA)、膀胱颈移动度(BND)和尿道旋转角(UR),对比Green分型;采用受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线分析相关参数诊断SUI价值。结果:静息状态下,两组盆底超声参数无差异(P>0.05);SUI组Valsalva动作状态下的BSD、PUA、BND和UR值均大于非SUI组,Green分型Ι型占比(25.6%)低于非SUI组(59.8%)(均P<0.05)。ROC曲线分析,Green分型曲线下面积(AUC)0.579,对SUI诊断价值不佳(P=0.057),Valsalva动作状态下BSD(AUC=0.758)、PUA(AUC=0.743)、BND(AUC=0.769)和UR(AUC=0.705)对SUI诊断价值良好(均P<0.05)。结论:盆底超声检查和Green分型能有效评估经产妇早期盆底结构状况,前者可诊断SUI。

Discussion on the Existing Problems and the Countermeasures of Vertical Greening in Guangxi

With the acceleration of urbanization,the urban greening ratio showed a trend of declining,and since vertical greening is a significant part of the urban greening works,it is urgent to improve the urban green volume by increasing vertical greening.Aiming at the existing problems in the vertical greening of Guangxi,the countermeasures of promoting vertical greening in both technology and management were put forward in this study.
