But the character “柬” was not successfully deciphered, which made the textincoherent and difficut to understand. In my opinion, the “柬” should be read as “管”, which is identicalwith “管” and means house. The inscription shows that during the Western Zhou period, feudatoryprincedoms built special houses as hotels for envoys sent to them.展开更多
