Taking role conflict as the starting point,this article examines and reflects on the development of clinical teachers.In the process of the occurrence,development,and resolution of role conflicts among clinical teachers,there are many hidden issues related to the development of clinical teachers.The development of clinical teacher teaching and role conflict management contain similar educational philosophies and practical issues.This study draws on classic theories and research achievements in the development of university teachers and conducts theoretical analysis and practical reflection on the development of clinical teachers in medical colleges from the perspective of role conflict in social psychology.Policy recommendations are proposed,including strengthening the construction of teaching systems at the hospital organizational environment level,enhancing the role identity and teacher beliefs of clinical teachers,promoting their teaching development and academic learning,and ensuring their normal teaching investment;promoting leadership support at the level of interpersonal interaction and leveraging the role of colleague support in alleviating role conflicts;enhancing individual teacher beliefs,teacher role learning,and role skills. 展开更多

Vocational education is an important part of the overall education system.The development of higher vocational education is one of the guiding principles of education in China.The development of teachers is an important support for the development of vocational education.Teachers who can teach theoretically and guide students in practical work are known as“double-qualified”teachers.Building a highly qualified and professional double-qualified teaching team is the fundamental task in modernizing vocational education.Firstly,this paper discusses the importance of“double-qualified”teachers by describing the relevant policies of the Ministry of Education in China.Secondly,it reviews the research works of early scholars.Thirdly,it analyzes the main problems of teacher training in higher education institutions.Fourthly,it proposes five suggestions for the development of a“double-qualified”teaching team in higher education institutions.A high level and professional teaching team is an important support for the high-quality development of vocational institutions.School leaders must attach great importance to the construction of a“double-qualified”teaching team and increase the support in terms of policies,institutional protection,and financial investment. 展开更多

This article considers "good" teachers in the context of current developments in universities in China to reach a "gold standard" of considerably higher and more challenging levels of teaching and learning. We outline this context and consider concepts of good teachers in classical Chinese traditions and more recent Western thinking as a possible dialogue within and between cultures of learning. Using cognitive and cultural linguistic perspectives, we analyze metaphorical concepts of "gold" in "the gold standard" as related to teachers. We report our applied metaphor research which analyzes Chinese students’ expectations, values and beliefs about good university language teachers;this presents a rich picture beyond developing knowledge, skills and understanding to include strong social and moral characteristics. Other aspects which recognize the complexity of "good" teachers show a student appreciation of teachers’ tireless effort, devotion and selfless sacrifice: these aspects are absent in many discussions of good teachers. The participant-centered picture from elicited metaphor analysis is part of students’ "cultures of learning," but this should be developed culturally for the gold standard through further teacher development and student engagement. In line with interaction in cultures of learning, we indicate some classroom ways to extend students’ thinking through scaffolding teacher-student interaction based on textbook activities. 展开更多

The“New Medical Education”is a new requirement for the development of medical education in the new era.As a key and core element of the construction of the“New Medical Education,”the engagement in teaching work of university teachers is a key issue that determines the level of teaching development of university teachers and affects the quality of talent cultivation in universities.Using the literature review method,this study analyzed 39 relevant literatures retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 1997 to 2023.The concept,connotation,current situation,influencing factors,and improvement strategies of teaching engagement by university teachers were reviewed and summarized.The results showed that the issue of teaching engagement by university teachers has not received high attention in the field of higher education,especially in higher medical education,which has not yet been reported.Although the overall number of literature is not large,some of the conclusions have important implications for the next research on the influencing factors and mechanisms of double-qualified teacher engagement in higher medical colleges. 展开更多

Chinese as a foreign language (CFL) is a critical language in the United States, and the importance to have competent CFL teachers has been more and more realized. However, the literature does not show sufficient research on CFL teacher competency. To fill the gap, a series of exploratory research studies are initiated. As a part of the initiation, this study overviews the professional guidelines, resources, standards and requirements for CFL education in the U.S. at the national and state levels. The findings will be useful for designing teacher education program and teacher training program. In addition, student teachers, pre-service teachers, and in-service teachers can also use them as great references for their academic and/or professional development. 展开更多

20世纪80年代末以来,在提高教育质量的诉求推动下,各国纷纷制定教师专业标准或素养框架。国际经验显示:教师专业标准能否实现预期的目的,首先取决于我们研制什么样的标准以及如何实施这些标准,标准的目的与功能定位、形式与结构、研制... 20世纪80年代末以来,在提高教育质量的诉求推动下,各国纷纷制定教师专业标准或素养框架。国际经验显示:教师专业标准能否实现预期的目的,首先取决于我们研制什么样的标准以及如何实施这些标准,标准的目的与功能定位、形式与结构、研制主体与方式、实施方式与配套体系等,都是影响标准有效性的重要因素。我国现行的《教师专业标准》存在功能定位缺乏精准指向,结构缺乏真正有效的层次区分以及实施缺乏有机配套体系等问题。今后应该基于导向优先、兼顾评价的功能定位修订《教师专业标准》;重视标准的修订过程与方式,促进标准的有效传播和实施;以《教师专业标准》为基点,构建教师教育质量保障体系。 展开更多

住院医师规范化培训(简称“住培”)指导医师的综合能力和素质是培养优秀住院医师的重要保障,也是影响住培质量的关键要素。随着我国住培管理制度的不断完善,住培师资队伍能力提升最主要的途径已不仅限于师资培训,骨干师资培育计划也逐... 住院医师规范化培训(简称“住培”)指导医师的综合能力和素质是培养优秀住院医师的重要保障,也是影响住培质量的关键要素。随着我国住培管理制度的不断完善,住培师资队伍能力提升最主要的途径已不仅限于师资培训,骨干师资培育计划也逐渐成为高效提升住培师资能力的创新途径。骨干师资培育计划将住培师资培养目标进行了更加细致的划分,指导医师以自身教学业绩及教学能力水平等为基础,通过开展一系列的教学活动逐步提高综合教学能力。教学管理部门组织专家通过遴选体系、培训体系、考核体系对骨干师资培育对象进行严格的三级培育体系管理,严把入口、过程、出口三个关键环节,强调过程管理和目标考核,并引入住培督导反馈机制,同时配套资助及激励政策。骨干师资培育计划的开展探索了住培师资队伍建设的新途径,对逐步分层次提升住培师资能力提供新的思路。 展开更多

目的探讨教师模拟标准化病人(TSP)联合临床医师技能培训考试系统(OSCE)教学模式应用于住院医师规范化培训(以下简称“规培”)中的效果。方法选取2022年8月至2023年8月在潍坊医学院附属医院接受规培的住院医师60名,按随机抽签法分为两组... 目的探讨教师模拟标准化病人(TSP)联合临床医师技能培训考试系统(OSCE)教学模式应用于住院医师规范化培训(以下简称“规培”)中的效果。方法选取2022年8月至2023年8月在潍坊医学院附属医院接受规培的住院医师60名,按随机抽签法分为两组,对照组30名培训过程中应用传统教学模式,研究组30名培训中应用TSP联合OSCE教学模式。比较两组规培医师培训前后的培训效果、综合能力及对规培医师对教学模式认同度。结果研究组培训后的理论、实践操作成绩均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。研究组培训后的迷你临床演练评估(Mini-CEX)、批判性思维能力测量表(CTDI-CV)评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。研究组规培医师对教学模式的认同度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论TSP联合OSCE教学模式应用于住院医师规培中可有效提升其成绩及综合能力,且规培医师对此教学模式的认同度较高。 展开更多

目的探讨线上工作坊模式对内科专业住院医师规范化培训(简称住培)指导医师临床操作技能直接观察评估(direct observation of procedural skills,DOPS)师资培训的应用效果。方法选取2022年11月参加广东省内科专业住培普通师资培训班的45... 目的探讨线上工作坊模式对内科专业住院医师规范化培训(简称住培)指导医师临床操作技能直接观察评估(direct observation of procedural skills,DOPS)师资培训的应用效果。方法选取2022年11月参加广东省内科专业住培普通师资培训班的45名指导医师为研究对象,采用线上分组讨论与教学视频评价反馈相结合的线上工作坊模式进行DOPS师资培训,采用问卷自评的方式评价指导医师对DOPS的掌握程度,并通过问卷调查了解培训前后指导医师对线上DOPS的培训需求与满意度。结果培训前仅17.8%的指导医师使用过DOPS量表;指导医师在培训后对DOPS的掌握程度明显高于培训前[(3.71±0.69)分比(2.29±0.87)分,P<0.01];且95.6%及以上的指导医师表示能够理解“DOPS评分项目的均质化制定方法”和“形成性反馈技巧”;100.0%的指导医师表示在今后住培教学中愿意尝试使用DOPS。课程的整体满意度评分为(8.40±1.70)分。结论线上工作坊模式对内科专业住培指导医师DOPS师资培训的短期效果满意,可进一步在住培形成性评价师资培训中推广应用。 展开更多
